Thank you Amber! Sometimes its more than just about the scale (i know i need to practice what i preach). Sometimes its just about sticking with something and trusting it even if you aren't seeing the immediate results you think you should be seeing. Im glad you are working out, no one ever said after a workout "i wish i wouldnt have worked out" lol.

oooh im so jealous! I'd LOVE to go to ITALY someday. my inlaws just took a luxury cruise of italy and had a fabulous time!

oh i know LOVE INA!

Can't wait for Wednesday! I'll have a break from school AND work!

so a little bloated today (up to 199 ). didn't do what i said i was going to do drinking wise or working out wise BUT i did get in TONS of water AND i ate pretty well so i can't complain. had a good weekend overall. Got my booty up this am at 4:30 and went to 5am bootcamp and joined a new years challenge at my gym. I'm going to really try and get in MWF 5am boot camps. Tuesday and Saturday strength and might rest on Sunday im not sure... I've also decided to go ahead and give the carb cycling a try starting Monday vs January. Gotta finish the book and hit the grocery store on Sunday.

I'm hoping if i can force myself to get in the routine of the 5am classes that will be the best thing for me. This challenge is a BEAST. im starting it late so i most likely wont finish but im going to try my hardest! here it is!

it will be! i'll just focus on the next 5 weeks and not worry about next year yet.

im hoping it sticks! i got all my stuff ready last night so i just had to get up and go to the 2nd bathroom and not disturb the family and then out the door. i left by 4:45 and got there right on time.

weight 198. something. going to the gym tonight and going to try and go tomorrow am although i hurt my neck from going yesterday GRRR i just ordered a new pillow to prevent neck pain. hope it helps!

i probably wont be on here during thanksgiving weekend but hope everyone has a happy turkey day. i might be on tomorrow tho

Happy Monday!

ok so the scale is scary. 203. something. im weighing in friday and will change my weight to whatever it says on Friday and go from there. Im starting my carb cycle. it was not easy to put together a menu where im eating every three hours and specific things at that but im going to give it a shot. today is a low carb day. Breakfast I get a protein + carb + veggie so im eating these egg muffin things with brocolli and a little cheese and one slice of ezekial cinnamon raisin bread. i'm eating again in another three hours so on and so forth. I'm going to the gym tonight so not sure how i'll work out my eating schedule but i'll figure it out.

i'd really like to just ignore the scale and just work eating right and working out. thats impossible for me. i need to just weigh once a week though. i guess that can be a goal of mine for this week. next weigh in friday.

Good luck with cycling!

The "extra" will be gone before you know it! Especially just starting cycling, it should move fairly quickly.

I'll tell ya, I don't do a veggie in the morning--I cannot stomach veggies first thing in the morning I hope it doesn't somehow come back to bite me in the butt months down the road

Thank you! Even the "low carb" days are never as low i use to eat during atkins, like today i'll be around 70 grams for the day but double that for protein. So i will not have that headache thank the lord.

the brocolli in my eggs was pretty good this am. I premade egg muffins in a muffin tin. its a skinny taste recipe.

Yeah I never got "the headache" when I started cycling...my body seems to like the elevated carb intake and now I understand why Atkins wasn't working for me...

I am never hungry in the mornings and doing that small eating window within waking is hard enough, so I opted out of veggies for brekkie... Hasn't seemed to affect anything..yet.

well i have eaten three of my 5 meals for today and im hungry lol. i plan to eat my next meal when i get home at (celery and 1 tb of natural PB and 1/2 cup of 0% greek yogurt) 330 then go to bootcamp and drink a protein shake on my way home then make dinner.

Pork tenderloin with spinach and onions served over mashed cauliflower. Then get to bed so i don't want to keep eating lol.

Lexi I agree that I think LC is not working because I eat too few calories! I am not being as low carb like 20 net carbs I am sticking to 50-70 obviously I ate like a cow over Thanksgiving and gained 5 and 4 came off already it doesnt make me bloat like strict low carb does! I am trying to just focus on healthy stuff, I might eat a sweet potato or brown rice then I watch the fat, and fruits and veggies

Well back down under the 200s! yesterday was a weird day, i did have a major headache when i went to bed, i think the LC and the bootcamp kicked my butt! I will be eating more carbs today and going to my strength class. then back to LC for wed/thursday. I've never done "healthy" low carb before, my version of Low Carb was unlimited butter, cream cheese, mayo, etc. I'm excited for this and looking forward to where it will take me plus again on my LC days they aren't super low like 70-80 grams and im ok with that. I'll never try to do induction level carbs again.

Wonderful!! you got that water weight off fast girl!.. Enjoy the carb cycling, I think it is a great plan. I was like you in the past and ate way too many cals while lowcarbing it. LC does not have to equal 3000 cals a day.. . Although it can..

Weight dropped a little more today to 198 can't wait to get back to my lowest and start losing again. LC days today and tomorrow, no workouts tho. I am planning on going to 5am bootcamp friday morning, then i'll go to FIRE sat am and spinning on sunday am. i've never taken a spinning class but i have to get bicycle miles in for my challenge so im going to try it.

Yay for the drop!

You know what's funny -- I was just thinking to myself this a.m. that I might try a spinning class. My dad used to teach spinning PT at the Y, but I never tried it b/c he was a maniac. LOL.

Love the comparison pics, btw...it's amazing how much difference pictures can show. I am like you in that I can totally see weight loss in my face. You look great!

HAHA at your dad being a spinning maniac! I just think the seat will hurt too much but then i was thinking that you don't sit the whole time and you "climb" alot so i figured i'd give it a shot.

Thank you! It is amazing. thank god fat me wasn't afraid of the camera or i wouldnt have those pics! My face was SO bloated UGH im so happy to see that new face smiling back at me!
