well i could no longer resist and got on. 206.0 so still up 1.2 from friday. which honestly im ok with. lifting weights makes your muscles retain water... friday is the true weigh in day and i'll just have to take what it gives me. i made really awful choices last weekend so those might prevent me from losing.

anyway still doing great on my workouts and lifting. today is cardio only and i knocked that out this morning on the elliptical 45 minutes. burned 500 cals!

Good morning, lady! How was your day yesterday? WTG on your elliptical workout! Sometimes the elliptical is one of the hardest things to me b/c I really start feeling it in the tops of my thighs.

my day was great!!!

BUT then i met some old friends for drinks. had it on my calendar for weeks. i had just vodka and water and then a dirty vodka martini all on an empty stomach so there wasnt any food to burn. then dinner at my in laws and they ordered famous daves BBQ to go. I had one rib, one piece of brisket, half a corn on the cob with no butter, a few bites of cole slaw and a few bites of beans. one glass of wine. and stupid french fries. i have no idea but i tried to keep my portions small... definitely wasnt clean eating then again im adopting the 80/20 rule so trying to keep most of my meals clean.

any way didnt get up and lift BUT im going to do the insanity workout tonight and get up and either lift or elliptical friday morning...

i really dont even want to weigh in. im not expecting a loss and could possibly have a gain... yeesh!!!

we'll see

heres to hoping for the best. i'm going to keep doing what i'm doing though and give it a real chance...

i will definitely go back to fasting but might wait til October to start that again

i just need to remember as long as im staying active and making wise choices then i wont GAIN and hopefully i'll keep losing even if its just a little!!

Well i gained this week 1.6 lbs. This is my first gain since June. Was it the bad choices from last weekend? Or my body adjusting to NOT fasting? Or the weight lifting? I dunno...

I can't help but be disappointed. I think I need to focus more on calories vs WW points. I'm going to keep up my lifting and try to keep my calories a little bit lower. we'll see.

i wish i would have waited to stop fasting until AFTER i got into onederland. getting so close and then having a set back sucks.

Its ok, setbacks happen. Not going to let it chase me into a binge. It is what it is for now.

i've tracked the gain so now i'll focus on losing that for next week

i have my friends mothers funeral/celebration of life party this evening. it'll be bittersweet. Tomorrow is all day football. im making chili then sunday we'll spend with out of town family. Should be a fun weekend. I plan to get workouts in tomorrow and sunday.

ok so no workouts or no tracking this weekend. i had plans everyday and just gave myself one last little "freebie" before getting serious.

todays weigh in 209.8 so up 3.4 lbs from Friday. I drank booze so i know most of its water. im not worried about it. just want to get it off and try and be under 206.4 by friday.

running tonight after work. then morning strength the rest of the week with a run friday night. bootcamp sat and sunday. and no booze this weekend

i've got an impromptu trip planned the weekend of October 12th. we're going to kansas city for a fun night out and then a Chiefs football game. I had to order a new shirt and i ordered size large so im using that as my immediate motivation. i'd like to look and feel good.

these past 4 weekends i've had parties to go to, weddings, family in town etc and its showing on the scale. i really have nothing these next few weeks so i want to pull the reigns in. get a little more stricter calorie wise and really get my momentum back... I am a little scared, nervous etc but im far from done. i need to get over it, do what i need to do. Take each day at a time and make the right choices.

You have been doing great, and I think it's good that you are still able to have events where you can still enjoy yourself. my day went great, got my calories in check!. i did well during the day and went for a 2.3 mile jog afterwork yesterday. im starting to like running...

That is wonderful Lexi! I used to love running until I had ankle and back surgery, now I can't Something about those endorphins kicking in when you are out there, just feels GOOD!!!

Awesome accomplishments! As long as we are able to get right back on track after small "bumps" in the road (whether planned treats or unexplained stalls on the scale), then THAT is the turning point right there! This is for life, and I know you can do it. You are a rockstar.
