happy tuesday.

ok so got in workouts Friday, Saturday and Monday. Not sure how i did food wise. Haven't weighed since sat morning. im positive im up but not sure how much. today and thursday are fast days. going to try and get to the gym tomorrow night. I will probably just wait until Friday to weigh in. Im hoping just to maintain so i'll be happy seeing 206 again...

this coming weekend i have a wedding on friday night but thats all so i should be able to reign it back in and have a good loss the following weekend. heres hoping!!

weight today 208.4 i couldnt resist checking. still up 2 lbs from fridays weigh in. if i can get back to 206.4 i'll be happy. then really going to try and keep it in check this weekend. i need to have a big loss!

so i've decided to go back to school. Going to go online part time to get my AA in business administration. Some employers wont even look at you without a degree so i've decided its time to pursue it. i know it wont be easy but i'm ready for the challenge.

might i add, today marks 6th months in my weight loss journey. i wanted to be down 50 lbs BUT i'll take 41. heres to the next 6th months!!

so i've been doing some thinking. i think its time to stop the 5:2 for a little while. not permanetly. it seems like my body gets used to it. i still can lose on it but its very slow. if i step away and go back to it say in a month or two then i can really start to get some good losses from it.

i've decided to step up my workout game. i'm going to lift weights in the mornings and then get in cardio at night. two a days. i've got a plan. going to give it a run through next week.

most importantly i need to stick to my points, do my workouts and eat cleaner!!!!

Hey girly! I think 41 lbs in 6 months is fabulous! That's right under 7 lbs. a month!

I think going back to school is a great idea...especially if there is tuition assistance or reimbursement through your job. It can only be an asset, and I know you will rock it, as determined as you are. Your marketability will definitely improve!

Sounds like you've got a good plan. 2-a-days is hard, but if anybody can do it, you can. I just need to get myself in a workout routine, point blank PERIOD. I think I'm going to write it on a calendar and check it off -- kind of like an appointment with myself.

i have to admit i'm feeling a little overwhelmed with all of these changes im making in my life BUT they are all to better ME so i cant worry about it and just do it!

WOW well i was shocked to be back to even today! i might even have a loss tomorrow which would be great. I did a bob workout yesterday after work. i really didn't like it. id much rather go to my gym for bootcamp. i like my jillian workouts tho.

im fasting today and already hungry, boo!

meeting with our priest tonight to discuss the kids baptism, hubby is not looking forward to it but i think its important they are baptized.

not much else going on. I think my friend has picked out our bridesmaid dresses. i checked the size chart and SHOULD fit a 14 right now. there is an alfred angelo store nearby so im tempted to see if they have it in the 14 and if i can try it on. shes not 100% positive that this is it but im pretty sure. I printed out a copy and hung it at work and at home. really helps keep me motivated. I really like the dress though and she wants it to be a bit longer so that'll help!

so i just spent like 45 minutes creating my clean eating menu for next week and making the grocery list. this is going to cost alot and takes alot of time!! i know its worth it. i just have to dedicate this time to it each week!!!!! at least im already in the habit of getting groceries!

the dress is pretty. going to focus on getting my body in the best shape i can before that day gotta use motivation from where you can get it!

thank you. Clean eating is definitely the way to do it. i've had success but i could have even more if i just eat the way i should!

was too chicken to weigh in today

Friday the wedding was fun. i ate, i drank. had mcdonalds late night oops. saturday no workout and had arbys for lunch. had a diet friendly dinner. Did much better sunday, went to bootcamp, had a sandwich for lunch, then skinny greek yogurt spinach dip for dinner with baked tostitos and grilled chicken wings. had two of my PB protein bars i made. Didnt track but did ok overall.

this morning i got up and went to the gym and lifted, well first i ran half a mile on the treadmill then did arms/back. Tonight after work im going to run about 2.5 miles since i already got my half mile done this am tomorrow morning is legs at the gym then i'll do a DVD at home later i think.

eating clean today, had an egg white/turkey bacon sandwich for breakfast. string cheese and almonds for snack at 10, lunch chicken with avocado over spinach with white beans and brocolli for lunch at noon, 1/2 cup greek yogurt with green grapes snack. dinner is salmon patties with sweet potatoes and peanut butter protein bar for dessert...

going to wait til friday to weigh in... if i can.

thanks Deb... i'm a little nervous as to how these changes will effect or not effect the scale. i guess we'll see. at this point it really doesn't matter what the scale says since i've committed to these changes at least for the rest of September.

Girl, you are doing great! I think your hard work and planning will definitely pay off on the scale...if it doesn't move as quickly as desired, you also know that you are building muscle and changing your body's make-up! You know that your clothes will fit better and you'll look even more toned. You've got this!

holy crap im busy at work!!!

still havent weighed in. had a GREAT day yesterday diet and exercise wise. today so far has been the same and i got registered for my fall classes now time to work!
