Awww Lisa you remembered!
![]() Moving day (and the next several days ahead)! We are actually moving about 1 mile away. The plan is to just do as many loads as my time allows each day until we are down to the furniture. Today I did barware & crystal (basically unloaded a huge hutch we are selling), books & games and started on my storage room (got Christmas decorations done). Tomorrow starts my first day of 10 full days of training for my new job. I will be working part-time, however, the training is 8 hr days for two weeks. Gotta get up and drive into Mpls during rush hour! Boo! Except for Tues of this week....no training on that day. However, I have scheduled myself two clients in the morning and will try be disciplined enough to get in a workout (I will be eager to get to moving stuff). I am so excited about our move that all day today I kept saying just one more load. It is so convenient to only have to zip a mile up the road. In between moving I also got my usual 6 loads of laundry done. Dryer has a load of towels in it...once it buzzes I am going to bed! My online time is my de-stressor so I will be here at least once a day. But there might be some offline time? Good Night!

Good Morning!!!!!
Training for the new job is clear on the north side of Mpls (we live in a suburb south of Mpls) which means a long commute to and from. No way no how would I do this every day. I will be working way closer to home. I think it's 4-miles from door to door. By the time I get home I have just enough time to get dinner going, things ready for the next day and then hit the pillow to do it all over again. I have had no time to continue taking loads of stuff to our new home. It's gonna have to wait until the weekend. Which is fine. We have until Oct. 15th in our current home. Coffee cup is empty....which means time to hit the shower. Have a great day!!!!! |

Last day of training! WooHoo!!
![]() We are moving TV's tonight and then picking up a rental truck tomorrow early evening to move furniture/gas grill/treadmill. Cable/Internet to be installed tomorrow night and phone on Saturday morning. We still have lots of little odd & ends around the house. One more swoop through should get it all. Last night, I took over most of the pantry items and our stock of supplements/protein powder. Still have to move our daily dishes/glasses/silverware/pans. I have a client tomorrow morning and then I actually start my new job from 12-4pm. I gotta remember to call and see if the dog & cat can get in with the groomer tomorrow. They are both pretty grungy! Off to start my day! |

It's Monday....and I am EXHAUSTED. We ended up getting the moving truck at 6pm on Friday night and got all the furniture moved by midnight. Saturday/Sunday we were up early getting settled in. We also spent way too much time and money at Target. We still have a couple more loads of odds & ends at our other house to move. I still have a huge pile of stuff to put away here at our new home. By this time next week it should be ALL DONE!
First "real" day of new job and guess what, my son is sick with the flu. The puking throughout the night kind. Ugh! Oh how I would love a day in bed. Back to tracking food & fitness today! I got 20 min. in on my treadmill at 5:30am and will do a full body strength training session this afternoon after work. I might sneak a nap in before hand. Here's a funny....we were welcomed to our new neighborhood with a CONDOM hanging on the front door knob this morning. Our A/C wasn't working and the repair man was here this morning at 8am. How embarrassing. He knocked on the door and I opened it. There it was dangling! |

I came home from work yesterday at 4pm and landed in my bed until 7pm when hubby came home from work. We ate yummy grilled grassfed burgers and back to bed at 9pm. I think I am still recovering from the moving and two weeks of training. I am not feeling 100% either. I am not going to stress about putting EVERYTHING away right now. I am just not feeling well. I need a little relaxation and de-stressing. First pay day is on Friday and I think I am going to pamper myself with a massage on Saturday! Off to work from 11-3 today and then to the farm to pick up our two week supply of eggs.

My poor son is home in bed for the third day in a row. He really has a bad flu bug. I think my body is fighting hard not to get it! Yesterday I worked, picked up eggs & dropped off dry cleaning and then got in bed around 5pm, for the night! I dozed in and out until BL was on and then out like a light by 9pm. I did wake up around 3am starving. Had a handful of nuts and a swig of unsweetened almond milk and then back to bed until 6am.
My husband came home last night and declared that our new home is his favorite of the 4 we've lived in since being married. We plan to stay in this one a little longer than the previous 3. First two days of my new job have been good. I need to re-think my shoes though. All my dress shoes have a pretty high heel, which look great, but not practical for standing in for 4-8 hours. Dress code is between business professional & casual. My eating has been on track but still no exercise in sight. My body is really sore & achey which I think is from the hard labor of moving over the weekend and this flu bug in our home that I am apparently fighting off. I miss my weight training!! Once this fatigue has resolved I will be back in my routine. Today is another 11-3pm shift. I may tackle a pile of stuff in the guest bedroom. For now, I will sit with my feet up and drink my coffee. ![]() |

The bug that bit DS1 has now moved on to DS2. Last night I accompanied my husband to a business dinner and when I got home DS2 was on the couch in tears. His head hurt, his throat hurt and he was coughing. DS1 had throw up flu, DS2 now has the upper respiratory stuff, which is more consistent with H1N1. There have been reported cases in their middle school. I am scheduled to work 8:30-5pm today. Ugh! What to do, what to do. It worries me to leave him home alone.
So glad it's Friday! I love the weekends! Hi Ya right back atcha Jaimie! I hope you are happy and well! |

Life is slowly returning to normal....
We were non-stop again this weekend! We did take time on Friday night to relax and watch a movie (Ghosts of Girlfriends Past).
This move is neverending!! We finally got the last of the stuff out of the old house and cleaned. We left behind a huge pile for the Goodwill and some furniture we are selling. I posted on Craigslist last night around 9pm an ad for our oak kitchen table and hutch and woke up to 15 emails this morning. Buyer is picking it up on Tuesday night! Score! This morning I emptied out three more boxes, did a quick full-body workout w/a cardio cooldown (home gym/treadmill), showered and then went shopping!! Now I am home, just ate lunch and am off to get dressed in my new outfit and then to work! 2-6pm today and a mtg from 6:30-7:30pm. Tonight....the Vikings vs. Packers!!!!! Breakfast Coffee w/1/2 c. Whole Milk from Grassfed Cows 2 Cage Free Pastured Eggs 2 Slice TJ's Sprouted Bread w/Organic Valley Whipped Butter Post Workout Life Time Fitness Fast Fuel Complete Protein Shake Lunch Organic Cream of Mushroom Soup (I added some chopped Chicken Breast to it) Organic Greens w/Annie's Italian Dressing 2 Squares TJ's Organic Dark Chocolate I have some almonds in my drawer at work which I will snack on this afternoon and hopefully keep me satiated until a late dinner tonight. Grilled Grassfed Burgers & TJ's Organic Roasted Green Beans. Yummy!!! |
