On my "fast days" I stick to around 600-800 calories. I can do that very easily. I have 2 fast days per week. The rest of the time I range from 1300-2000. I have higher calorie days on the weekends. How many calories do you take in a day on avg, Lexi. I know you are on WW but just curious as to how many calories that is.

oh i really don't have a clue on my calories on up days. i currently get 33 pts which if you multiply that as 50 cal per point thats at 1650. but i would say it fluctuates. fruit and veges are zero pts so depending on how much of those i eat would change that number.

im probably anywhere from 1300-1700?? i try not to eat my activity points, if i work out i get extra points to use but sometimes i eat a few and i get an extra like 40 pts/week and i try not to eat those either. but if we're having a special night out i don't even track i just make sure to workout that day and still try to make the best choices.

Good morning...thanks for the responses. I'm thinking about working in some fasting days...going to do some reading on IF. I think people who follow a primal WOE are in favor of IF.

good morning! i am so tired, had my little baby carter wake me up at 5am yesterday and then this morning it was my big baby DH at 5! UGH!

but im good otherwise...

fasting has worked wonders for me.

Weight today 209.8 weight from friday 212.0

i had bootcamp yesterday so i could have sweat out some water weight. im not getting excited about this one quite yet but that would be neat if it sticks i would have already met fridays goal... today!

going to try and go to KBX (kickboxing) tonight but not worried if i dont make it. i don't like to take my kids to the gym day care, its clean and all but the less kids they are exposed to the better. they already get sick enough as it is we'll see.


i did fantastic at dinner last night. NO BOOZE measured out my pasta, and only had one piece of bread. i was full and satisfied after dinner then of course at bed time im freaking hungry lol. woke up starving. since tomorrow is a fast day im not sure if going to workout tonight is the best idea as i know i'll be starving ALL DAY tomorrow if i do... we'll see.

well thats all for now.

Hi Jayce! What is primal eating like? I've never read much about it. I love IF. However, the first time I tried it; I was very unsuccessful...Like binging when my window opened. It was disastrous!! However, I was trying to wait until 5pm to eat...by that time, I was ready to eat a horse. Also, the window was 5 hours and not 8 hours. I had to adjust it for myself. Now, I easily start at noon and stop at 8pm. I rarely eat after 6pm but it's nice to know if I'm hungry at 7:59 I can grab a quick snack
Try it! Just beware of the binging that some people encounter. Let us know how you do!

girl, you and i both are SO happy that this is working for me. and its not hard! i don't feel restricted or sad or anything. i just follow my plan and i'm losing i know i wouldn't be having these results with WW alone, you really have to find what works for you, what you can sustain for a while and what you like. if you dont like it, it wont work either. but with weight watchers i know i can at least maintain and that in itself makes me a happy girl. i have to have a plan that will work for a life time as once i lose the weight i don't want to regain it again!

thank you... its been a long journey with lots of ups and downs. but i do feel like im in a great place. and i finally get it. wish i could have figured it out at age 20 vs age 30 but oh well what can you do. better 30 than 40, 50 etc...

Woo-hooooo! Awesome, Lexi! I know you're going to have a great weigh-in tomorrow. I'm glad you said you don't feel "sad" eating the way you are now -- that speaks volumes for your newfound mindset!

Jen, eating Primal is similar to Paleo -- they focus on whole foods, as in stuff that grows out of the ground or that you can hunt. Paleo is stricter though, I believe, as in no dairy or eggs. I am gradually working on switching over to more "natural" foods as opposed to a ton of processed stuff.

I would die without dairy or eggs though...Primal seems to suit you well. I read that you are losing...WTGG!!!

eating clean is the way to be. i am not a clean eater right now. I eat both... im trying not to put too much pressure on myself. i think once i'm at a happy weight then i'll focus more on clean diet and more exercise, you know to improve my "new" body. i wont be fasting at that point and i think it'll help me not only maintain but have new things to focus on AND just help me improve overall.

then i'll be more picky like "i want more definition here" instead of now where its "i just want to be smaller!!" haha.

Oh, I'm not eating Primal right now, Jen...I am working towards a modified version of that WOE as my goal, though. I definitely don't eat "clean" right now, but I'm doing better than I was before. Lol.

Aha...well, whatever works for both of you is great! I am eating great today...around 1100 calories so far and stuffed for the moment. Will end up a little higher than usual today, but feel like i need it from not getting enough in yesterday.

HAPPY FRIDAY

weight today 208.6 i lost 3.4 lbs this week!! yahoo!

its funny, my WW app scolded me and told me im losing too quickly but then they contradicted themselves and took away another point from my daily total haha.

so i had a scale victory and non scale victory. my scale vic i stated above. my NSV was i tried on my Bears shirt size large that i have owned for like 3 years and never been able to wear and it FIT!!! HOORAY!

so my friend who just got engaged whose wedding i REALLY want to be apart of because i love her, just texted to ask me to meet up for happy hour tonight. its rare that we get to see each other and very rare that she'd text me to meet up for drinks when i know all we'd be talking about is wedding stuff. im really hoping she wants to ask me to be in her wedding what do you ladies think?
