Hi Lexi - what's your recipe for the cookies? Is it PB, egg and Splenda? Or is there more to it? Good for you for thinking about the holidays early and planning ahead!!! I will really need to watch it as I'm at my goal and maintaining, but I know me....I will starting eating and not stop for a week or two....maybe more. My goal is to have my "splurge" meals, but then go right back to low carb. So Thanksgiving, I'll give myself the GO to eat whatever I want for the ONE meal, but then go back to LC. Sounds Easy, right!!! LOL - My problem in the past has been that I would SAY I'm going to do that, but then it turns into a week of eating whatever I want. And the weight goes back on SO easy. UGH!!!! I can and will do this!!!!!

Edited to add: I can and WILL do my "splurge" plan. ( I reread what I posted, and it sounded like I was going to do the bad thing, not the good plan) LOL

Lisa-the cookies are that pb egg splenda recipe, i love them!

I have that problem too with the "splurge" and then can't get back on track thats why i've decided to not even go there. BUT if i were just maintaining i think i probably would allow myself to eat more carbs, i don't know though. Last time i was unsuccessful doing it that way boo

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

WEll my eyes are getting better my 5 year olds on the other hand are not, she woke up with both eyes matted shut and it looks like she got in a fight with a boxer. poor baby. Got some drops called in for her she should be good as new very soon! Baby boy is feeling much better He still can't cry very loud because he doesn't have a voice poor baby. And I am feeling better so happy! This weekend should be a ton of fun! I'm so happy that im feeling better and my kids are, i was worried this weekend would be ruined, but things are looking up!!!

weight still 240, wont budge! I'll probably be up when i get back on Monday but oh, i'll get under 240 here soon! And can't wait to work out.

Breakfast
scrambled eggs

atkins bar
lunch
jimmy johns unwich-lettuce wrapped sandwich
dinner
maybe kfc grilled chicken?

HI GUYS! OMG I've been SO SICK! Just now back at work, I have no time either have so much to do. Anyway want to hold myself accountable, I was home sick with no low carb food so i've been eating off diet. I'm not too worried about it because I fully intend on going to the grocery store and starting back up. It sucks big time but i don't want to beat myself up. I'm not carbo loading, but eating like sandwiches. Tonight i'll eat a low carb salad, just trying to balance until I can get my schedule back. I feel like ive let myself down BUT i didn't mean to get sick and definitely didn't mean to not have groceries. Plus i was just feeling awful. So thats about it. I'm sure my weight will take a hit but should be able to get back to where I was within a few weeks and WILL be going to the gym. Probably wont be on much, but expect to see me back full force on Monday... In life setbacks will happen its how you handle them that determines your outcome and your success, lets hope I handle this set back and get back to taking care of myself

Thanks Jarrod! Im in serious need of postive support right now. I know it sucked!!!! Poor skers! Wisc is so over rated!!!!! I'm going to the Ohio State game this weekend, can't wait to beat up on some buck eyes!

PHEW! So glad to be back! Looking foward to getting back into ketosis, hoping that it doesn't take me too long and doesn't take me too long to get back to where I was before. Weighed in at 248 today, not changing my weight on anything because i don't want to lol! My hubby is also happy to be back to low carb. Didnt make it to the grocery store but am going tonight after work to get low carb stuff. I really didn't enjoy eating all those carby foods. It made me feel bloated and uncomfortable. Plus I was hungry all the time. I did make it to my gym sat morning, I really enjoyed the work out. I am going to go tomorrow morning. Thursday morning and then either sat or sun morning this weekend. I'll be glad when baby boy is big enough for me to take him there while i work out.

Breakfast
scrambled eggs and sausage
lunch
pita less gyro?
dinner
unsure probably a casserole of some sort

Thanks Seth!!! Did you have any setbacks like mine during your AWESOME weight loss journey! Glad im getting back in the habit but still having difficulties dealing with the set back... maybe it will help teach me a lesson, which is not to allow that to happen again.

you go girl! we had some kick ass salmon at txlc this weekend! man that sounds so good! i'm still not on the scale, but i'm sticking to plan (not lc but a diet nontheless). keep it going girlie!

ps my gym still hasnt opened! stupid construction!

Lexi, when I was losing this past year there were several times I had setbacks. The thing that always worked for me was that I would try something new, be it a recipe or adding in some exercise. Everytime I started something new, it gave me that drive to keep going.

Thanks girl! You go too! mmm salmon is so good! My inlaws grill it over cedar planks OH MY GOD to die for! So glad i love it!
