So I still never went to sleep. I have a massive headache and now I'm fully congested w/ a full on runny nose and I've sneezed about 100 times in the past couple hours. I'm trying to not let this get me down but it is.

Because I'm a habitual complainer to the point where I even annoy myself sometimes, I'm not going to talk about it anymore. I'll just pray that I can get a good nights sleep tonight and feel better tomorrow.

The good news of the day is that I woke up weighing 150. This leads me to creating a new short term goal of 145. Also, my BMI is currently 22.7.

Food for the day:

-fabulous omelet made of: garlic infused olive oil, 3 eggs, onions, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, lots of parsely and provolone cheese (plus i ate a bunch of cherry tomatoes as I was cooking this )

-some of that roasted chicken I made yesterday, eaten w/ a head of romaine hearts topped w/ lots of that french onion dip I made (with lebne) with lots of cherry tomatoes, and 2 pickles

-bowl of brussels sprouts topped w/ lots of plugra butter

I'm off to rest some more and possibly get my lazy butt up to clean my room.

Hey misslatte!

I'm feeling much better today, thank you!!

The garlic olive oil is awesome. I've seen similar products in my regular grocery store, such as garlic, chili, basil flavors infused in olive oil. I've never tried any of those so I'm not sure how good they taste. The store I purchased mine from is a health food co-op store so they sell it in bulk. I only purchased about 3/4 cup of it to try it out but I will definitely be buying more in the future. If you can't find it in your area, let me know and I can mail you some

Yaaaay...new visitor

Thanks so much for the compliment!!!

I used to go to costplus because they have so many fun things there. I would also purchase those little individual portions of nutella and lick it out of the container

And unless the chocolates are sf, PUT THEM DOWN!!! Eating one bite will only make you crave more. Give them away or toss them out. Make yourself a nice sf latte and watch a movie or talk on the phone. Keep yourself busy and re-start tomorrow. The time to make changes is NOW. Don't think I'm going to allow you to eat those chocolates when we meet up. I will seriously knock them out your hands faster than you will even be able to react. Then I'll smoosh them with my shoes so that 5 second crap won't even be applicable

I'm back!!!

So Tuesday night I was supposed to go stay at bf's house so we could wake up early to go get his U-haul to take his crap to storage. Well I felt like junk since I hadn't slept so I just stayed home which meant I had to wake up extra early to get ready and meet him at the u-haul place. So now, all his stuff in wanted in storage is in there and out of the way.

I was so exhausted though that it made it really rough. After we got back to his place, I was so beat that I took a 2 hour nap (and I rarely nap), then got up took a shower, watched tv a bit with him and we went back to bed.

Food on Wednesday:

-I made us a huge omelet w/ olive oil, onion, mushrooms, tons of cherry tomatoes, fresh parsely, provolone cheese, and 6 eggs. I ate about 2/3 of it especially since he went to McDonald's and already ate like 1000 calories before 10 am and since the rest of it he ate on a bun with lots of turkey meat so I didn't feel so bad being a piggy and eating most of it.

-My beloved Chipotle Burrito Bol w/ extra guacamole

Overall, it wasn't much food I think but I slept during the times I would have normally eaten more.

Today, we woke up both starving so we literally rolled out of bed and headed straight for food over to Panera Bread. I got a chicken ceasar salad w/o croutons that was not the greatest and it gave me a stomach ache

Then we were going to go to the farmer's market at Ferry Plaza but he needed to go buy new pants since he busted his favorite pair. My bf lifts weights a lot and he's really athletic. Well I guess he made a wrong movement with his pants on that they split down the middle. This happens to a lot of his pants so he learned how to fix them (he has a sewing machine and everything!!), but these pants have busted and been repaired so many times that they are no longer fixable. I think it's hilarious but he was sad he had to go shopping for new ones since he hates shopping. Anyways, I then headed to borders bookstore to kill time and allow my food to digest so I can go to the gym. I spent about 2 hours there then I headed to 24 hour fitness.

Exercise: 3 miles on bike, 40 minutes on elliptical (at least 3.5 miles, but I don't know exactly since the dumb distance feature on my machine wasn't working).

