im back and I feel like crap unfortunately. I've consumed too much artificial sweetener today so i have a massive headache and I don't think yocheese is really working for me. I ate it yesterday for the first time and then more today for breakfast and I've had the worst stomach ache. you live you learn i guess??

sadly, I was looking forward to exercising today but I'm not feeling up to it at all.

food so far was 1 cup yocheese w/ lemon juice and equal and 1/2 cup ricotta w/ lemon juice and stevia.

I'll update more later.

I hate feeling lazy and not like myself. I think I've just had a rough week so I needed the break but I'm frustrated that I didn't exercise today.

I'll definitely be on that tomorrow after class.

As for food:
After my breakfast earlier, I had 2 persian cucumbers, 1/2 a large ribeye w/ extra fat, and 2 cheese sticks.

I'm really trying to not drink so much diet pop but that crap is addicting.

I use to love coffee w/ sf vanilla coffeemate but once I gave that up I couldn't drink coffee anymore. I need suggestions on how to make coffee taste good (as dumb as that sounds) as well as some new breakfast ideas. I am not supposed to eat eggs for the next 2 months until my next doctors appointment so that's what made me try the yocheese. I don't think I'll continue with it because of how it's made me feel today. I don't know what else to try. I love tuna and mayo but I make the effort to not eat that more than 2x/week due to mercury. What are my other options? I need something fatty in the mornings to keep me full?

I'll hopefully think of some good things after browsing posts throughout the board then I'll go shopping tomorrow.

food:
can of tongol tuna w/ lots of mayo
handful of grape tomatoes
1/2 a fatty ribeye
salad made of: lettuce, grape tomatoes, persian cucumber, lots of colby jack cheese and ranch dressing

also, my weight is unfortunately still at 153 as of this morning.

Helllllllllllllllo

I'm trying to study for my big exam I have on Monday but my internet keeps going in and out. WTH??

Anways, I will be going to bf's apartment in a bit to stay overnight. We're going to see some documentaries tonight (by bike so that's my reason for not exercising today).

Food:
2 pieces turkey bacon and 1/2 cup leftover yocheese w/ lemon juice and stevia

I'm going to be making lemon chicken w/ carmelized onions in a bit for lunch. I'll put that on top a large salad w/ lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, colby jack cheese and ranch

Don't know what food will be like for the evening but I'll update tomorrow.

Have a great weekend everyone

Yesterday was great. After I got to my bf's house, we took off to the Bicycle Film Festival which was this weekend in SF. Of course we showed up in style on our bikes like everyone else Saw some fantastic documentary short films. I ate a bag of raw almonds (1.5 oz) and a 20 oz. Diet Dr.Pepper during the films. We had to ride home at midnight so that was kinda scary (I'm one of those people that is scared to be outside when it's dark ). We got home safe and relaxed for a while and went to bed.

Today we woke up and I wanted to go out for coffee, and he wanted food. I wanted to head to the gym before I got hungry because if I eat, I usually have to wait at least 3 hours before I can exercise or I feel sick. So we compromised I ate a very small "meal" which was 2/3 of a 140 calorie chicken patty thingy (it was all natural Amylu brand, chicken patty w/ bell pepper pieces and gouda cheese) so we could spend some more time together and go to a place where we could get breakfast and coffee. So we ended up going to Panera Bread. I walked there, while he rode his bike b/c we were going to part from there. It's only 1/2 a mile so it was close but it was so warm in SF today that by the time we got there I didn't want hot coffee anymore I got a diet coke, he got his breakfast ciabatta sandwich and orange juice and we were both happy. We talked for a while and people watched and then we took off our separate ways.

I took the train downtown to the gym. Although I only ate a small amount and it was already 2 hours later, I still felt sick while I exercised. I did 50 minutes on the elliptical, which was at least 3.5 miles but I'm unsure of the exact distance b/c that function on this specific machine wasn't working and then I cooled down with a mile on the treadmill.

I came home and made some crackslaw type stuff (ground beef, onions, sesame oil, lots of cabbage, and wheat free soy sauce, red chili powder, and garlic). I ate and I should have been studying all day but I haven't been at all. I've totally been wasting time online all day and that sucks for me considering my test is Monday morning I really need to study tomorrow so if I'm online and you see me, please scold me

Todays Food:
2/3 Chicken patty thingy
persian cucumber
handful grape tomatoes
crackslaw
cheese stick
persian cucumber
handful grape tomatoes
crackslaw

(I'm clearly a creature of habit!)

Studying is not going so well today NOT good.

