Maryposa's Weekly Weigh in and Food Journal

I have already lost quite a bit of weight, I want to journal my continued journey here.

What this thread is
.... I am planning to weigh in weekly, and post menus and photos of kitchen experiments here. I do not think I will post menus every single day, because during the week my menu tends to be boring and monotonous, but I will post menus when I can or want to.

What this thread is not... a recipe thread. In the kitchen, I rarely use recipes and I am one of those intuitive cooks who does not measure or time.

I can't promise that I will keep this thread up forever. I have been on these boards a long time, and started a journal in the other journal area before and I did not feel that I was getting as much out of it as I was putting into it. Same goes here... should that happen, I will stop posting. Meanwhile, thanks for "listening"!

This is what I had for brunch... keep in mind I do not eat like this every day. I usually make myself a nice brunch on sat.

cinnamon-coconut almond flour pancakes (this was on a salad plate, the pancakes are not that huge.


3 Slices uncured bacon, and confetti hash (radishes, zucchini and onion fried in some of the fat from the bacon).. I did not eat all of the hash, although it was delish... I shared.


Crystal Light Orange Sunrise with 2 meyers lemon juice ice cubes

this is food given to me as gifts or otherwise available for free that I did not partake in.


(I couldn't find a way to make that pastry look depressing, but in MY onionion the topping looks pretty gross)

Thanks... yup, a pretty high percentage of us are not first timers... hehe... my first Atkins Induction was in the 90s. The impression of how it felt and how I lost so easily never left me. I am in this for life. Thank you so much for your support.
