Thanks misslatte. I did drink tons yesterday and not only did I still feel bloated but I was also still hungry and craving diet pop
Food wise it was not a fun day. I ended up falling asleep on my floor at like 12:30 and I woke up at 4 am and couldn't fall back asleep until 6:45. That sucks ![]() BF is doing well thanks. His dad bought him a baby baby puppy. I think she's only like 2 and 1/2 months old now and she's driving him nuts cause she pees everywhere he sent me pics and she's so cute but he said she is crazy b/c she just has so much energy so she's bouncing off everything and peeing all over the place. hahah. I just ate a huge breakfast. i needed to get my appetite under control and I needed to be full. Mission was accomplished for now. I had: -mushrooms w/ ranch dip -huge omelet made w/ olive oil, onion, 3 vine tomatoes, about 1 cup mushroom pieces, diced red pepper, fresh parsely, 3 eggs, 1.5 - 2 oz goat cheese, and 1/2 an avocado. -1 cup greek yogurt w/ lemon juice and stevia It was really good and I'm finally full thankfully. I have to head off to school in a bit. I'll update more later. Have a good day!

pickle large bowl of broccoli and red pepper strips dipped in ranch some more avocado w/ salt 2.5 cups of kefir with stevia ok I really overdid it with the carbs today in the form of dairy (cottage cheese, yogurt and kefir). I also think these may be the darn culprit for my increased hunger only because I added in way too much of it at once. My solution was to finish them off Thats why I had a crapload of kefir in one sitting and that stuff makes me sooooooooooooooo bloated so I'm sitting here in my stretch sweat pants ready for what'll be happening in my tummy shortly. I need to get myself some control ![]() I've been eating like a baby hippo lately, hence the new avatar. I will be 'normal' again tomorrow. I'm tired of getting frustrated with myself. |

Quick update before I need to run off to school
![]() weight this morning was 145 on new scale. i double checked my weight w/ my roommates scale and it was the same. For some reason I am not believing this b/c I feel really really bloated right now (tom is here too) so it may all be in my head. I don't know but I just don't feel 'light' anymore and it's really getting to me. I had a mini-breakdown yesterday since I felt like I had gained 10 pounds but I couldn't validate that since I didn't have a scale. I told bf this and he told me that if the worst problem I have is not having a scale or knowing my weight then I should be sitting here counting my blessings I know it sounds crazy but like I said, this stuff really gets to my head. Food so far: -3 eggs w/ mayo (not even really hungry but I have to eat before I head to school cause I won't be able to eat for another 6-7 hours) I'm thinking I may go to chipotle later ![]() have a good day everyone!! |

Yes, I went to chipotle. Yum!!
Got my usual burrito bol w/ chicken, tons of tomato salsa, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, and loads of lettuce w/ 2 sides of green tomatillo salsa. There was a new chick there that was making it for me and she had the nerve to say 'you know we have salads right?' I was like 'ummm ya, i'm here like everyday and this is what i always get so, thanks for the suggestion' ![]() I felt bad cause I am like mega b itch this week. Tom has never ever had this type of effect on me. I actually think it's a compilation of (1) tom (2) over consumption of dairy carbs (kefir, yogurt and cottage cheese) (3) not having a scale for what felt like forever (4) loneliness cause of bf being gone ![]() Anyways, I just ate my last cup of 4% cottage cheese from the container. So in like 3 days I finished off a container w/ 4 cups kefir, 2 cups yogurt and 4 cups cottage cheese and I wonder why I'm feeling 'heavy'. Not only will I not be buying these items again for a while, but when I do I'll be purchasing single serving portions because I clearly have overeating issues when it comes to this type of stuff. I have a big report due monday so I'll be working on that all weekend. Plus my foot is feeling normal again so hopefully I can get my butt into the gym for the first time in like 3 weeks. Other than that, I'm in the process of finishing up season 1 of True Blood. I'm addicted now ![]() Everyone have a great night and a wonderful weekend. I'll try to do the same ![]() |

