You have no idea how happy i was!!

here are a few pics of how she asked

It was a box with my name on it. Open it up and it had the "will you be my bridesmaid" along with a bride cookie and a bridesmaid cookie it was very sweet and I cried lol. Now i feel silly for ever doubting what i mean to her.

its going to be a BIG wedding party, there will be 10 of us lol. and it'll be a blast! i know most of them so thats good!

boy am i so glad i started my weight loss journey when i did. im going to be rocking the ish outta that dress! she showed me what shes thinking, strapless, sparkly, black and above the knee. Not friendly to an overweight girl so since i'll be looking great by then im like "i don't care, i'll wear whatever!!" lol

weight today 209.8 weight friday 208.6

So im up 1.2 lbs today. not awful. i celebrated a little on friday night because i was so happy. so to be in line for 2 lbs lost by friday i guess i'm hoping to see 206 on the scale...

We have a fun girls night this weekend on sat that im looking forward to.

sat i ran 3 miles and yesterday did a biggest loser workout. Fasting today so i should drop the 1.2 lbs then just focus on a little more loss for friday. going to bootcamp tomorrow night

its may 10, 2014

i've already figured some calculations weight wise... if i can do 1.5 lbs loss/week from now i'll be at 152.3 for weight by then and if i can average 2 lbs/week i'll be at 133.6 by then. LMAO! which im not trying for that low but i'd take it lol.

i lost the 1.2 plus another .2 so i'm down now since my last weigh in. trying to get to at least 206.9 if not lower by friday. thats another 1.5 lbs... im going to bootcamp tonight so that'll help

its driving me nuts. i want onederland so bad hahaaha.

When you say you were going to fast yesterday, did you mean you ate nothing???? or just lower cals? I am trying to follow along to see what you are doing.. Anyhoo.. congrats on getting that water weight off, and hope you reach your goal this week!!..

May 2014 gives you plenty of time to knock out your goals! So you've seen a picture of the dress, I'm assuming?

oh lordy no lol. the 5:2 diet is "fasting" two days meaning eating 500 calories and then eating normally the other 5 days. i eat around 600-700 on my "fast" days. then follow my weight watcher points on my other 5 days.

you're right, it does. girl you have NO idea how happy i am that i started when i did on my journey. i need to post pictures of the bride and a few of the other bridesmaids. they are all in great shape, i've got my work cut out for me lol.

im not dogging on myself, but i deserve to look my best and i will do it and will be confident standing up there with my friend

she hasn't officially picked out a dress, but the one she showed me was NOT fat girl friendly. strapless and short. black and sequin.

im not reading too much into the scale today. its never accurate the morning after bootcamp. BUT i did great eating wise. i measured out my meal and didn't have any additional helpings. i had one serving of my dessert, then watched extreme weight loss and the kept my a$$ outta the kitchen.

UGH these next few weeks my social life will interferre with my weigh ins. i have plans for one night each weekend for like the next three weekends. it will be fun but i have to be very careful. i will get in tough workouts on those days. and the day after get right back on plan and drink TONS of water. And remember on Monday thats its just bloat and pray to god to get if off it time to have loss on friday... i'll shoot for 1.5 lbs on those weeks. i think that would be a blessing.

I watched the show last night too!! They both did great!!! So impressive to see the transformations.. love the show!! Wish Chris would come help me!!

So i just went through my journal and i'm having mixed emotions of my journey overall... I couldn't get it together and basically stayed right around upper 230s/low 240s for a long time over the past few years. NOW im happy that i was at least trying, that in itself prevented me from getting bigger. Looking back it doesn't seem all that long ago. and i never want to go back, never ever!

i have noticed that since i started posting consistently on here since april, i've really been successful. And literally i blinked that time away. So keeping this journal is a key to the puzzle. but overall you have to keep your mind right.

any, that was ALOT to process going through all of that again lol.

hey Lexi! I do the same thing. Reading past journal entries is interesting. I like to analyze the behaviors and how much I would obsess over the scale. Yes, I saw great results being that rigid, but I had the best results when I didn't count or weigh. I did the couch 2 5 K regimen and kept a food diary. If i wanted wine or beer i would have it, but my focus was off of food and how far I could push my body.

I'm so glad you post often. It really has been the key for me too

Thats awesome... thats how i plan to be during my maintenance. I'm really going to focus on workouts and not so much the scale. i will continue to use my WW app to track what i eat though. I'll want to workout just to perfect my new bod.

It will be a gorgeous bod indeed! You are doing awesome and i noticed when you pushed yourself was when you did very well scale wise. When we stop pushing is when things slip away. You'll do it! I can feel it

weight today. scale first said 208.4 then said 208.8 lol. so im hovering right around fridays weigh in... today is a fast day. i should be able to have at least a lb lost. i will take that. a loss is a loss. as long as i keep losing i will not complain.

im still struggling with my decisions for my meal choice this weekend at sat night dinner. fat me would like to eat ALOT of bad things and the me who wants to be thin is thinking to be more reasonable... As of now im thinking i'll go with being reasonable. I think i'll order a grilled chicken salad with maybe a bowl of soup. They make their dressings from scratch so i can get a vinaigrette and it'll be clean.

thats all for today, im hungry right now lol.

i know how you feel Lexi about eating out. Why don't you do this share an appetizer and order something you want just have them wrap up half before they bring it out. This way you control your portions without missing out on some yummy food
However, there is definitely nothing wrong with a grilled chicken salad and soup

i think i'll just stick with eating healthy. i try to remember that im eating to live not for pleasure. its hard to remember that... im going there to spend time with friends and i will be having cocktails so i'll be "cheating" in that aspect.

i forgot to mention yesterday after work i changed and walked the kids to the park. i wore my heartrate monitor. anyway while they played i did some cardio moves, jumping jacks, high knees, butt kicks and some jogging, then did some squats, lunges, pushups and tricep dips. by the time we got home my Monitor read 250 cals burned. that was well worth it and very easy. kept me off the couch and out of the kitchen and the kids got some fresh air even tho is was VERY hot.

Great job with the park with the kids It was definitely my goal to take my kiddos to the park after i got off from work, but I'm typically so tired that all I wanted to do was sit on the couch

So, glad you were able to get out there and be active. The kids really look to us and our lifestyles. What a great example you are providing your kids
