Thanks Amber, I most certainly am. I am MOTIVATED! Its really a great thing! yea the only weighing once per month is probably the best thing i've ever done. Feels great. And I'm thrilled I still have SO much time before my weigh in. I really hope to get to my goal and if i do i have a feeling i'll be unstoppable!

Ok, im back! Heres how it went, i ate low carb all day friday until we got to our happy hour spot. Then i had two margaritas, some chips and some tortillas. Dinner was bbq and corn and we took home some carrot cake. Sat was breakfast = pancake (no syrup because we couldn't find it lol) a croissant and a biscuit (i know, alot) lol. Lunch was a cheeseburger with bun and fries. Dinner was chicken milan with fettucinne and tiramisu. Sunday was BACK TO LOW CARB WITHOUT EVEN BATTING AN EYE! I had a great time with my family and i lived my life and i had no regrets and no feelings of guilt. I can already feel the bloat leaving my body. Plus we did A TON of walking and always ended the night with a trek up this steep hill back to the hotel I'm SO SO SO happy that I came right back, i don't seem to be suffering from any horrible cravings (yet) and just happy to be back to LC. NOw to get to my goal! We are doing some tailgating this weekend but im not worried abotu that, tailgating means hot dogs and burgers so im good with that, no buns of course. Then the following weekend is my sons bday which will be steaks and salad for me, no cake, i am tempted to make a lc lemon cake recipe i found, which i might make for me and my hubby, we'll see. then i'll just have one more week til my weigh in. I think i might adopt this as a new thing for me. One - two days per month of eating what i want. If i get to my goal then i will do just that! i miss writing my meals down so im going to do that again.

Breakfast - choc protein shake with unsweetened almond milk
snack - almonds and cheese
lunch - spin salad with parm and italian dress and egg salad
dinner - grilled chicken with swiss and mushroom and broc
snack - sugar free jello with whip

C-its really such a great idea. i think you should do it too!!! I'm super curious right now as to what my weight is but it hasn't even been a full two weeks yet since i put the scale away so im just going to keep at it!

SO i've been reading atkins success stories and I really can't wait to lose the weight! I wish i could make time go faster lol! but it is what it is. If i can do what i did my first go round with my 45 lb loss in 4 months, i will be one happy honey. But i wouldn't be done yet, id still have to keep going. I need to make sure i at least maintain my losses even if i take a break from losing. BUT thats months away so i don't really even want to think about that
My past weekend of eating carbs hasn't seemed to effect me too much, my chiperness has kinda faded so i'll be happy to get that back. Right now i just need to get my butt up and work out!!!!! my alarm goes off at 545 and i just want to keep sleeping. i need to get back into the swing of things exercise wise. i know if i start up a regiment there will be no stopping me.

breakfast
protein shake with almond milk
snack
almonds and string cheese
lunch
taco salad
dinner
mush and swiss chicken with broc
snack
either cream cheese clouds or whip with sugar free jello

ps - i had to make cupcakes for my hubbys coworkers for a birthday, that was not nice that i couldn't have one. i did resist, although i had a few tastes here and there and one mini bite, i mean i had to make sure they were good, right? lol

Find an exercise you love and get started. If you love it, it will help you get back into it.

Thanks Melanie! I'm really counting on you to keep going to keep me going lol. When i got to where you are now the lowest weight i got to was 189, and i let it all slip away. So i'll be looking towards you for advice lol to keep it off and to keep it coming off! No pressure tho

I love my dvds in the morning i just hate getting out of bed, but once i start up i usually keep it up for awhile, i just have to keep it going.

So i was a little of focus yesterday, i didn't feel as good as i had lately. Luckily it was VERY brief. I know why i was feeling like that too it was because while i was doing everything right eating wise i was not doing all i could do for myself by working out. I need to maintain a consistant workout and eating routine. I always feel SO much better about everything im doing, exercising itself is enough to keep me motivated. If i workout i know i wouldn't want to waste all that hardwork by eating badly.

So i realized that I only have 2.5 more weeks before my weigh in and i need to be doing everything in my power to get to my current goal. I really do plan on stepping up my exercise game.

This am I got up at 6 and did the Bob Harper "total body transformation" um ya the first words out of his mouth are "This will be the hardest workout you have ever done", i was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I haven't consistantly worked out since March. I only had time for 35 minutes, it kicked me butt. My legs were like jello towards the end. I defintiely could not do everything at the level he was doing it at, but i know if i'm ready for a good workout, thats the DVD to do. I guess I'll try and do that one once per week. Tomorrow i'll probably do my carmen elektra dvd because its more at my level. its not easy but i can do everything they do and i get a great workout in. then sat i'll do jillian michaels "banish fat boost metabolism" i haven't tried that one yet so im excited for it. Jillian doesn't play so you know she'll work you out.

