Didn't weigh as the food was plenty and drinks were flowing. im sure im up and bloated. fasting today so i might hop on tomorrow or just wait til friday. probably should just wait. doesnt matter what the scale says really.

i played a really good game of golf yesterday it was fun but between that and saturdays elliptical my knee is all messed up again

pretty tired from the weekend, is it friday yet? haha!

Probably a good idea to wait on the weigh in. No sense getting yourself stressed over a silly number! Sorry your knee is messed up from your weekend activity.

I'm tired from the weekend too as I walked 18 holes of golf both Saturday & Sunday! Whew! I have to come back to work to rest!

G I Jane arm workout at boot camp this morning. I probably won't be able to raise my arms tomorrow!

Yay fast day monday is over! lol Got up early and made a marinade for my flank steak to make carne asada. It has fresh lime and orange juice, garlic, jalapeno, spices and oil. YUM. its going to be delish!

didn't weigh today. might just wait til Friday and hope and pray i have a loss! have nothing else going on the work week except a game tomorrow night for my daughters softball. This sat we're celebrating my nephews first birthday and sunday we have a softball tournament. next weekend will be better since we have nothing planned except friday night going to a vineyard for BBQ and wine outside with live music! That'll be fun!

Lexi checking in on dinner!!! I have not golfed since last year first drive amazing all over the place the next 17 holes LOL I have moments of greatness and then I cant hit that damn ball I need to play more! I used to play in a ladies league and that was so great because it got me playing regularly! I hate how Tony doesnt play and can just pick up and whack it ughghg!! It is the most frustrating sport but I love it!

Dinner was amazing, the hubby really liked it too!!

yea i was pretty inconsistent, practice is key and some lessons too. maybe when we retire lol

still didn't weigh today. would like to just get in the habit of weighing on fridays and then marking it down. i think it helps me be less crazy, lol i dunno.

making a shrimp Parmesan linguine with peas for dinner. using whole wheat noodles YUM! then we have a late 8:30 game for my daughter UGH! hate those late games!

paid bills today, that always sucks. can't wait to have a few things paid off here within the next 2-3 months. that will feel GREAT and free up more money. more money to save for our vacation too which by the way i've changed my mind about again HAHA im so indecisive. I am reconsidering Mexico. There are a few things i can do to try and prevent illness for example taking probiotics a few weeks before we go and avoid raw veggies, unpeeled fruits and water, DUH. I will def bring cipro with me just in case! it just seems we'd get more bang for our buck in mexico than we would in bahamas. we can afford to stay in some very Luxurious resorts so im looking into those more. just have to pick the right one and still deciding between cancun, puerto morelos (which is near cancun) and playa del carmen. lol im such a spaz!

so i got on the dreaded scale this morning. saw 216. im up 3 lbs from last friday. it was from my weekend! I am considering going back to low carb (never thought i would) but i'd do it differently. id keep track of my calories and chill out on the cheese, cream, whipped cream etc. i dunno... a few weeks trying it couldnt hurt. it will be hard around the 4th of july etc but thats ok. just focus on eating healthy and fresh and making smart choices.

so i rearranged my nutritional goals to accommodate low carb. of course today, the day i start, aunt flo is here grrr. can't wait to get rid of this bloat. im excited. im doing low carb differently than i have in the past. before i never calorie counted so im giving that a shot this time around and tracking everything i eat. that should make a difference i think. im aiming for between 20-30 grams of carbs, 1600 cals or less, high protein and moderate to high fat. we'll see how this goes.

obviously im looking forward to the inital weight loss that happens when you start a low carb diet but most importantly for me i need something that i can stick to on the weekends. since i've been calorie counting for so long I think i should be able to stick to low carb a little bit easier, to start out with anyway. im desperate to not put anymore weight on and start losing it again.

Happy Thursday, I am feeling better, still feel the headache a little but not nearly as bad. Glad its Thursday, so close to the weekend!

Went to Whole foods yesterday, OMG, Low carbing is so much easier this time around because I have so much stuff available to me that I didnt have before. I bought this uber healthy coconut peanut butter spread OMG so good. i'll have to be careful with that one. And some parmesan cheese crisps and some almond cookies that are 7 grams carbs 1 gram fiber. I put those in the freeze for only when i really am craving a cookie. I love that whole foods is so close. on those days that i really have a craving for something i haven't had in awhile they pretty much have everything there that can serve as subsitute without as many carbs. like these beanitos, they are black bean chips, i'd eat them with guac or as chips and salsa! And the Almond milk Ice cream, I'd have to get the no sugar added variety which is still like 15 grams of carbs but with 5 grams of fiber it really can't be beat for "ice cream" lol.

i'm excited to have that available to me if/when i need it!

well not much planned for this weekend, sunday we are going to the pool and having dinner for grandma, i'm bringing my mio and will order vodka waters and chill by the pool then have a yummy/healthy low carb dinner!

Hi lori!! I am the queen of water consumption, i don't go anywhere without water by me. I'll have this liter finished by 9 lol. I usually drink 2-3 liters while at work then i always have water at home and by my nightstand lol

Whoo-hoo, scale is going back down! I didn't weigh in Monday but i'll bet i was bloated all the way up to 220! glad to see 213 this morning. shooting for 211 next week.

still am feeling the atkins flu a bit, headaches and what not, but that tells me what im doing is working so there ya go!

i stuck to plan this weekend stayed at 213 each day, didn't weigh this morning. might check tomorrow.

Weighed today, checked in at 213, hoping for at least a lb lost by friday. We'll see!
I'm eating these delicious Jimmy deans precooked sausage patties YUM had that with a protein shake with water and almond milk. bought eggs yesterday but left them at work. need to remember to bring them home tonight. My son had a really great birthday yesterday, he can't wait for his party friday!
