Jayce, I agree 100%!! Its important to never forget. If i was still at 285 and not pregnant right now i don't think i'd leave the house. So i'd better be glad that the scale is at least moving in the right direction even if it is slowly moving.

Weighed in today at 237.2, i should be at 236 tomorrow which would be my lowest weight since I re-started low carbing the end of May, so thats good. Hope i hit that tomorrow. And really hope that if i continue three days at very low carb each week that i can hit 3/lb loss per week. I fear if i stay the same for another month i will have to try something else.

i know it is, i'm trying not to set my goals too high since for june i've only lost one lb. but that did include two major cheats (i think the last cheat actually helped) and i was eating almonds like everyday i think they completely sabotaged me.

so drumroll please. today is my one month weigh in, i weighed in at 236! one lbs loss! woo! haha, i'll take it, at least the scale is moving down. I learned some lessons so can't argue with that. i really want to be in the 220's by august, so im just focusing on that. i'm going to shoot for just a one week weigh in this time around. found some bacon jerky that is amazing and zero carbs, love it! oh and my ketostix measured small trace today so thats good. hoping i don't mess myself up too much this weekend. i will not be eating off plan but will be having drinks. tonight drinks before i go to see "magic mike" with some friends, can't wait! then tomorrow night celebrating my sons 1st bday with just my hubbys fam. looking forward to it, we're having salmon so i'm going to let him try some, bet he likes it! i'm going to try to only have a small amount of wine and i'll be drinking just vodka or gin.
B-scramby eggs snack - bacon jerky L - leftover chicken breast with mayo and parm and yellow squash D - im going to eat a little before we go out so probably bunless cheeseburgers, then maybe will eat a little when i get home. I need something in there to soak up what drinks i do have.

Ooh that bacon jerky sounds good!!!!
Have fun tonight, I wish I was going. I will see it, but it may not be in the theatre. We'll see what the next week brings. Down 1 lb is good. Like you said, atleast its going in the right direction!!! |

So i'm truely having the hardest time with falling off plan on the weekends. I've decided i'm going to give portion control and eating less calories plus exercise another go. If i accidentally eat off plan once per week while eating low calorie it does not seem to have as much as an affect on me as it does when low carbing. I'm sad that I cannot seem to find the determination I had the first go round with the low carb diet. I truely would love to lose just 20 lbs by the time i'm in that wedding in sept. SO i'm solely just focusing on that. I figure as long as i'm trying it wont matter what im doing. It'll at least keep me from gaining and if it comes off slowly well at least its coming off.

Looking good girly!!!!
I will support you either way you decide to go!!! I would however like to put in my two cents..... Don't let weekend eating keep you from sticking with this plan. Its a way of life. We all have slipups but we just get right back to it when the slipup is over. I have slipped many times and just get right back to it. The weight comes back on, but most of the time its water weight and it comes up pretty easily. If you like low carb eating and like the results you see stick with it..... If you however just really want to switch then go for it. I just wanted to say that just because you ate off plan it doesn't mean that you failed!!! ![]()

Well i hope everyone had a great 4th!!! i had a lot of fun!! I'm feeling extra motivated today so thats good. i'm ready to put in some work and get my exercise on! Can't wait til tomorrow am to get up and sweat! I'm going to weigh in tomorrow and then wait two weeks and weigh in again July 20th. I'll want 5 lbs loss by july 20th. then another 2 weeks after i'm going to try for another 5 lbs loss. crossing fingers!
meal plan for today B - strawberry protein shake with almond milk s - string cheese and sliced turkey L - lean cuisine s - grapes D - grilled chicken with zuchinni and squash S - 100 calorie ice cream treat i'm going to try to stay between 1200 - 1500 calories per day. 1200 on days that im not working out and 1500 on days that i am. i think i'll give myself one higher calorie meal per week that should help with staying on track and keep my body guessing. |

OK i weighed in today. i was up to 245, i think going from low carb, to high carb/high calorie really packs then weight on, then if you don't go back to low carb the water weight doesnt come off as fast. anyway i weighed in at 243 so its going back down. My goal for 2 weeks is to be at 240 or less. I worked out this am, my plan is to workout 6 days per week for 45 minutes. eating around 1500 calories per day. the day i don't work out i'll go for 1200.
B - strawberry whey protein with almond milk S - edamame and a 90 calorie fiber one bar L - lean cuisine s - one serving of trail mix or an apple D - grilled chicken with broc. dessert - 100 calorie ice cream bar some chardonnay |
