oh yes i have no plans to stop working out. i really wanted to get my workout in, but i needed to listen to my body. The kickboxing involves alot of bouncing and jumping, i tried a little and that just made my head hurt way worse. i think im getting my son/husbands cold which is annoying because we all just got over one!

I lost .4 lbs I am pleased!!! I did not deserve to lose. im happy!!

ok so this weekend im focused and determined... i want to not drink (i feel confident that i wont) AND i want to eat appropriately and get to BOTH my workouts.

My goal is to weigh in monday the same weight i am today or less. I want to see a BIG loss next friday!!!!!

one day at a time this weekend. gotta keep my focus and remember my goals. im glad i have nothing planned.

we're having photos taken of us sept 14th. boy would i like to weigh less than 200 lbs by then!

so im in a decent mood. my house really needs cleaning though and i have no desire to do it darnit! maybe i can get one thing done tonight... vaccuming and consider the bathrooms tomorrow. maybe one bathroom tomorrow and the other the next day?? if i can get that done i'll feel better. might need to enlist hubbys help.

well after the binge i had i almost expected a gain... i must not have done as bad as i though?? who knows.

omgosh can't wait for onederland! that will be a HUGE milestone for me. i feel like im on a hill and 199 is at the peak. i'm climbing my way up and crossing over will be such a relief, an exhale of sorts ... maybe thats not the correct metaphor as to keep losing will just get harder and harder so i wont have it "downhill" and i have NO plans on stopping... but i'll at least have made it half way!

Weight today 211.8 weight friday 212.0

YES!! i suceeded in my personal challenge from this weekend. I wanted to either maintain my weight from friday or lose. I did very well diet wise and i got in two very hard workouts. Sat am was Core X (working abs and legs) with high intensity cardio thrown in. Sunday was bootcamp. Bootcamp was VERY Hard, in fact i am SO sore today!

i actually weighed in 211.0 on sat and sunday morning so i think today is just water retention from my workouts. Im always up a little after a really hard bootcamp.

Goal for Friday is 209. Im planning to do my strict weekend again this coming weekend. It was VERY boring socially BUT VERY successful weight loss wise. You wont succeed with a little sacrifice here and there. I need these two weeks to have big losses because the last two weekends of the month i've got a girls night im going to and the first husker game of the year that we're going to. I can still lose during those weeks but it'll be small 1 lb losses (which i'll be happy with) but if im going to make my onederland goal by mid September then i need to catch up the loss somewhere.

i know maintenance will be glorious because i can have my cake and eat it to. i'll be able to have my fun weekends, as long as i m good during the week and keep the exercise going, and still maintain all that i've worked for!

Fast day today. Planning to get to the gym either Tuesday or Wednesday or BOTH. Im going to plan for both at this point. Cant really think about it now as i am too sore lol, thank god today is a rest day!!

Weekends suck plain and simple as far as sticking to a PLAN!!.. You did well though, almost to your personal goal Isn't it NOT FUNNY how easy we can gain, and how long it takes to lose that gain? .. ugh..

Good morning Lexi! Wow, I am so proud of you for sticking to your guns during the weekend. I know you will see onederland on schedule! I too know what you mean about the weekends! I surprisingly did well after entering in all my food for the weekend. I only when over almost 100 calories on Saturday and Sunday was right on the money. I bumped up my calories to 1500 instead of the 1200 and still fasting twice a week. Monday's and Tuesdays

weight today 210.4!!!! weight from friday 212.0

im only .5 lbs away from 209 which was my goal for friday. at this rate i might see 208!

Bootcamp tonight, then dinner afterward at my in laws. mil is making chicken pasta with red sauce. i might actually get a measuring cup and measure out one cup serving. then they'll be veges on the side. I wont actually be ready to join everyone til about 6 so i'll miss cocktail hour usually by then its easy for me to just say no. strawberry shortcake for dessert which i will be having

A job was posted internally so i applied for it. it would be nice for a change without having to completely start over somewhere new. I've been at my current job for 5 years and don't want to start over somewhere. im hoping i hear something soon. its only being posted until Friday this week so hoping i get contacted for an interview

thanks!! Im very proud of myself.

The job posted is for a scholarship specialist for college students, i think it would be some administration work and working with students and schools directly but i'd have opportunity to do different things, plus i would feel like id have some growth within my company.

currently i work in collections for a student loan guarantee agency. basically we help students who've defaulted on their loans get in touch with their collection agencies to set up payments. we answer emails, phone calls and letters. Right now people are getting ready to go back to school unfortunately with a defaulted loan they aren't eligible so we give them the information on how to become eligible and get their loans with us back out of default. I do lots of other things but that basically sums it up.

Wow...congrats on your weight this morning!

I like the idea of measuring out a portion...I know the pasta portions I ate before are HUGE compared to what I "should" be eating. I need to remember that the pasta should be a complement to the meal and not the bulk of it.

Dinner sounds yummy!

Jen, I must admit, I haven't exercised since last Tuesday evening. I definitely need to get on it this week! What are you doing for exercise?

Question for both of you: how do you determine what your IF window should be? I wasn't very hungry several days last week, so I didn't eat until the afternoon, but I'm trying to figure out if I can work in fasting somehow. It kind of sounds similar to calorie zig-zagging or the "Wendie" WW plan.

thanks!!! i wanted to see 210 by august 1st so im not too far behind that goal

i know, its way to easy to over eat on pasta!

About the fasting, i don't follow a window per say. I just eat lunch and dinner and nothing in between and nothing for breakfast except coffee. Lunch is usually a 240-250 lean cuisine with a 100 calorie greek yogurt and dinner is usually a 250-270 lean cuisine with a 40 calorie fudge pop. 5:2 is supposed to be 500 cal days twice a week but im usually around 600-700 and that works for me.

Oh, I see...very cool that you are looking to improve and move onto different areas in the company. I get bored very easily so I've always naturally gravitated to sales. I get bored with all sorts of things...cannot imagine doing the same thing for 5 years. So, congrats!!! You are a rock! A diamond! Lol! I'm feeling a little silly this afternoon

Hiya Jayce!

Well, here's what I do. I eat at 12:00 pm sometimes a little earlier depending on what is going on, but like Lexi I just drink coffee and water until noon. Then I have my lunch, a snack if I remember around 3pm. Then I eat dinner around 6pm and a snack around 7:30. The key for me is to cut myself off by 8pm. This works for me since I go to bed early like around 10pm. I know some people that wait until 3pm and 5pm to break their fast. I've been able to do that before, but I don't like it. I get headaches and feel weird. 12-8PM works best for me. The key is to not binge when you break the fast. Eat slowly drink lots of fluids and relax. I practice this everyday; even on the weekends. If I want breakfast I cut myself off earlier to keep an 8 hour window.
