Hey Miss G! Its been SOOOO long! Im at 251 I fluctuate between 250-254. I wish I never would have stopped eating LC. Going back and forth has caused me to go from 217 all the way up to 251. Its amazing what happens when you get off track. Anyways, good luck and hope to tty soon!!

I am jealous... you are where I want to be in the ONEderland.... that is why I started over again today.
I fell off the wagon or so....
I am really thinking of going back to my dr and seeing if I can see the psychologist again... My brain does not see me thinner then I was at 293......
sure I can not wear any of those clothes anymore and went from a size 26- to 16-18
my brain still sees me fat... is anyone else like that???

oh no... im NOW at 251. 199 is my first goal, 157 being final

I think my problem is that I don't FEEL fat. Like... I know when i look in the mirror i AM, but when I go out with friends or talk to someone, I dont FEEL fat. I dont feel that way until I see someone else my size and then it really hits me . Im 26 but feel like I'm much older because of my weight. My husband and I are eating better and start walking tonight. We have to walk 5 days a week according to my dietician for atleast 30 minutes in order to lose weight and get my A1C down. Ive got a long road ahead of me... But I think with determination and good friends () I can do it! My 6'3" husband (26 also) weighs 279. His 5'5" wife is 251. THAT makes me feel bad. I wear a 20-22 right now. My rear is HUGE to me... If I could cut half off I'd be a 14 probably, LOL!

We can do this!

My hubby started jogging with me. It hurts my ankle so I have not jogged in a while. But I can... That sucks because to me I want to jog where no one can see my fat @$$ jogging. My hubby said well look at it this way... at least you are out here doing this.. not sitting at home. Truth is I would much rather be sitting at home so no one can see me... sad I know.. I have issues and it has only been since I started losing weight.. I know I must be backwards or something. Before I really didnt care what I looked like or who didnt like what they saw...
I am just weird...

ok i totally understand how you feel... Even like at the gym, and when im walking around the lake... i feel self conscious. im thinking the other people are judging me... but you know what?? I ALSO feel theyre thinking "Hey, she's overweight, but atleast she's taking the initiative to go out and do something about it. atleast shes TRYING to walk and go to the gym and lose weight." SO. thats my mentality about it. I used to be embarassed (and still get that way sometimes ) but again, atleast youre trying to lose. THAT means the most!

I walked this morning 1 mile it took me 20 mins. I am not sleeping well since Tom is gone. I guess I better get used to him not being here since he is going to be gone for the next year... I dont think I can go a year without sleep...

Ok....Today is pre planning and purchasing day.

I am starting induction tomorrow.

Im excited to get back to it and make the best of this. My sig. other needs to lose weight badly as well. My soon to be 13 yr old asked to help her too. So i will do a modified LC with fruit and whole grain options for her. She is taller then me right now and STILL growing . Mind you, Im 5'8!!!!! Right now she is 215lbs and of course she needs to be in a certain range.

Im currently bouncing between 255 and 260 and im SOOOOOOOO OVER THIS!!!!



So im gathering some meal ideas for induction and will start tomorrow. I do think i will be incorporating egg cream shakes in for breakfast or lunch options. Its simple and they do the job.

So i will check back with you guys later...........

Liv...I'm glad to see you back. I know you can stay motivated and stick to the plan once your mind is in it...You have maintained your weight quite well which is good....You can do this and it also helps if the family is on board as well...I am back to 173...sucks cause I self sabitage all the time... I get down to 160 and think I'm the sh***t and go off plan and eat like a maniac..why do I do this, that is the question. summer is here and i look horredous in a bathing suit...I don't want to be obease again but I seem to have lost my focus. maybe we can help each other stay focused...i think I am having perimenopause issues...Get aunt flow like every 14-16 days now so I am continuously PMSing and feel bloated all the time so i have been eating what I want when I want...Not good...anyway i am here for you and for support...We can do this...we know what works just have to work the plan....take care and have a great weekend

I keep trying to type but this laptop keeps losing my post ... I am soooo excited to see everyone back. I have been trying to restart for awhile (since I have gained almost all of my original weight back) but have not been very motivated -- despite the fact I feel horrible mentally and physically because of what I have allowed to happen ... but I am determined to get back to where I was and then reach goal. I am starting over on Wed when I get back from an out of town trip ... but I will be planning this weekend and shopping on Tues! Olivia, we did this together the first time and you got me through so many bad spots ... we can do this together again!!!!

Hi everyone!!!

Ok, Im 10 days late starting induction but I am on day 1 of induction as of today! Yesterday was LC too but I did have 1 corn tortilla with my chorizo for Breakie......Im still counting today as true induction.


Yesterdays eats were:

B; Chorizo n Eggs w/ 1 corn tortilla(13carbs)

Coffee

No lunch......

D: OMM Sandwich with ham and swiss



So far today

B/L: OMM Ham n Swiss Sandwich( really filled me up)

Coffee....

Dinner is going to be BBQ Garlic Ribs W/ a small amount of lawrys Cajun Chipotle marinade and salad.

Im really trying to get in the habit of drinking enough water. Ive really been neglecting my water intake the last few weeks.

So I told myself I will take this 1 day at a time....I need to get my head back in the game.

I wieghed myself this morning and I was at 262.2. NOT what I wanted to see but knowing i havent been eating good im sure Im packed with alot of bloat right now.

Its taken me a year or so to pack on 50-60 of these nasty lbs. Its time to get rid of them.....

Im not setting any "mini goals"....everyday will be a new low for me. I just want to get rid of this 1lb at a time. Thats all...........



Barbara, Hows things going along?? I've missed your posts!

Tara, I saw you on the old thread.....I'm glad you are back
on track.....Remember, "We can do this, We can make this happen"!

MissG your ribs sound super delish! Recipe?? I love ribs, but never know how to make them besides with BBQ sauce :blush:. Congrats on getting back OP!

I just minced garlic and mixed it with about 1/4 cup of grapeola oil (grape oil) or you can use veg/olive oil. I seasoned the ribs with salt and pepper and poured and rubbedt he olive oil garlic mix all over the ribs and put them in the fridge for an hour. I just took them out and rubbed them again....lol...that sounds so funny....then I poured 1/2 cup of lawrys cajun chipotle marinade on them and rubbed that in too...and then put them back in the fridge til I cook them.

In an hr I i will take them out and slow cook in the oven on 250 for an hour then I'll throw them on the grill to finish cooking......its a process....but they come out sooooo good and fall off the bone. Sans BBQ sauce.....

omg, that sounds amazing! Im writing that down and definetly trying it! I've never had ribs withOUT BBQ, so I'm definetly looking for a LC version I never thought to slow cook in the oven first... what a GREAT idea! thinking of trying this friday night now... mmm... ribs. LOL

Ribs came out deeeeeelish!!!! Ending my first day of re Induction drinking another 33 oz of water......I know it will be about 66oz of water ingested but thats a whole lot more oz of water then Ive had in a few weekds. Tisk Tisk Tisk on me.......

I Joined the Drop it like its hot challenge........challenges always keep me going.....I need to be accountable right now......
