I know i am one tanned chick!! and i love it lol

its a life long battle. i need to recognize and get with the program and stop daydreaming... trying on clothes helps you remember. i should make it a point to go try on clothes at least once a month, nothing yet has been a better motivator.

2 lbs down on the scale. just bloat but needs to come off. fast day went pretty well yesterday got up for bootcamp this am so far so good. im glad its the beginning of june that i'm getting this more than welcomed motivation. going to push hard june july and august and see how far i can get.

before bootcamp i had a banana, then a protein shake afterwards and now egg whites with parmasan cheese and a coffee. i have chobani, strawberries and an apple for snacks and it'll be a lean cuisine for lunch. we are having dinner with in laws tonight, i will focus on veges and meat with little carb. im not purposely watching my carbs but i know i probably usually go overboard. I will let myself have dessert but a small portion (as they always have dessert).

planning bootcamp or a solo workout tomorrow, then another fast day thursday. friday-sunday will workout although sat and sunday we have softball all weekend so i'll have to get up super early for my workouts. like 5am. yeesh! thats ok, it'll keep me away from the booze!

two lbs down since monday. i will be tracking my weight tomorrow and work to lose 2 lbs from there by the next friday. yesterday i struggled a bit with my choices. I did well food wise at work but then did not workout and got chinese for dinner. i did not have seconds of my chinese tho and i almost always do and i only had one crab rangoon where as i used to have three. I am fasting today and my daughter has a softball game late tonight. think i'll get myself a large diet pop to keep me satisfied while we are there. then home to bed. I will try to get up for bootcamp tomorrow morning to get my weekend started off right.

we have a weekend full of softball and i have a bridal shower sunday. so i really wont have any "me" time but thats ok. i think it'll keep me away from the food... well not at the shower i guess lol. well heres to a good fast day for me. hoping the hunger doesnt get too tough. im having coffee now and have hot tea to help. then i brought some change to get a dt dew after lunch as that helps as well.

i will check in tomorrow and officially post my weight.

Fast day went amazing yesterday. i had a few moments but overall conquered the day!

scale read 215.4. Just have to be careful this weekend and try not to be up by Monday so that I can ensure another loss by next friday. Goal for next friday 213.9 or lower!

so im saving up for a tropical vacation for my hubby and I next year. Originally we'd settled on mexico but now after hearing so many peoples stories of getting sick im a little skeptical about it. So now we're looking at maybe the bahamas. i dunno there are just way too many carribean islands to choose from darnit! Or maybe Punta Cana

Lexi- I have been all over Mexico and never got sick, Riveria Maya all the water is filtered you just have to be careful of ice and stuff when you venture off resorts. Punta Cana I was sick as a dog, it was beautiful there but I am so afraid to go back there were 10 of us and we were all sick. Check out Live Aqua in Cancun, close to airport and amazing, adults only no screaming kids! Aruba is also really nice. No illness at all there.

Yea we were looking at Playa Del Carmen at the Paradisos La Perla (adults only) its such a beautiful hotel. The couple whose wedding I was in last month, they stay at The Royal Resort in Playa, upscale and nice, well her hubby got sick for two days there, while she never got sick there shes been feeling off every since they got back. weird bloating etc.

I think we're thinking Jamaica Mon "If you really wanna know, where you can find me? I'll be unwinding. Down in the Islands, Down in the Islands" A little Zac Brown Band That song totally makes me just wanna hop a plane!

So scale said 216.2 so only up .8 from the weekend. Fast day today. Fast day Monday is great, the only day its hard is Thursday. They both have their ups and downs for sure.

I haven't been able to workout because my knee has really been bothering me. I'm going to an orthopedic/sports medicine dr today. Hoping to get it figured out and fixed.

