Today is Wednesday aka MY FRIDAY! it'll be nice having a few days off!

weighed in today 213.4, less than last Friday so i'll take it. i think its going to be slow going scale wise but thats ok. im in no hurry, just need to see some kind of loss and most importantly not continue to gain! we're going to a golf course tonight for a huge fireworks party, they are roasting a pig having food and drinks and kids games. it'll be a great time. going grocery shopping before the party. Baking Carters cake tomorrow and then Friday i will ice it. its a flag cake, a barefoot contessa recipe. its going to be so delicious and i wont be able to have any of it. oh well. maybe i will freeze a piece to have in a few weeks when we go on our mini vacation to KC to the schlitterbahn water park.

i've already got the bathrooms cleaned for the party now just need to vacuum the carpets and sweep and swiffer the kitchen floors, wipe the kitchen counters and do some dusting. i bought some smell goods aka plug ins a candles so the house smells nice. the party is going to be a great time!

Hey ladies! well sadly I could NOT resist the flag cake i made, then my minds switch flipped and while i mostly ate low carb i did allow myself sugary snacks here and there and had a piece of cake each day. I just don't know what to do with myself. GRRR. Wish i could wire my mouth shut! Here are some pics of the party, we really had a great time!!!

Hi Deb! So good to hear from you!

I dunno if low carb WOE is going to be right for me. I just can't seem to find my mojo again that i had for most of last year. its very frustrating. I know a huge part of the problem is that I cannot workout right now, thanks to my knee. I'm going to try the elliptical again this weekend and hopefully two days later I'll be able to walk. Another part is just me. I can't seem to get into the right mind frame and my willpower is very weak right now. its like a muscle and i badly need to exercise it.

Hey Lexi! Haven't been on here in a few weeks, but just wanted to encourage you. I know the knee injury is frustrating bc you were doing really well with exercise. Be kind to yourself as you do what you can right now.

I can totally relate to the willpower thing. It's been super hard for me to give a you-know-what recently bc the stress of moving has kinda made me function on autopilot. We're finally getting our household stuff Wednesday, so I plan on joining Planet Fitness bc its like 1.5 miles away. I need to do something to get my rear in gear.

Happy belated bday to Carter!

moving would be make it so tough to stick to a plan. glad you are finally moved and congrats on finding work so quickly. I've heard good things about planet fitness!!

Ok so yesterday I ate within an eating window. I was going to do noon-8 but instead waited til 1 and decided to be done at 7. we normally eat dinner early so this was pretty easy for me. I didn't track what i ate instead just focused on eating smaller portions. I really need to just work on that. Tracking does no good if you aren't accurately reporting what you are eating. I got on the scale this morning. 215. im ok with that! i'm going to try and wait almost 2 weeks before weighing again. I'm stepping away from the obsessive tracking and weighing and just going to try and trust myself. I'll stick to my eating window of 8 hours or less on most days and really try to make smart choices.

my losses should be small but steady thats why its important i dont weigh daily. i think i'll give myself a goal of being under 210 by august. thats a little over 3 weeks.

I just started using an eating window too! My goal is to do it 5 days a week and then ease up on the weekends. As you said, losses will be slow, but any downward trend is good, right?

Yea i'm going to try and do it most days but if i have a day or two here and there that i don't make it i wont sweat it.

Back to 213 today! so much for not getting on the scale. I did however not track on my calorie tracker app, just going with my gut and eating within my 8 hour window. we have dinner out tonight think i'll plan to eat mostly low carb and maybe have a glass of wine or two, we'll see.

i am hungry and cannot eat til 12:30-1ish i'll be glad when i get used to this. less calories in = weight loss. its easy!

Good going Lexi! I'm in the middle of my fast as well. Drink lots of black coffee, water & green tea(no sugar!). The thing that helps me the most is having a TB of coconut oil in my 2nd cup of coffee about 7:30AM. Some say since it is pure fat that it doesn't break the fast. Some disagree. I'm banking on it's supposed fat burning qualities to help me along. So far, so good! One week of IF with a blow out weekend in the middle and I'm down 1 lb. I'll take it!

i can only do one cup of coffee otherwise i get the jitters. i do use a tiny bit of creamer, the coffee here at work is too nasty to drink black. seems to be ok to do that so i will continue to do that.

congrats on being down 1 lb with your huge weekend!!

yea dinner will be yummy. i have dinners the next 4 nights lol.

back up to 215 today, grrrr

i love being social and not just sitting around the house but it can wreak havoc. i need to be better at balancing my diet and being social. not saying i completely binged or anything but i must have eaten too much or the scale wouldn't be so bouncy.

Hi! missed a few days on here. weighed yesterday, 217... not feeling that at all. joining a new gym and going to give water aerobics, pilates and zumba a try. i have to start burning some cals again. the only one im worried about is the zumba, i'll have to be careful with my knee.

taking the kids on a mini vacation this weekend so i know the scale wont be nice next week. will just have to push through. i have to stop the gain and get the scale to go back the other way. i can feel it on my body and see it in my pictures. its depressing.

not the most positive post but i still have hope and am far from giving up.

now i can physically see the gain in the mirror (not just on the scale). I've got some motivation back for exercise. looking forward to starting that again monday

Wow we had an amazing weekend! So much fun!

so joining the prairie life fitness near my house later. going to take the 5:30 zumba class. Hope my knee bodes well. getting groceries first then going to the gym. hubby is making dinner and picking up both kids.

back on plan today. aiming for 1200 cals. not planning to eat back my cals burnt during exercise during the week but will allow myself to on the weekends.

my phone isn't working so apple is going to replace it but i have to take my phone in before they'll order the new one so i'll be without a phone for a day or so which will be weird but i'll have my ipad so i can text other iphone users at least when i have wifi.

well thats about it for now. didn't weigh today because its not entirely accurate after the weekend etc. i'll weigh in friday after a few days of workouts and good eating.
