Hey C! Thanks for the welcome back! Um the lean cuisine is Turkey Breast tenderloins and green beans with a mushroom gravy... Its 12 grams of carbs with 3 grams of protein, making it 9 grams net carbs... Not too bad if you need something quick every once in a while...

Happy to see you too... You are sooo much more dedicated than I am, keep up the good work... i did awesome from november - march, then fell off, got back on, fell off, got back on...

this time around i dont have any more vacas so i really have no more excuses to cheat... im going to stick to it... another 5 months of consistentsy (i prolly didnt spell that right) and if i could lose another 40 lbs I'll be at my high school weight! heres hopin!

Girl i'm not as dedicated as i want to be. What can i say, i love CHINESE food! lol (and MEXICAN...i live in texas afterall). We've got a few holiday-less months, so hopefully you will be straight (me too lol)... Gotta live life without regrets...so i won't regret my fried wontons, so long as they don't force me to regret being fat lol...everything in moderation, but LCing most of the time works for me! lol

what's a runza?

Chantyl - ok so i feel a tiny bit better about not being as strong as i once was, but i think im getting back there... I think you hit the nail on the head though with the statement that you will still eat your fried wontons but will stick mostly to LC... thats the problem i have is letting myself "cheat" every now and then but sticking to the diet... i think once i reach a weight I am happy with i may have an easier time with it! Oh and dont even get me started on the chinese food... i freakin love it, when i am not dieting i eat it like every sunday for dinner, my boyfriend wouldnt even ask whats for dinner cause he already knew! And YES having the next few months holiday free will def help me!

runzas are delicious!! It is hamburger with onion and cabbage, wrapped in delicious flaky bread... you can google it... so when im LCing it i just mix hamb with cabbage onion salt and pepper, cook it for a while to let the cabbage wilt then put it in a bowl with some cheese on it and eat... yum! but the real thing with the bread is unbeatable! Here in Nebraska we have fast food resturants called Runza they are real good there too... they sell em at all Husker games too! Yum!

WOW has it been awhile! I am only going to say one thing about my weight gain, i didnt eat on plan and i overate so i gained weight. there that is it.

I finally have some motivation, for a while i just didnt care, whatever gets me back on it i guess is good. this may not be the right way to think about it but oh well! I want to fit into my halloween costume so i am going back to atkins to lose a quick couple of lbs. who knows maybe after halloween ill stick with it! that was kinda my attitude when i joined last year, i didnt know how long i was going to do it but just thought id give it a try! within the first two week i was able to lose 15 lbs, i would like that again very much, i was able to do that just by how i was eating without excersize. only this time i am going to excersize. im going to try for 5 times per week!

well thats it, every thing ive been thinking, my goals maybe rediculous and silly but i dont care, like i said whatever brings me back to try and lose a few is well worth it to me!

Breakfast

3 sausage links one hardboiled egg

snack- tuna salad with carrots and celery

lunch bunless cheesburger

snack - cheese stick

dinner - baked salmon with olive oil and mashed cauliflower

snack - cream cheese clouds

hi Lexi! so glad to see you come by my journal, sorry it's taken so long to get over here! I've been spending tons of time out on FB! LOL

I am feeling good these days with the pressure of my 50th off of me! LOL Looking forward to the holidays and gonna try to eat one good meal then back off!! Been keeping portions smaller, stopping when I get full and not eating to late. I need to do a 2 week induction because I haven't in a while but I am keeping my carbs under a 100 a day so thats a plus...LOL

By May,,,I don't even know what I can do by May...right now my goal is 179 then 160 and see how I feel and look and go from there. I really am afraid of getting to low (not that it will happen) and looking older, you know all this ...skin has to go somewhere and gravity my dear is saying it will go downward!! LOL but I will worry about all that when the time comes or if the time comes

I've got some motivation thats all it takes right? I'm not ashamed nor am i surprised im almost back up to my original starting weight of 235. Today I am at 232.5, wow i feel like crying just looking at that and saying that outloud. Well i need to set realistic goals for myself and stick to them... my cousin said something to me that was kind of inspiring, she said "i always say well if ive done it before i can do it again" i need to forget EVERYTHING else from the past including how quickly i may have lost weight previously. this is a new journey and i need to focus on feeling good now. I am not happy with my body now and i completly lost all control. i need to get some control back to be happy again. i didnt get a chance to go to the store last night but im going tonight and going to plan my menu for this week. back to basics, im going to do a quick overview of what is acceptable food for induction.

Looking at my journal since July and there seems to be a common theme, and a pretty pathetic one too... ate off plan, gained weight, got back on plan, lost a few then started the cycle over again.

thats what brought me to where i am at today NO MORE! I wont stand for it! I really feel like ive got my eye on the prize, i mean time flies so fast, i dont want to be at my birthday feeling like a helpless, sad, out of control fat girl. I just need to take it day by day and before i know it 1,2,3,4 months will have gone by and i will be much happier... why not start now, just work for it, thats all it takes, the months fly by and the sooner you start the sooner you will start to feel good!

No weigh in until Monday 01/11/2010 and im not expecting miracles, i will be happy with what i got and keep on chuggin!

20 lbs by march 1st! here we come! or go!

I was tempted to check the scale this morning but didnt, i dont want to get into that habit again, its madness. daily checking of the scale is not necessary nor is it helpful or accurate for that matter. i had leftovers for lunch today, tonight either meatballs or portabello pizzas from the atkins website, pizza sounds kinda good maybe we'll try that with a side of veggies.

ive got my DB trying out LC i really hope he is successful, we'll see!