Hey gals. So I guess my knee caps are all wonky and are sitting off to the sides of the knee rather than lined up which is causing thinning of my cartilidge from rubbing and spurs which cause pain. I am feeling better but am nervous to go back to my bootcamp workouts. squats, lunges etc may no longer be apart of my life I dont know what im going to do. I guess eliptical and weight machines for my legs that have low impact but that gets so boring!!! think i'll get up and go tomorrow morning to the gym and see how it goes. no bootcamp but a workout on my own. I can still burn calories. maybe i can fit in still one bootcamp/week? i dunno. just dont want to cause further damage. Im only 31 darnit!

so YAY fast day went amazing yesterday! I'm actually down .6 lbs from last Friday which means i'm well on my way for a loss this week. the fast diet really does work for me. if i can just stick with it for a long time i'd for sure reach my goal weight!!!
i haven't had a loss on the scale in forever. time to start losing again (losing back what i regained hehe).

What did the Dr say about exercise? Did he tell you there was anything you absolutely should not do? What about a brace? I have a band that goes right below one of my knees to "keep it in place" during workouts. Hope you find something that will work for you!

Sorry to hear about your knees...my right one gets wonky after doing certain movements, so lunges are usually a no-go. The Arc trainer would be a good machine to use to alleviate stress on your knees.

I think a knee brace might be a good investment, but I hope you can get some more answers!

WTG on sticking to your eating plan...proud of ya, girl! You're a fighter, and you've got this!

Yay! scale down even more. 214.0 woo hoo. my goal for friday was 213.9 or less! i should def see 213 and hopefully be able to record a 2 lb loss for the week!

So we found these amazing luxury apartments in Freeport Bahamas. There are only 12, they have a marina and a pool. Secure entry to the grounds etc. Marble floors, granite counter tops, full kitchen, king bed, free wifi, satelitte tv, ac, THE WORKS!! $150/night only have to pay 10% to reserve the room and have up to 7 days before the trip to cancel and have up to 24 hours before the trip to pay the remaining $650 balance (we're staying 5 nights). I searched and searched and searched for hours, the all inclusives looked great but it just didn't have everything i wanted. this way we have more control of how the trip will go. we wont depend on the resort. we plan to hit up the grocery when we arrive to stock up for a few meals worth of food to save money and just eat there. probably mostly breakfasts and for coffee etc. we can bring booze in our luggage so that save some dough too.
I want to eat fresh lobster from the ocean to my plate and conch and drink daquiris out of coconuts. they have so many beaches there. I think we'll snorkel and have a day where we explore, maybe take the complimentary bicycles out etc. I'm hoping we make friends with people at the complex that own a boat and will take us out
i'd love to deep sea fish but its pricey! we'll have lazy beach days etc. I can't wait!! And no worries about montezumas revenge getting me there lol!!!

its far away from now but glad we have it settled and have our room reserved. still too early too book a flight but i will be keeping my eye on the flights and comparing prices. we'll plan to go over memorial weekend that way we don't have to use that many vacation days!

here are some pics of the condo. it'll feel like home, we can pretend that we own our own vacation home. for $750/year (if we go back) thats not bad. cheaper than timeshare fees and no commitment.

the condos even have washer and dryer. Dolphin Cove in Freeport is where its AT!

I searched and searched and searched Lori. Not only was it hard to settle on the destination but there are just so many resorts. I used trip advior to help me with other peoples opinions on places. i probably spent 20 hours total researching lol.

its Dolphin Cove, Freeport, The Bahamas.

Back up to 215 this morning. thats ok. fasting today. still hoping for that 213.9 guess we'll see tomorrow!!

I'll be glad when its Friday! We have another softball game tonight but its early thankfully! Tomorrow is just work then getting a few groceries and having a glass of wine lol. Saturday I will get some kind of exercise in and then we're going to my nieces dance recital followed by dinner at some kind of kiddo arcade place. hoping the food isn't as bad as im thinking it will be.

Looking forward to Sunday, we're going golfing and taking Carter my almost 3 year old out with his. His nana bought him his Nana bought him his very own TaylorMade golf bag with three golf clubs, a driver, a regular club and a putter. He loves it! Heres a pic!

Ya! -1.8 loss, thats all I can ask for. I'll be happy with at least 1.5 each week and utterly thrilled with 2lb weeks. Gotta get through the weekend and there are plans for eating and drinking. I am going to try bootcamp tomorrow but modified for my knees. TGIF so glad its friday!!
