That's cool that y'all can go for free -- awesome! I've never been "secure" in a bathing suit, even when I was way smaller. I looked back at my friend's pics from our high school senior trip to Jamaica, and I was like, "Oh my GOD! How did I think I was fat???" Sheesh. I guess a lot of women feel that way though.

05/13/2013 weight as of last friday 224.2 weight today 226.6

I'm up 2.4 lbs today. Pretty sure its water weight from drinking on saturday night. my goal will be 222.2, thats 4.4 lbs from today. that 2.4 is water so my goal for friday is attainable I'm fasting today so maybe all of the water weight will be gone by tomorrow??? i'm taking the kids to the zoo after work tonight so im not tempted to eat. then bootcamp tomorrow night. Maybe wednesday after work we'll go to the park. i do need to return some clothes to the mall so we'll probably do that one night too!

i've got my first 5k on saturday, im looking forward to it. i hope i can rock it!! i would like to run it in 40 minutes or less. we'll see. No booze for me this weekend!!

heres to another work week, hopefully it goes by quickly! chicago trip is in 24 days! three weeks from thursday!! yahoo!

5/14/13 weight as of last weigh in 224.2 weight today 225.6.

lost one of the lbs i gained over the weekend. just have 1.4 to go, then another 1-2 lbs to have a loss. im confident i will have a loss. Bootcamp tonight, then making skinny mac and cheese for dinner. its an ok tuesday so far.

i had a small victory today, i was able to put on some pants i couldn't wear last summer. felt good getting those babies on!

Im hoping to see 222 on the scale tomorrow, we'll see if i can make that happen then by next friday i should be under 220!!! woo!

today is starvin marvin thursday. i don't know why but my thursday fast day is always so hungry compared to monday which is a breeze. oh well at least i get to leave early today. taking DD to a dr appt.

well usually im grumpy on thursdays but im in a pretty good mood today. im feeling good about myself and im excited for my future. i need to learn how to enjoy my day to day life and not always be looking forward to whats next. i don't think there is anything wrong with looking forward to the next thing BUT i think you need to appreciate your present as well.

Im running my first 5k on saturday morning. im nervous but overall excited. its going to be fun! might go golfing on sunday with my honey too.

Thanks girl! its just a fun one, but its my workout for saturday so im going to push myself. there wont be any hills so that'll be good for me. bootcamp has helped condition me for it. i doubt i'll make it the entire way without stopping but i can at least make it 2 miles then take a little break then start up again... I ran 2 hilly miles a few weeks back without stopping so i know i can at least do that much i'll be glad to have my HRM on so i know how many calories i burn.

05/17/2013 weight today 222.6

yay! I lost 1.6, which is awesome!! I did drink last weekend so im greatful to still have a loss. it seems the weeks i don't drink tho i lose 3-4 lbs. this weekend i am NOT drinking! i want to be under 220!!

today i'm wearing some of my silver jeans that i've been trying to fit into for over a year!!! and they are comfy! hooray!!

Monday May 20th. weight as of last weigh in 222.6 weight today 223.2

hooray! I'll take only .6 up after a weekend ANY DAY! No alcohol makes a HUGE difference! and getting workouts in helps a ton too! I had my first 5k, it was amazing, i ran most of it and ran it at 37 minutes. im so impressed and proud of myself. i love this new person i am becoming, an active healthy person. feels alot better than laying around on the couch just getting fatter. being uncomfortable in my clothes, that sort of thing. Hoping to see 219 on the scale on friday. fingers crossed!!

i hope this week FLIES by, i have to get into a swimsuit on sat, YUCK!! Then we're going to a bbq sat night, i'm bringing fruit kabobs. Sunday night im going out to dinner with my hubby and his parents then were going out drinking to celebrate my youngest brother turning 21. Hoping to keep it reasonable. i don't want to feel like crap on monday. I'll plan to get on my elliptical on monday. I'll have to only expect 1 lb loss for that next week so i guess thats better than nothing. Then i'll have another boring week which i hope flies by again. Then it'll be VACATION week. I plan to fast on monday and wednesday which i hope helps combat some of my vacation weight gain.

i cant wait for vacation!!! i've been living such a boring life lately, it'll be nice to cut loose!

I'm so scared that i'll lose my motivation and focus. so many times before i've done that. While on vaca plan to try and focus on eating smaller portions and tracking my eating. that way i'll still be in the habit of WW. i wont be tracking my drinking tho so it wont be totally honest. but it'll keep me in the habit. i have to have to have to get right back on track the tuesday after we get back. no ifs ands or butts. im NOT done with my journey!

I need to have faith in myself, plus i still have so many things to keep me motivated! i can't WAIT to go dress shopping for the wedding in august. i just have to remind myself of that. Middle to end of July im going to go hoping to see 199 before that wedding!!!!!!!!!

