Ok so i'm not doing everything i can in these next two weeks to lose. i should be working out! I should have gotten my lazy a$$ out of bed and worked out. Mark my words I will be sweating in my living room tomorrow at 6am!

I'm battling with myself I really want to weigh in just to see where I'm at. I'm going to hang on and not do it but it feels like torture. I think an entire month is too long, i think every two weeks will be better, so thats what im going to try for July. I'm just feeling like I'm not losing, i will be so disapointed if im not at my goal.

I've got a yummy menu for our dinners this week so that will be good. and i'm going to make a lemon cake with lemon frosting for saturday so that i can have cake with everyone else on my sons bday. I'l be glad when this week is over i don't have motivation for work lol, i'd rather be at home playing with the kiddos. my little boy is getting so big, hes practicing standing on his own without holding onto anything, it wont be long and he'll be walking, how exciting!

ok heres todays menu

B - protein shake with unsweetened almond milk
s - string cheese, almonds, maybe a sausage patty or two
L - leftover hamb, cauliflower, alfredo casserole
s - slice of pepperjack cheese if anything
D - Jalapeno cream cheese pizza on a cauliflower crust
s - maybe a low carb PB cookie

so im a big fat liar and didn't get up to workout, i don't know what my deal is. im very motivated eating wise, i just need to get the exercise motivation going. its quite annoying.

I'm wearing a shirt today that i haven't fit in like 2 years so thats good Wishing it was friday, im excited for my little mans bday party! I'm feeling skinnier today so thats good even tho i don't feel like i look it. I need to remember that its only been one month since i started and the weight loss takes time. its not going to be overnight.

oh my gosh so i made pizza last night with a cauliflower crust, it was SO AMAZING! I'll post pics. YUMMO!!

happy thursday!

one week plus one day until weigh in day, woo!! can't wait! I'm ready for this week to be over, i've got alot of cleaning to do for saturday and i have a bridal shower in the afternoon so i can't wait until saturday to get prepared. I'd like to have my floors vacuumed and swept/swifered tonight, and the screened in porch cleaned out. once that stuff gets done i'll feel alot better. Still no exercise not much else to say about that, i've already said all of it. at least i've got the eating part down. i think tomorrow night i'll make my cake and the jello shots and then sat am i'll make the frosting. then when i get home from the shower i will decorate with our thomas the train theme and wait for our guests to arrive. oh shoot i've got to get to the store too. maybe i'll do that tonight, just for a few items luckily.

menu
B - protein shake Unsweet almond milk
s- almonds/cheese
L- leftover runza hamb mix with cheese
s - diet pepsi
D - Chicken stirfry
s - LC PB cookies

I've never made it before, but this is the recipe I got from a friend.

Sugar free angel food cake.
Poke holes in cake and pour in sugar free pudding.
ice with sugar free cool whip and garnish with strawberries.

I found a sugar free angel food cake at walmart in the bakery. for 1/5 of it it has 8 carbs. I plan on making the slices smaller than 1/5 so the carbs are lower. I may leave out the pudding because you have to use milk to make it and not sure if I want the extra carbs......

How much milk does it require? You could use HWC, half & half, or unsweetened vanilla almond milk instead. I love Trader Joe's brand of almond milk. Recipe sounds good!

OMGosh you guys i'm so sad and disapointed. Well i'm doing better now but definitely wearing a frown. So I could just tell my body wasn't changing and I just had to see where I was at so I weighed in today one week early. I am still at 237, not one lb lost I think my vacation really sabotaged me. It was two weeks ago, i ate badly off plan on Friday and Saturday. I have no idea how much I gained. Do you think that i could have gained a ton and then spent these last two weeks getting back to where I started? Or what?

I've been drinking almond milk with protein everyday, and eating almonds for snacks. Then eating hamb with vege type meals, or chicken. I'm still ready to keep going, now i know for sure that i really need to take exercise seriously. Anyway i'd appreciate your thoughts/suggestions, thanks.