I left the gym to find a farmers market going on right next door at the little mall. I got so excited since I had really wanted to go to the other one but wasn't able to. I sampled some awesome nectarines and peaches and purchased some walnuts, broccoli and the cutest carrots

Food today:
-Panera chicken ceasar salad w/o croutons
-sampled nectarines and peaches at farmers market
-2 oz walnuts
-pickle
-2 hb eggs mixed with lots of roasted chicken and mayo (this didn't taste as good as it used to )

Now I'm home for the night, waiting patiently for Big Brother to come on tv.

What do you eat in your beloved Chipotle Chicken bowl? No rice or beans, I imagine. Is it the salad?

Hi Pear,

I order a Chicken burrito bol (this is their spelling of bowl, not mine ) with just chicken, lots of tomato salsa (at least 2 scoops), sour cream, cheese, lots of guacamole guacamole, and lots of lettuce (overflowing). Then I get two side cups of the green tomatillo salsa. I put salad on my lettuce, attempt to mix it all together, then with each bite I pour some of my green salsa on top. This is the proper way to eat a burrito bol

It is seriously the greatest thing ever.

mmmm Chipotle.

That's too funny about your bf's pants problem. I can see how that would get annoying, maybe he should stop wearing pants. (don't get any ideas )

Thanks girly!!

I'm already a big bum today. I need to clean up my room and pack some stuff up to take to Goodwill. I also plan on going to the gym later, as well as to the bank and to return some stuff.

Food so far:
-about a tbsp tasting of lebne while making more french onion dip
-the best omelet with garlic infused olive oil, onions, 1/2 pint of cherry tomatoes, lots of fresh parsely, 3 eggs and the best tasting goat cheese ever. YUM!!!

I need to get on with my day sooner than later.

so I didn't go to the gym cause I'm so lazy I'm really upset with myself today. I spent a large portion of the day reading fitness blogs and such, and I'm irritated because I see lots of other girls that are my height with body weights in the same range as mine, yet they don't look nearly as smooshy/jiggly. It was really rough on my self esteem. I know it's because they lift weights and have more muscle mass which leads to higher overall body weight. Overall, just a discouraging day. Not an excuse but I didn't exercise.

-2 large handfuls of cherry tomatoes and a cheese stick
-lots of roasted chicken w/ 2 sliced up hb eggs all drowned in too much mayo (I'm officially not eating this again!! I used to love this but now it's not so good)

i'm off to shower and lounge more

I've given up on looking at pictures online of women that are similar to my "stats". It is frustrating because I ALWAYS find something of my own to pick at and say it's not good enough, blah, blah, blah. Hang in there hun, we'll get there eventually!

How's the workout today?

ya, I hope so...thanks misslatte. It's really mentally straining and constantly a battle. I feel bad because I complain to my bf about this and he reminds me that he loves me and blah blah but I keep telling him I need to feel good about myself and I don't. Maybe it's selfishness? who knows.

anyways, I didn't exercise yesterday since I'm a lazy bum
I'm about to meet with a personal trainer in an hour to do our first workout since I forgot I purchased a package a year ago and it's about to expire. I really don't want to since I'm afraid she'll touch me. That's sounds funny, but I'm honestly afraid she's going to grab my fat and pry and poke?? Who knows, regardless I rarely scared/anxious to meet or interact with someone since I'm very social and friendly but this scares me because I picture her as some buff scary Jillian Michaels type woman that will yell at me and make me feel worse about myself

Then I'm meeting bf at the farmers market and possibly going to chipotle or for sushi??

Also, weight this morning was still 148

Have a great day miss latte

lalala, I was afraid of the same issues with getting a trainer but Jan, the one I picked, didn't do that at all. A couple of times while I was doing a crunch, she leaned forward and used her fingers to kind of measure the fat roll on my stomach but she didn't touch me. She was really good and not intrusive. I thanked her that so she'd get the message that I didn't want to be poked and prodded.

Quick update of food for the day before it slips my memory

-cheese stick
-coffee w/ sf creamer
-tons of fruit samples (7-8 different varieties of peaches and nectarines, 3 different varieties of pluots, figs, plum, and a couple of other things. probably 1/2 cup fruit in total)
-CHIPOTLE BURRITO BOL!!! with lots of guacamole and salsa
-a huge bowl of organic broccoli, carrots and my lovely cherry tomatoes dipped in my homemade french onion dip.

I plan on making this dish with onions, eggplant, tomatoes, mushroom and chicken later. This is why I hate working out in the mornings because all I want to do the rest of the day is EAT!!!

