As for the tight clothes seen that mentioned on a few threads before am sure with people doing callanetics maybe its your body pulling in to a middle area hence the tight feeling in your clothes.

Wish I lived closer to you Dixie. We could for long walks to kill the time and get some good exercise in too. It always goes by faster when you have someone to talk to while you're walking.

Dixie, no word from you yet today????? I just realized how much I depend on your posts in the morning to get me going. lol

Hope everything is well. I'm going to try to post more for the rest of the year because once Halloween hits this is always the hardest time of the year for me to stay on plan, so I'm really going to need the support of everyone to keep me in line.

I'm sorry I was MIA yesterday. I got to go with one of my grand daughters on her first field trip. We had a blast ! It was to a farm, lol. Spent the whole day playing with animals, jumping in corn cribs, fishing, walking through hay mazes and taking hay rides.

Another one of my grand daughters is out of school this week so I have her for a day or two.

I came home all excited because I got a lot of ideas for our farm ( things we could set up for the grand kids ) Spent the evening explaining to dh what I wanted to do. Talked to him about converting one of our stalls to a corn crib, making slides out of round bales. My son was over and was listening and said he would help me make some of the stuff, plus he thinks he knows where I can buy lots of round bales cheap and maybe make a hay maze!!We already have lots of things here the kids can do but loved the way that farm was set up. Scolded him because I still didn't have a milking cow or pig yet, lol.

I think my goats sensed that I was cheating on them at a another farm, because when we pulled into our driveway they had all escaped the pasture and where in the yard, eating dog food and making a pest of themselves One of my dogs was so upset about the whole thing she crawled under our porch and had her puppies where I couldn't get to them. I still don't know how they all figured out I went to see other animals.

Stayed OP yesterday and resisted all the yummy treats there but did get tons of exercise walking, playing and lifting kids. Didn't get to drink all my water though and can feel the difference.

I really missed y'all too ff, this board and my rambling is what helps me stay focused. I depend on you and tempted a lot and the others and think of y'all as dear friends. I'm glad you have decided to post more often.

Dixie, sounds like you had an awesome day yesterday! Good job resisting all the treats!
I'm headed to the orthodontist right now to get braces on my bottom teeth. I'm hoping it will be painful and I won't be able to eat for like 3 weeks. Lol
a girl can dream.
I'll check back in when I get home.

I just realized today that there was only one week left in our challenge. I promised myself I would be at 189 by then. So this week I'm going to be extra careful and try to live up to that promise.

I plan on spending extra time working around the farm along with callanetics. Doing cardio is still giving me a hard time about causing my muscles to swell painfully and retention. Working harder on the farm has 2 advantages, a good workout and hopefully less retention.

So get ready to be bored because you know me I'm going to have to write it all down in here. LOL

Thanks Dixie! The braces are painful and I can't chew anything! The only thing I can eat is soup right now. So hopefully I'll lose some weight while I adjust to wearing these things.

You will definitely make it to 189 by next week, no doubt. I'll be here to chat with you all week so that you don't feel like you're just talking to yourself. lol

Today's to do list

callanetics
run through house and pick up, put on soup for supper
pay a few bills
muck out chicken house and add layer of hay to floor for cold weather
clean nest boxes
clean tack room
fix broken gate
walk through pastures checking fence lines and picking up trash that might have blown in from windy days
sweep leaves off all decks and porches and walkways.

I had better get busy

Morning.

Still trying to adjust to my new schedule
I have been trying to work on paperwork and banking each morning so I wont get behind. I tend to put it off because I hate doing it. While its nice having it done each day its putting me behind on my other work and I cant get used to it.

Got it out of the way now I'm going to run through and pick up the house all the gks where here last night and I was too tired when they left to bother picking up so I have a bit of a mess this morning.

I'm hoping to get some time in the candle shop today since its going to be raining yet again. I haven't made any fall scents at all this year. It seems that every time I plan on going down there to work something else comes up.

No exercise today. No idea what I'm eating running low on groceries and not in the mood for a store run so I guess I'll wing it,lol.

Today's plan

Paperwork (done)
house work
feed critters
shower and dress
make some phone calls for dh
pour some candles and clean candle shop while down there
sweep out rest of basement
do payroll
figure out whats for supper,lol

Off to start on house now. Hope everyone is having a great day so far!

House is cleaned and I should have known since I wanted to make candles something would come up,lol. The inner seal of my washer got torn somehow and since dh is going out of town and needs his work cloths packed today it looks like I'm going to have to make a trip to the laundry mat

Going to feed the critter super fast and load cloths in the truck. One load is soak and wet since I didnt notice the seal until after I started the washer and had a small flood in the utility room. *sigh*

I keep putting off going, lol. I don't really mind using one but hate the sitting doing nothing part of it. Was thinking about calling my sis and asking if she would run 2 loads through her washer for me.

How are you doing today ff?

Doesnt seem enough hours in the day Dixie you are such a busy woman, sorry to hear about the washer, if you go to the laundrymat take a magazine or a mp3 player and use that time to just sit and relax. Making your own candles sounds terrific your house must smell devine!

I hate the sitting around part at the laundrymat too! I haven't had to go to one in ages, but the one thing I did like about it was that I'd get all my laundry done at once, as opposed to me dragging it out throughout the day when I'm home. And then letting the clean clothes sit in the basket for a week. lol

I started feeling like I was coming down with something last night. I stopped at the store and got some theraflu and today I feel the same but not worse so I'm taking that as a good sign. I'm kinda just lounging in bed today trying to fight it off before it gets worse. I'm just praying it's not the flu cause I don't want my baby to catch it from me. I'm wearing a mask right now to help prevent the spread of my germs.

Dh is on his way and should get to come back home tomorrow this time so that's not too bad.

Wind is howling this morning and storms are coming but they are suppose to be out of here by the afternoon. Tomorrow is one of my gd's bd party. They are having it at a park. More cake to resist, OH BOY!!

I found out last night my house was going to hold our Halloween party we have for the family next Wed. I'm excited about it. Every year we get together a few days before Halloween and make goody bags for all the kids in the family and friends kids too. There are so many of us that its hard to get the kids to everyone's house to trick or treat on Halloween night so we do it this way.

We decided everyone would bring either soups or chili. The kids get to dress up and we have games for them.

I didn't get to make candles yesterday but I did get the candle shop all cleaned and ready to go and plan on getting down there this morning for sure. I'll make up extras to give to the parents at the party. Candy corn scent!!

Not much else planned for the day, a bit of picking up, callanetics, critters, then candles.

Went to bed way too early last night and was up wide eyed at 4:30 this morning. It'll work out good because I'll have plenty of time to be done with everything by the time I leave for gd's party.

I spent 9 hours in the candle shop yesterday! It was a busy day and I enjoyed every minute of it. Got about half of my fall scents done, besides candles I made tarts, tea lites, room spray and carpet fresh. My feet and legs where screaming from being on that concrete floor all day and I was in bed by 8:00 pm,lol. Sadly I wont have another chance to get back down there until next week. Today is dg's bd party, tomorrow we have been invited to a cookout. Sometime between them I have to get groceries, our fridge is getting pretty bare.

Not much to do work wise today, house, critters and that about it, no exercise today.