I'm not logging my weight officially until my weigh in next Friday.

Yea... this no weighing sucks!!!! LOL

I think maybe it may be the weekend. You ate quite a bit off plan. Now, what I have found that works for me if I eat one thing off plan is to IF for the day. All those extra carbs need extra time to digest thru your system. And the exercise too Lexi. I think consistency with the exercise is key! But you are still doing GREAT because you haven't gained a lb!!!!!!! THAT IS AWESOME!

I agree it must be just that bad eating weekend. Hang in there sweetie!!! Maybe not weighing isn't a good idea. I know that it can easily become a bad thing weighing everyday but for me it keeps me on track. If the scale is up then I know I have to work that much harder the next day. You have to find what works for you though.

Lexi-
Happy birthday to son today???? Yeah!!

About the scale, I think maybe 1 month is too long? I used to do once a week and that was good then I started twice a week, now its everyday and it pisses me off, but it does keep me on track, like I cant gain back 30 pounds or I will cut my own arm off, LOL

You might have to start eliminating or cutting back some things? Almonds really stall some people, same with too much cheese, cheese is yummy but too much of it can mess with your weight loss, maybe this week start by not eating almonds, and see if that helps, instead try 1/2 avocado or something with good fat to still give that feeling of fullness???

I know how frustrating it is, I exercise my butt off and cant seem to budge weight we are screwed for life so we gotta find ways to work around it, and deal, regular exercise will be good for you, you might find mentally you start to enjoy it, even walking is good, take the baby for a walk with your daughter for 30 minutes after dinner or go as a family it is a good time for uninterrupted talk, I work out, but me and Tony still go for a walk after dinner, no computer, no TV no phone and that is when we really talk!

Hang in there hun, only you know your body and what you have to do so just start mixing it up and maybe it will start shedding for you!!!

Hugs!

Thanks girls I really appreciate it and I think you are all correct. I do think one month is too long, however if it had worked like i'd hoped then it would have been great haha. I think maybe i'm going to try for just two weeks now. And i'm giving up my almonds and my almond milk, i think that was just probably too much. If i'm going to have a protein shake guess i'll have to have it with water.

So I ate really badly yesterday, i thought i could resist my sons bday cake but i couldn't, then it just lead to one thing to another. So i'm up 6 lbs, i know from just one day, lol. i'm not too terribly upset nor have i lost my focus. i'm doing VLC for the next three days, egg and meat only to jump back into ketosis and get this water off. then i think i'll just try to eat like that each week for three days, VLC and see if that helps get some of this weight off me.

menu for today
B - sausage and eggs
L- left over filet mignon
D - left over Filet mignon and eggs if im still hungry

wow, this is NOT where i thought i'd be one month ago oh well i guess the good thing is that im sticking with it.

Hooray, i've lost 4 of the 6 lbs i gained so thats great. I'm down to 239. Egg/meat only yesterday went well, it wasn't too hard, i have a feeling today might be more difficult. who knows maybe i'll end up at the end of the week with a loss.

menu
B - eggs/sausage
L - Egg salad
D - burgers or chicken

Happy Wednesday, wish it was Friday! Well i've lost all the weight i put on from Sunday so thats good! So my plan is for July is no more almond milk and very little almonds (if any) definitely not everyday. I'll be doing very low carb Mondays - Wednesdays and then the rest of the week i'll add in veges but still stay under 20g. I think that should keep my metabolism confused which hopefully i will see consistent losses each week.

menu
B - bacon/sausage
L - leftover bunless burgers with zero carb cheese
D - chicken breast with cheese maybe a little mayo

Thanks Amber, i'm trying to stay positive. its annoying to be at the exact same weight i was one month ago BUT that also means i've been able to maintain. I started out 2012 at 256lbs so im glad im not there anymore. and one year ago at this time i weight 285 at the end of my pregnancy so i'm DEFINITELY glad im not there!