Anyway immediately after my workout i chugged a protein shake. I have hard boiled eggs for a snack. and grilled chicken with swiss and broc for lunch. I think we're going out to dinner tonight or eating at my in laws so i'll have some sort of meat with salad and veggies. and maybe a drink or two but that'll be it. GOTTA MAKE THESE NEXT 2.5 WEEKS COUNT AND PUT THE WORK IN. heres to seeing 229 or lower on that scale!

Ok.... I will try it for one week!!!! BABY STEPS. I am already having withdrawals.

I do not see how you get up so early. I am like you. I just want to sleep at 6am!! But YAY to you for doing it!!!! KUTGW girl. Your menu sounds great.

YAY!! Just hide your scale or put in the garage like i did, or better yet, next to those BEES haha, you know you wont be going anywhere near it if its by the bees lol. Anyway, i think you should do two weeks. weigh in, set a reachable goal and then bust yo butt for two weeks! it gives you motivation, builds excitement and anticipation

see once i get in the hang of it, its no biggie, i hate dreading a workout all day so nothing better than getting it done in the am and plus it gets your metabolism going.

im drinking the "s-m-a-r-t" from complete nutrition. its kinda pricey but its got all kinds good stuff for you and its low carb.

Nah! get your game face on. the scale isnt going to do anything for you. like i did last week when i wanted to weigh myself, i looked at my body and said "this isn't the body that i want so it really doesn't matter what the scale says i am not done with my journey" you'll do great!!!

SO i had a little too much wine last night and didn't work out this am. i am WAY sore from my bob harper yesterday. i am definitely working out tom am because we'll be partying all day in omaha at the college world series. i will only drink low carb drinks and eat low carb food! i feel too good in these jeans to give that up. i've decided to do my weigh in two weeks from today so that its not after a weekend but before. i always tend to either stay the same or be up a little bit after a weekend so fridays are usually my lowest weight. so my weigh in will actually be on june 29th, just two days early, no biggie after a whole month of not weighing.

we will be baby free tomorrow night, woo, so we're going out to play pool/darts and maybe some dancing. can't wait!

Lex- I swear all those Jillian and Bob DVD's are freaking killers!!! That is good for you!! You are going to be amazed when you get on the scale!!!! You can do this hun!!!! Did I read your son is turning 1 already? My that time flew didnt it? Enjoy him!!! they get so big so fast!!!!!

Well we ended up just hanging around the baseball park, it was a madhouse, i still have plenty of fun but no dancing. thats ok i'm planning a night out for some friends next month when my hubby goes out of town for a golf trip.

We definitely had a great time! I felt pretty good yesterday too just a little tired.

It really messes with your head! Less than two weeks til my weigh in. hope im not disapointed.

OMG i was still so sore on sat from my thursday workout. I did a jillian dvd on sat, not the whole workout tho just 35 minutes. i want something to work up to. My goal this week is 4 workouts. i hope you are right. i will feel so silly if i don't at least get close to my goal.

Yes my little carter man is one in less than 2 weeks. we are celebrating his bday on sat, i can't wait. he is so special to us along with our little laila too.

So this weekend flew by as usual! i did pretty well sticking to plan. i had a couple bites of bun on saturday and three chicken nuggets (which only equaled up to like 8 grams of carbs so im ok with that) if im going to do this full time then things like that should matter in the end. I still ate low carb and i worked out on sat plus i didn't sit at all sat evening for like 6 hours straight. my feet were killing me lol. im wearing a shirt today that i haven't been able to wear for a while so that makes me feel good! My big boys first bday party is this sat. im really looking forward to it! I'm going to make myself a low carb lemon cake recipe i found so i can have cake with everyone else Hope this week flies by!

Heres today menu
Breakfast
protein shake with unsweetened almond milk
snack
string cheese and almonds
lunch
gyro no pita with salad
snack
big slice pepperjack cheese
dinner
hamb,broc alfredo casserole.

CAN'T WAIT FOR MY WEIGH IN!!!!

Our night out went good. We ended up going to dinner and a movie. It was great and we had some great conversations. Its amazing how much we had to talk about. We resisited the popcorn!!! I'm going to make a low carb cake for DH and I as well this weekend. I just need to find a low carb angel food cake.