Crapola day!!!
only because i've been inside trying to get some work done and it's gorgeous out and i've gotten barely anything done. I'm going to get up and go to a store in a bit to get some meat since I have none. I'm also low on veggies but i'm going out of town for work on Wednesday and I'll be gone til Sunday night so I don't want to buy any produce before I leave. I am really in the mood for a hot dog for some reason? ![]() Food so far: -coffee w/ sf creamer -Omelet (Pic attached): olive oil, onions, mushrooms, tomato, spinach, red bell pepper, parsely, 3 eggs, fresh goat cheese, avocado -an egg w/ mayo -cheese stick -2 pickles -red bell pepper strips w/ ranch |

Thanks misslatte!
It was so windy outside today it was crazy. I felt like the wind was going to take me away (and I'm having a 'fat' day too so you know it was a heavy wind). I went to trader joes and got some ground beef, mayo, hebrews national beef hot dogs, some organic green beans and more eggs ![]() I sliced up 2 hot dogs and cooked them in a pan to get them grilled a bit and ate those. Ya...they weren't as good as I wanted them to be but they were ok. Maybe next time I'll dip them in mayo or something? I also made 'ugly green beans' from a recipe I saw on here. They turned out really really good and I ate half of the 1 lb bag. The only thing is that they took a bit over 1.5 hours to get ugly and I'm so impatient with food that I probably won't be making these again cause I can't wait that long ![]() I neeeeeeeeeeeed to get work doneeeeeeeeee!! Have a good night everyone! |

hahah I just came in to say that I DON'T like hot dogs/sausages and those types of things. Every time after I eat them I'm reminded of why I don't eat them. I got terrible headaches from the hot dogs last night. I think it may be due to the processing of it and the nitrates since I"m not used to it and I don't consume them often. I was actually going to dip mine in mustard but all I had was dijon mustard and the flavor is too strong for my palate so I passed on it and just ate them plain. I'll stick the package in the freezer and only eat them in the event of an emergency (ie. NO food). But I won't be buying them again.
And seriously try the green beans. There is only 5 g carbs/serving but 3 of those are fiber. I ate half of a 1 lb bag which had a total of 5 servings, so probably 12 carbs total subtracting fiber. They kinda reminded me of chips cause I just kept throwing them in my mouth. Had I made the whole bag at once, I probably would've eaten the whole thing so it was a good thing I didn't ![]() I have TONS of work to do today. I lazy butt got barely ANYTHING done yesterday so I am isolating myself from the world by staying in my room all day to work on this huge report I have due tomorrow. Then I need to start studying for an exam I have on Wed morning, and try to pack some stuff for Vegas since I'm leaving right after class on Wednesday. This morning I weighed in at 144!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Im not changing my stats until I can confirm it again tomorrow. Only because this is on my new scale and I don't know if I trust it, even though I've calibrated it. I don't like change when it comes to these things so it'll take time before I can fully rely on the output values it's giving me. Anyways food so far has been: -iced coffee w/ sf vanilla creamer -1/3 lb beef patty topped w/ 1 slice provolone cheese and 2 fried eggs in it's grease yum!I'll update more later as the day goes on! Have a nice day everyone! |

Another loooooooooong day. I finished my report and got to bed at around 2 am last night so not too bad.
I was at school all day, then I went to the gym and did 9 easy miles on the bike, plus a couple of arm exercises. Food so far: -iced coffee w/ sf vanilla creamer -3 eggs w/ 3-4 tbsp mayo -1.5 oz pecans -1.5 oz walnuts misslatte: i made a mistake in my carb count calculations regarding the ugly green beans. a whole bag (tj's organic 1 lb bag) has a total of 25 carbs and 15 of those are from fiber. I meant to say half the bag is about 12 carbs total NOT subtracting fiber I just re-read what you quoted and I wanted to correct that. And they are good. You should try them ![]() I will update more later ![]() |