I gotta run but I'll update the rest later

So once I left this morning, I went to meet with my trainer that wasn't very buff. She was in good shape, but she was my height and probably my weight as well. I met with her at 10 and we did some basic paper stuff till 10:30. She asked me lots of questions, took measurements, and took my body fat with calipers. She says I'm 31.2% body fat based on a 4 point method with calipers (which is generally highly inaccurate). I know I'm squishy and jiggly but that would me that I'm only 103 lb lean body mass. Regardless, I really need to incorporate more strength training in my routine.

Interestingly enough, I've always known that I'm uncoordinated and that I lack balance, now I can add "not graceful" to that list. That's what she told me Since I have terrible posture and form.

She was very mean in a nice way. She really kicked my butt. We just did a lot of floor exercises/stretches like lunges and other stuff I don't remember the names for. My next session we'll be going into the weights area for her to show me what machines to use and proper form for it.

After the 1 hour of those exercises, I did a quick 25 minutes on the elliptical to get in some cardio. I felt bad because I thought my session with her would end at 11 and I had planned to go in early to do cardio so I made my plans with bf for around 11 to 11:15. Well, I didn't end with her until 11:30 so I didn't want to spend too much time over b/c unfortunately bf is very impatient and I really wanted to see him too!!

Left the gym, met bf, he made me happy. We spent the next hour or so at the farmers market. I ate tons of fruit, him too. It was his first time and he just kept asking me if I was sure the samples were free. I think he felt bad because we ate so much just walking around but that's how it works!! I bought lots of the cutest carrots.

We left there and of course I wanted Chipotle, he wanted Chinese. So we walked forever it seemed like to Chinatown. He didn't know what he wanted but claimed he would if he saw pictures of food. Well after walking to over 10 restaurants to browse the menus/pics I told him that he needs to start making up his mind (plus we had already walked waaay past Chipotle). he finally got his food and we walked back to Chipotle where we sat down and ate together

After that, I just ran some errands on my own and stopped off for some groceries, then I came home and I've been a bum on my floor ever since

Hi Cookins,

I'm too scared to actually tell someone not to touch me like that. Good job to you for vocalizing that.

She kinda did get in my personal space when she was grabbing my fat with the calipers but I got over it fast. Other than that she didn't touch me which felt nice.

Have you gotten good results from working with a trainer? Do you meet with her regularly?

Hi!

It sounds like the training session went well, I've been thinking about doing something like that so I can "focus" on my problem areas (aka my thighs and booty).

I was craving Chipotle something fierce yesterday. UGGHHH!!! I'm trying to save up money for a new car so I've cut out ALL eating out, unnecessary spending, etc.. I still have an 'entertainment/going out' budget but it's pretty small. I *could* go get a 'lalala bol' if I really wanted to. Yes, you now have a Chipotle item named after you.

That sucks you couldn't sleep, hopefully you can at least get a nap in this afternoon.

Have a nice Sunday!

So I'm feeling a bit better now since I took a 3.5 hour nap midday but it just majorly sucks because I feel like my day was so unproductive.

Oh well. Tomorrow is a new day.

Food so far:

-omelet made w/ garlic infused olive oil, onions, baby bella mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and 3/4 of an heirloom tomato, lots of fresh parsely, 3 eggs and lots of fresh goat cheese (maybe 2 ounces?)

-huge spoonful of nasty ass peanut butter (out of frustration from my lack of sleep I ate this b/c I felt like I deserved it it was crappy pb too w/ sugar in it)

-cheese stick

Ya I'm hoping my gut will slowly go away, but I am doing this more so I can learn about weight training and having proper form because I know it's super important.

Hahaha, a lalala bol If I were you, I'd get it because you deserve it. You've stuck to your diet, your weight is going down, and no one should deny themself of chipotle every so often.

I just made a huge pot of something...

First i roasted 2 japanese eggplants in olive oil w/ salt and pepper. I took them out after 20 min. Then I sliced a small onion and cooked slowly in a pot until translucent. Then I threw in 3 tomatoes, and a container of baby bella mushrooms. Let it simmer for a while. Then I added about 2 cups chopped chicken and 1/2 a can of tomato sauce and let it simmer longer. Next I added the eggplants and a bunch of fresh parsely, salt, pepper and garlic.

I ate about half of this concoction.

I've never actually tried eggplant but that sounds yummy! Save the other half for me!