I just made myself an extremely large breakfast so I don't get hungry for a while in an effort to focus on studying. I ate and have been on LCF since

Food so far has been:
several large spoonfuls of yocheese
2 turkey bacon slices
omelet made of 3 egg whites and 1 whole egg topped with lots of colby jack cheese cooked in olive oil (although I wasn't supposed to eat eggs I caved obviously. I tried to reduce the amount of cholesterol I was consuming by using only the whites so at least I put forth some type of effort).

Have a great day and please enjoy it some for me since I won't be having a fun day

I NEED TO STUDY.

So studying has sucked all day today. I have seriously gotten very little done just because I'm dumb like that I have a bad habit of procrastinating big time and then cramming for a good 10-12 hours before the exam. The thing is that I'm not even scared about this exam at all. I kinda don't care much and I know that's terrible. It's a cellular biology course and since I've been everything from a Biology to Chemistry to a current Biochemisty major I feel like I have a good grasp of the basics. I'm at the point where getting an "A" is no longer a top priority but I have no excuse to not get an A considering this class is all I'm doing this summer

Anyways, food has SUCKED today. I was stress eating to avoid studying and because I'm not used to that, I got sick and some of it came out quickly.

So after I ate that breakfast, I had
persian cucumber, cheese stick
handful of cherry tomatoes
large large bowl of crackslaw (ground beef, cabbage, onions etc..)
~1.5 C of yocheese w/ 1/4c lemon juice and 7 (SEVEN!!) packets of equal

I got sick shortly after eating this, and have only been able to drink water since. I won't be eating anything else for the night. Hopefully my life will return to "good" again after this dumb exam tomorrow. School sucks!!!

also, I have about 1/4 cup of yocheese left and I will NEVER be buying it again. In the off chance that I want some yogurt I'll just go buy a tub of Fage and eat it and be done with it. It's too easy to overeat for me so I don't like to keep it around.

Also, I weighed in this morning and I'm officially stuck at 153. UGHHHH.

152!!!

It was great seeing a lower number this morning, although I question its staying power due to my sickness from yesterday. We shall see.

Anyways, I need to study still. Exam in about 2 hours so I'll be back this evening to update on the day.

Have a good day everyone!

Exam....done

I think I did well. Whatever, as I said before I'm kind of careless at this point.

I am very tired though because I did wake up at 6:30 to cram and I stayed up pretty late studying as well. I loaded up on caffeine afterwards so I'll probably be crashing sooner than later.

I went for a short walk and then stopped off at the library to pick up a new novel to read and then to the grocery store. I purchased 2 bags of salad, 1.5 lbs heirloom tomatoes, an avocado, provalone cheese, creamer, ground turkey (for chili), and some sf drinks.

No exercise today but definitely will do something tomorrow.

Food:
packet of tuna (it was a mesquite albacore filet...very dry and hard to swallow)
cheese stick
coffee w/ cream
huge salad made of butter lettuce, grape tomatoes, persian cucumber, too much colby jack cheese () onions, chicken, and a different brand of ranch dressing (I normally use Marie's and I just purchased Lighthouse and I don't think I like it but now I'm stuck w/ 2 because it was B1G1 ughhhhh)

I'm stuffed right now since I just got done eating. If I get hungry later I have more crackslaw stuff that needs to get eaten.

PICTURES!!!

Ok so when I was at my bf's house this weekend I forgot to have him take pics of me. Yesterday morning was trying to figure out how I could take pics of myself with my but the dumb flash prevents anything from being seen in the mirror. So I'm settling w/ some mediocre body shots taken with my cell phone haha.

On another note, while at my bf's house we both realized that since I've lost weight, I now have no butt...that needs to be worked on asap!!! My body type is very 'apple' I have wide hips and I carry all my weight in my stomach as I have relatively thinner legs. My chest is also very large (36D) so I feel my body is very middle heavy. I don't like it but I'm working to fix it and that's all I can strive to do is, well, fix it.

Lastly and a bit of a disclaimer...sorry if you catch a glimpse of my overexposed flat but and, dang I should've cleaned both my bathroom mirror and my room better before I snapped these!! And it's tough taking pics of your own body. I mean, I felt like my arm was in the way the entire time so I had to either hold it up or out. I felt like a weirdo

Awww man, it sucks when I have to go searching for my journal

I had an ok day. I was running late this morning because I was searching online to buy a pair of shoes and I lost track of time and before I knew it, it was 30 min until my class starts. I still hadn't even brushed my teeth or gotten dress, nor had I eaten anything yet and I live 20 min from school. So I threw on my gym clothes, ran into the kitchen and grabbed a handful of cherry tomatoes and 1/4 of an avocado and a cheese stick. Then I ran out the door for my life and power walked to school. I got there a minute before class started

After class I went to the gym, did 5.5 miles on the treadmill and went home to change. By this time I was starving for a real meal, and since I didn't have anything to eat at home I decided it was the best time to go to Chipotle. So I took the train there, got my food, ate, then went to the mall. I hate shopping so I got out of there quickly and returned home. I just took a nice bath and now I'm relaxing a bit before I get to bed.

