Onderland gave me a tease then left, lol. but thats ok I saw it once, it'll be back . Still lost 7 lbs last week and thats nothing to sneeze at Started antibiotics yesterday so I know my weight loss will be slow while I'm on them but right now I'd rather feel better than weigh less.

Had to go back to the doc this morning, my bp shot through the roof and heart was going crazy. She put me on a z-pak to try, said I had the flu and sinus infection. She doesn't think its swine flu but the other flu going around in our area.

Had her look back in my chart to get my last weight. It was 232 in early June, it was 201 today which is the same weight I got on my new scale this morning so I'm glad to know its accurate. So I have lost 31 lbs to date I'm changing my sig and profile to reflect the new numbers. The last year or so dh has been joking that I'm getting shorter so I asked her to check my height too. I went from 5'3'' to 5' 1- 1/2 '' I told hubby and he said, I told you you where getting shorter! Now I gotta lose more weight to make up for the shorter me

Taking it easy today again. I really miss exercising, something I never thought I'd hear myself say.

thanks everyone for the well wishes. It helped I'm still not a 100% myself but better today. I wont be on tomorrow my sister and I are taking our 4 wheelers on a trip through the mountains. I had planned on going on the horses but sis doesn't ride real well and she gets nervous going downhill, lol. We wont be able to get off trail as well in the area because of the bluffs so we'll have to stick to dirt roads, sis doesn't do well downhill on 4 wheelers either but it will still be fun

Good morning !! I woke up and laid there a few minutes and realized I felt normal again!!

Had a great time yesterday! We stayed on the roads but still had fun. Found a mountain dirt road and used it to get into a huge valley without many homes in it. Spent hours exploring it. Got home mid afternoon and ran a few errands then got in an hour callanetics.

It felt so good to do them again and stretch everything out. I swear my back must have popped 20 times while doing the workout, lol. Even after not doing them a week I was surprised how much deeper I was able to get into the stretches. I felt great afterwards, tired but great I wish I could do them everyday!! I was so stiff. Slept like a log after all of the fresh air and sunshine.

Retaining some water but figure its from the meds. I have 2 more days to take them and hopefully the scale will go back down. Don't think I'm going to make it back to wonderland by Tuesday though...maybe next week.

Today is going to be fun and hard I love going to cook outs at my mil's. Its always a big crowd, everyone brings food. This one is a fish fry but there will be plenty of meat to choose from, fish, chicken, burgers, hot dogs. Everyone brings side dishes too and of course desserts That will be the hardest to resist!! Dh and his one of his brothers will be grilling out so I already told hubby to set me aside a med rare burger with no sauce on it It wont be hard to find a salad I can eat.... just have to keep away from the sweets!!

There has been way to much food around this weekend, lol but so far I have stayed OP. One of my Gd spent the night last night and called me a few days ago and asked me to make her spaghetti.. It was so cute she ( shes 5 yo ) called me a few days ago and asked to stay .. then she said, 'granny, I have to ask you one thing...please cook me spaghetti.' So of course I had to,lol. I resisted eating any noodles but of course had to taste some sauce while it was cooking. The sauce would be low carb but it makes me retain water ( all those tomatoes and sodium and I'm already retaining enough of that !) The hardest to resist was the italian bread hot out of the oven but I did

Got a busy morning ahead.. of course gotta feed critters. Make macaroni salad and buttermilk pies, clean kitchen back up get a shower and prettied up, get dgd a bath and dressed and be at mils by about 10. Guess I had better get busy.

I'm worn out from the long weekend, lol. Had a great time at the fish fry. did good and didn't cheat when we ate at 12, but then everyone stayed until 8 pm and had left overs about 7. I hadn't ate much at 12 except some meat.. and ended up cheating at 7 because I was so hungry and there was no meat left just potato salads and cornbread dressing * sigh* I would have just went and got something but my mils place is way out in the middle of nowhere and there was nothing, lol. I didn't eat much just a few little teaspoons full of dressing and a slightly larger amount of salad. But then....

Monday we got invited to another cookout a my sil's and I didn't do so good. Ended up eating some cake.. made me sicker than a dog woke up this morning shaking all over and swelled up scale reading 203!! No onederland for me this week.

Sounds like a fun packed weekend, you did so well considering all the goodies on offer, look at it this way you could have ate alot more things than you did you could have binged for a few days or maybe weeks you didnt, your strong, a piece of cake the cake you were craving weeks ago, you had it now, so you can forget about it and move on....thats the way I felt about the chinesse plus last time I was so so so sick it so wasnt worth it, have to keep that in mind next time a temptation arises!

thanks tempted , its kind of crazy around here right now. gd is feeling a bit better but more are sick now. Im taking care of dil 2 grandkids with it, dils mother was here awhile but went home tonight. My 2 other gds are acting sick tonight and may have to go to the er soon and be tested. I have 2 sil with it and a niece so far, we think someone might have had it at the cook outs and spread it. While I wa sick I had everyone stay away from me so I wouldn't spread it around. ( in case it was swine ) Its going to be a crazy few days but hopefully everyone will get better soon.

Just popping in to say HI Things have been crazy for me these past couple of weeks, but had some very good news yesterday. Pop by 'my place' when you have a minute and you'll see!

Hope you are all well... you are still on track, and that is SO important during the stressful times.

Enjoy the weekend!

Kids went home last night! Everyone is on the mend. Today me and sis are working on getting our house back to normal, lol.

Stayed op the whole time but didn't make the best choices so I'm dealing with a little retention but not real bad. Back on track 100% today and hope to see some changes at weigh in next week. Onderland had better get here and stay

Got off track with exercise but can still get in the rest of my 10 hours if I set my mind to it. Still searching for a treadmill but plan on getting back to walking outside this week and working up to 2 miles a day by Oct.

Didn't take measurements this month and think I'll just wait now until Oct. Pants are getting bigger though so I am shrinking a bit I'm hoping by then to be able to take more big cloths out of closet again and store them for the future yard sale.

I missed reading and writing on here the last week.

having a bit of a hissy fit so you may want to stop reading here... plus some might find this topic offensive so read on at your own risk...

my sister made the comment that her husband stated that my boobs where sagging and he didn't want hers to end up like mine

first off her do sag just as bad.. but I didn't mention that...... I did tell her that my boobs where none of her husbands business and next time he was over he could drop his pants for me and let me see if his testicles where as firm as they where 20 some years ago, I told her I bet they looked like eggs hanging in tube socks by now and until he firmed them up he had no business commenting badly on any woman's assets..

The man is a womanising jerk

Damn no wonder your mad I would have been fuming too, how dare him make comments about other womans bodies especially his SIL's, am shocked that he even said it to your sister, didnt she give him a ear bashing? Why did your sis even mention it, am sure she wouldnt like it if you said something similar to her, Good come back about him dropping his pants....damn some men are total jerks!!! I totally hate womanizers too! Try not to let his wise crack bother you, I know its hard letting something like that go over your head

Thinking about doing a yogurt fast for a few days. I did it a few years ago and loved the way I felt. I'm wanting to do it not only for a bit of loss but also because I'm to the point where I'm just sick of eating the same stuff. Some days I just don't even want to bother with food and have to force myself. I figure a few days change would be nice.

The scale has showed me 199 the last 2 mornings and I'm hoping this time it's here to stay I still feel a bit bloated hopefully yogurt will help with that too. I'm looking forward to making some yocheese, I love that stuff.