I just made a nice meal for myself and I'm feeling so much better. I got so hungry like in an instant so was trying to hurry up and cook my food.
I made another set of ugly green beans with half of whatever was left in the bag. I left some so I can make them tomorrow night too ![]() First I cut a large pretty bell pepper in half and put it in the oven at 350 for 15 min to soften. Then I fried some onions and added 2/3 lb ground beef and a ton of mushrooms. Browned that, added red chili pepper, oregano, garlic salt, more garlic, and pepper. Then I added about 2/3 a can of tomato sauce and let it all simmer. Lastly I added in a handful of fresh parsely. I put some provolone cheese on the bottom of each bell pepper and then filled it with the meat mixture, then topped it with more provolone and broiled it for about 12 min. I ate one of the bell pepper halves with the green beans and it so hit the spot. I have to go study now since I have an exam on Wednesday and I won't be home for like half the day tomorrow. I need to use my time efficiently ![]() |

Thanks Chicky!!
I just got home not too long ago. I have soooooooooo much to do for tomorrow. I haven't even begun to study and I'm heading towards panic mode. I had to go downtown this morning to return some stuff and buy a couple cute things for Vegas. I went to Forever 21 for some like cheapy club clothes. I was so excited when I tried on the size 29 pants and they fit!! I've been wearing the 30's and they were too big so now I'm so glad to be able to go down to a bit of a lower size. I got 5 things for like $50!! Awesome! I also went to the gym and did 10 miles on the RPM exercise bike. I call that my lazy workout b/c very little effort is exerted doing that machine. Food update: -persian cucumber w/ salt -stuffed bell pepper (the other one from yesterday) -the rest of the green beans cooked till they were ugly ![]() I am home now for the rest of the day and I NEED TO STUDY!! Have a great day everyone! EDIT: the green beans burned so bad they were inedible. I substituted another cucumber w/ salt. Last edited by lalala; 10-06-2009 at 06:21 PM.. |

Ok finally....
yesterday was such a hectic day. I had to wake up super early and get to school (after having slept only like 10 hours in the past 4 days prior to that), then I was at school all day. I left to go to the grocery store to get food cause I had NONE, then I came back home to cook and eat and I went back to school and I was there til almost midnight I've never stayed there that late. Anyways, quick Vegas overview. Since I was there for work, I had to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday all day (starting at 8 am and ending at 7pm on Thurs and 11:30 pm on Fri and Sat) so that clearly consumed so much of my time. When I wasn't working, I was gambling away my hard earned money. I'm usually a really really good gambler but I had consistent losses this weekend. I was on the worst losing streak ever and it sucked. I lost lots of my own money then my sisters bf was giving me his money and I lost his too Total it was about $200 so not that bad but it hurt my pride since I'm normally the big winner. Food wise it was rough b/c of the work situation. Each day I started with a huge coffee w/ half and half and usually drank a couple more cups throughout the day. I was drinking craploads of diet coke and since they give us free gum...well, I went psychotic with that as well. I thought my jaw was going to fall off with the amount of gum I was chewing. I did make the best food choices possible given the situation. I stuck to chicken caesar salads or chicken taco salad type things. I even searched for a chipotle on the strip and found one and freaking walked forever to buy 5 burrito bols for me and some of my co-workers Besides that I snacked on lots of cheese sticks and little bags of roasted and salted peanuts because they provided those amongst the cake, cookies, granola bars, muffins, chips and crackers which I happily avoided ![]() Now I'm trying to get into a normal routine again. I have so much work to do for 8 am tomorrow morning that I'm freaking out a bit. I will probably be up very very late tonight so I need to minimize my time on here today. I'll come back later to update food and such. Til then, have a great day!! it's raining cats and dogs here in SF so I refuse to go to class today since I want to stay in to keep warm ![]() |

ooh. one thing I totally forgot to mention....when I weighed myself yesterday morning my weight was at 142.
![]() ![]() Although I ate a lot this weekend (all on plan!!) I was running around all over the place so my activity level was high. Well, when I woke up this morning I weighed in at: 140 I double checked it on my roommates scale as well and it was consistent. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I don't know what weight my body will settle at but I set my next short term goal for 138 for now. ![]() food so far today: -coffee w/ sf vanilla creamer -3 eggs w/ lots of mayo |