Food:
1/4 avocado, handful of grape tomatoes, 3/4 of a cheese stick
coffee w/ cream
2 oz almonds
Chipotle burrito bol (chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese sour cream, mild salsa (lots!!) and topped off with lots of guacamole)
persian cucumber w/ salt

I think I'm going to try going to the gym in the morning before I have class but lately I feel like I need more sleep than normal so I don't know how well that is going to work but I think I'll try it for tomorrow.

So I set my alarm for 6:50 this morning to get up and go to the gym before class. Well, I got up and decided I was too hungry to workout at that time, and I'd just go later on in the day. Sadly, I was not able to go back to sleep so I've been awake since

I'm about to get up and have some coffee w/ cream. Then I need to eat and get ready to go to school. After school I'm going on a San Francisco city search for this pair of shoes that I want, and I pray it won't take all day.

I really want in n out also, so I may go there later on.

Food:
will be...coffee w/ cream
turkey burger patty w/ a slice of provolone, heirloom tomato slices, and avocado
rest is tbd.

have a great day everyone!

My post is going to be quick because I'm about to start watching a movie

So I didn't go to the gym today but I did go out walking outside in this cold weather we're experiencing this week in SF. I was seriously freezing. Then I spent close to 2 hours shopping trying to find a dress to wear to that wedding in less than a couple weeks...unsuccessful!!

Food:
-coffee w/ cream
-turkey burger patty, provolone cheese, lots of tomato slices, avocado
-persian cucumber
-bowl of brussel sprouts topped w/ lots of plugra butter
-large bowl of turkey chili topped with colby jack cheese (I made this with olive oil, an onion, ground turkey, crimini mushrooms, fire roasted tomatoes, cocoa powder and other spices)
-persian cucumber and a cheese stick

I feel so full right now but in case I do get hungry later, I have some turkey bacon left that I'd like to finish and be done with.

Ok i'm off to watch this movie

I know, I was concerned about you. I wanted to pm you but I saw you hadn't logged on since the 17th

I hope you're doing well also, and that you've been good busy and not bad busy

I've been a bum today. I ditched class and i've been watching movies and tv. Although I am about to go to the gym in a bit, I'm disappointed that I've seriously been this lazy.

I'll be back later to update more.

bahhhh. ... I have a terrible stomach ache. Why? because I thought I could be normal again and buy gum completely bypassing my own knowledge of my gum addiction (sad but true ) and I ate 7 pieces so I'm beyond bloated and I feel gross now. I hate it when I feel like I lack control.

Food today:
-1.5 cups coffee w/ cream
-turkey burger patty, provolone cheese, mayo, tomato slices, avocado
-.5 cup coffee w/ cream
-bowl of brussel sprouts topped w/ lots of plugra butter
-bowl of turkey chili I made yesterday and topped w/ colby jack cheese
-persian cucumber
-2 oz of raw almonds

Exercise:
4 miles on elliptical, 2 miles on treadmill

Hopefully I'll have a better day tomorrow

Ya, well, 7 pieces turned into 14 pieces which is why I was up till 5 am with a tummy ache Never doing that again.

And ya, I got my exam back...96 woo woo.. I felt content with my grade in the class since I got a 98 on the first exam which is why I see no problem in ditching the class once a week

I hope you're doing good misslatte, I missed having someone to talk to in here

Not having the greatest day. A lot of sad things are going on in my family right now so I'm praying everyone will be ok.

No exercise unfortunately. I haven't left the house all day

Food:
tin of tuna w/ lots of mayo, a slice of tomato and 1/4 of an avocado
2 cucumbers and an heirloom tomato with tons of salt
cheese stick
will probably have a big bowl of turkey chili and top it with lots of colby jack cheese.

Awww man nuzzles, you scared me. Actually if you would have seen the whole picture, you would have been scared. I'm sure the mods would have eventually found it and deleted it but I panicked when I saw it posted.

I hope both of you girls have had a great weekend. I did.