So Sunday night we're going out to dinner and having drinks. i've decided to eat completely on plan and only drink liquor with zero calorie mixers. i'm going to have to have an eating plan for when we get home if im hungry... maybe i'll stash an extra lean cuisine in my freezer and just eat that. i don't want to be out past midnight! prob plan to head home around 1130. we'll see, i just don't want to completely sabotage next weeks weigh in. i'll shoot for 1.6 lbs.

bootcamp was good last night, i really like that i've made tuesdays a habit. its so worth it! Since i fast on mondays and thursdays i don't workout those days so that leaves tuesdays, wednesdays, fridays, sat, and sunday. i work out tuesday, sat and sunday. i should do friday morning but it would be hard to workout after a fast on thursday and fridays kinda my "break" day, since its weigh in day. i suppose if i were really motivated i could get up a little earlier and have a protein shake, then get on my elliptical. maybe that'll be my goal after vacation to get myself under 200!

i'd like to bump up my bootcamp another day, but that would mean i'd need to go on Wednesday and i usually don't want to lol. BUT i guess i'd just have to suck it up to reach my goals. we'll see, maybe i could try and do it every other week?? who knows.

we ordered pizza last night, long story but i wasn't home so i didn't make dinner, i only ate one piece and a few bites of a breadstick, long story short i woke up starving today which is awful timing because its a fast day. oh well, i drank some protein this am, im going to be at around 700 calories, which usually for fast days i try to stay at 600. i doubt this extra hundred will matter. still hoping to see 219 tomorrow. that would be another 2.1 lbs from today total lost would be 2.7. im used to losing at least 3 if not more on non drinking weeks so who knows maybe i'll see 218!!

i wanted a cocktail so bad yesterday, im glad i stuck to my guns! i'll enjoy some on sunday so thats what i told myself just to get to sunday!

well i hope this day goes by quickly, anxious to see the scale tomorrow and for the weekend to begin!!!

05/24/2013 weight today at weigh in 221.4

Hooray i lost -1.2, too bad i was expecting like 3 lbs. A loss is a loss, yesterday was a fast day and i went over a little bit so that could be it, or hormones. Im thinking my few days of binge in chicago will help restart everything. I hit 10% lost since March which was a WW goal so im pleased with that. I shaved and loofahed myself this morning and applied some spray tan, have to be in a swimsuit tomorrow so i figured the spray tan could help a little bit. I'll be glad when that crap is OVA!

My goal before chicago is 217, i have two weeks, i can TOTALLY do it. Next week i'm hoping to see 219. I'll just need to keep focused on my goals. i really wanted to see it today but it just didn't happen. oh well.

TGIF!!!!! WOO! three day weekend babee!

34.6 lbs gone since Jan 2012. Feels good. I haven't been this low in weight in YEARS! No turning back...

05/28/2013 weight from last weigh in 221.4 weight today 225.4

Im up 4 lbs from fridays weigh in. Food wise i did ok not super good but not bad overall. i did two workouts this weekend too. Sunday night we went out drinking for my brothers bday. I'm thinking these 4 lbs are just water weight. im not expecting a loss for this week so im just focusing on getting back to 221.4... im fasting today and thursday and going to kickboxing tomorrow night. i should be good. Then next week i'll just hope to get under 220 before chicago on thursday. im worried about the scale when i get back from my trip. but i'll just weigh in and get right back to it.

I felt really good about myself this weekend. I wouldn't trade it for the world. and i know the more i lose the better i will continue to feel

Thanks Amber!! I really appreciate the support!

I started weight watchers online March 4th, then April 15th i started incorporating a diet called 5:2, you "fast" two days per week, I eat around 500 calories on mondays and thursdays and the other days i stick to my weight watchers. Plus i cut back tremendously on alcohol. 5:2 has been working great for me although i think im going to cut back on that. for a little bit. switch it up a bit so i don't get burned out.

stupid holiday weekend, oh well, i bet it would have been worse if we'd been up to our usual antics before we were in weight loss mode.

That feeling is one i want to hold onto. I NEVER want to go back to where i was and i want to keep going where i deserve to be

i dropped 2.2 lbs, i have 1.8 to go to get back to last weeks weigh in. I'm going to kickboxing tonight and then considering going to bootcamp tomorrow night. I think im going to give my fasting a break. I'm kinda getting sick of it and lately i've been extra jittery on my fast days which i don't like.

I made up my own 8 week challenge 06/12/13 - 08/07/13. I'm going to focus on fitness and dieting. I'm already consistently going 3x/week so this will just add two more days which is totally doable. i should probably fast tomorrow to get back last fridays weigh in. guess i'll wait and see what the scale says tomorrow... here's my weekly workout schedule.

i'll need to invest in another good sports bra and another workout pant plus tops.

Mondays – Rest day +lower point day to catch up from the weekend
Tuesday – Boot camp
Wednesday –Boot camp
Thursday – Rest day
Friday-Group fitness OR Gym workout
Saturday- CoreX
Sunday – Boot camp

For me I feel like i just keep going out of habit, its not a habit i want to break PLUS i know it'll help me reach my goal. It just takes time and effort. Plus i don't want a ton of loose skin hanging around and working out should be able to help me with that.

it just has to be apart of my life, and not only do i have weight loss goals but i like being strong, im bumping up my weight choices, now i almost never grab 5 lbs its always 8s and 10s!