Saturday I got up and got ready and went to a friends house to help set up for her husbands surprise 30th b-day party. Then we partied all day and I had a wonderful time. My boyfriend was there in addition to a lot of friends I haven't seen in a while so it was really nice. After I left there, I went straight to my boyfriends house and I didn't leave there til this morning

Food was all on plan all weekend of course. I was dying for either some chipotle or in n out all weekend. Saturday when I left the party a friend and I were heading to chipotle when I found out they were closed (at 6:45 they close early on Saturday's here in SF). And I didn't want to go near in n out this weekend because it's in the main tourist area of the city and everyone and their mama was in town due to the SF Marathon and all the other little side races that go with that. I will definitely be going there tomorrow though since I'm skipping class because I have a doctors appt and I'm getting bloodwork done so I'll need to eat shortly after.

I also made it to the gym yesterday and I did 5 miles on the elliptical plus some crunches. Today I only did 4 miles on the treadmill because I was starving. I couldn't wait any longer to come home and eat.

Food today so far has been:
-3 small turkey breakfast sausages and a colby jack cheese stick
-some spoon licks of PB (I was making my bf oatmeal w/ pb and I licked the spoon after I dropped the pb in it )
-large handful of walnuts
-persian cucumber and a handful of grape tomatoes
-my own rendition of a burrito bol - lettuce, grape tomatoes, colby jack cheese, onions, chicken cooked in lemon juice and chipotle salsa, lots of guacamole and topped off with lime juice ----not even nearly as good as the real thing!!

I'm stuffed right now, but I'll probably eat something in a couple hours just to fully fill myself up since I have to fast and I don't want to get hungry. I also purchased lots of almonds to eat after I have my blood drawn to make sure I don't get dizzy due to lack of food and fall again

Lastly, since I haven't been home I wasn't able to weigh myself but overall I feel smaller so that was really nice. So many people complimented me at the party I felt amazing and my boyfriend was very proud too

Have a great remainder of the day

Add: 1.5 handfuls of raw almonds to my food for today. I needed to just eat something else in order to feel really full and now I do so my fasting is officially beginning now

I did have a fabulous weekend Misslatte, why was yours so bad?
And I'll be changing my avatar soon, I swear!

Changing!!! I missed seeing your adorable puppy in here
I'm doing well, I had an appointment this morning to get some more tests done to get more accurate results so I'll find out the results in a couple weeks when my specialist contacts me to give me the results and his recommendations to try before our next appointment at the end of August. Besides that I feel great, thank you for asking. Except my blood pressure is very low: 92/52. Normal is 120/80. Makes sense why I crave tons of salt on everything

Unfortunately, I didn't take starting pictures. I wish I would have so I could see how far I've come in my moments of weakness when I still feel like a fat blob. I'm still very unhappy with my body. I feel like I need to lose at least 15 more pounds to start looking "skinny". Having that mentality isn't healthy which is why I didn't want to set a long term goal, only short ones but basically I still have lots more to lose.

So today I weighed in and I'm still at 152 I'm losing way to slowly these days but I must say I have to be happy that I'm not gaining!

I went to my appointment, waited forever then got in and out. I took the bus to Ross to take a look at some dresses for the wedding I need to attend this weekend and I found a few to try on but I looked terrible in all of them so I didn't buy any I did get a cute hat though

Then I went to this food co-op that I LOVE. I got some fun stuff like:

-organic local sungold grape tomatoes (green, orange, yellow and red) these are beautiful and I'll be eating them tonight
-raw locally made sauerkraut (never had this before, so I only purchased a bit and I'm glad I did b/c I didn't like it)
-raw locally made dill pickles (YUM!! right after I paid for these I opened the container and ate one and they are so good...I love pickles)
-cold pressed garlic infused olive oil
-Lima sea salt (from Peru)
-Australian pink himalayan sea salt (this stuff was $28/lb, so I only got a small scoop of it...hopefully it tastes good).

I love this store, although things are pretty expensive, it's mostly local foods and they have a huge bulk section. I think I spent about 1.5 hours in there

No exercise today. Will get a good workout in tomorrow.

Food:
-3-4 large handfuls of almonds after blood draw
-cheese cube sample at food co-op
-about 1 tbsp cashew butter at food co-op ( I don't allow myself to buy this because it is like crack to me. The taste is unbelievable. Last time I got 1/2 a lb and ate it all for dinner straight from the container. Therefore, I'm no longer allowed to purchase it!)
-large pickle
-spoonful of sauerkraut
-In n Out double double protein style animal style, no sauce <--I inhaled this. OMG yum!!!

I'll probably have a bunch of cucumbers and grape tomatoes later and maybe some turkey bacon. I have lots of food I need to eat before I go out of town on Thursday so that's the plan
