Super on the shopping there is nothing like buying smaller sizes to make you feel better, and getting to shop at a store with normal sizes. There is no better feeling than shutting the door on Lane Giant and never going back! That is awesome about your friend and getting a plan. I will say make it work in the budget if you can to hire a personal trainer at least for a little bit to get you started it is really helpful and good money spent for improving your health!
Enjoy your family time today!!!
Good, I just felt so bad for you the other day. I'm glad that you have turned a corner. Awesome that you bought Mediums!!!!

I can't wait to be in 14's by summer. I think this week I will go to our gym and get a trainer. I need to kick my butt in gear.

WOO HOO, Thanks Amber.

213.2 today. At the end of 16 weeks. 47.8 lbs WOO HOO!!!

I really need to get off my butt and exercise. I just can't get motivated to do it. UGH.... I really want to tone as I go. Its just so dreary today. No excuses, I must exercise tomorrow. I may go to the gym while DS5 is in school and DS1 I can put in the gym daycare. I could see how that works until it gets warm here again.

Have a great day everyone. I'm heading out to the bank and pharmacy and take ds to school. Meeting tonight. Talk to you all later.

Melanie- so proud of you, did you ever think in 4 months you could lose almost 50 pounds? Its not that hard is it? You have a good plan you know what you need to do I cant wait to see you finish! I think you will enjoy a trainer and the motivation it will bring, or it should, once you start seeing the physical growth of lifting or endurance with cardio it will keep motivating you, it sure does for me.

LOL, not usually but I'm trying.

Scale was 213 today. Stayed the same and I am good with that. Probably from working out. I'm starting to get sore from all those butt exercises.

B: atkins shake caramel cafe yummo
L: Huge tossed salad
S: almonds
D: steak salad

I saw an ad. for gluten free zero carb bread. Found it at a local store. It said it won't affect blood sugar and won't kick u out of ketosis!!! I see a grilled cheese sandwich in my future!!! lol

Melanie- is it the Julian Bread? That stuff is soooo good, I have to order it like 6 loaves at a time, and its $8 but it never made me stall, I would only eat it once or twice a week. The Julian bread is delicious.
With all those breads, cheese, nuts some people can eat a crap load and lose others they stall, I eat a lot of almonds but if I ate too much cheese I would stall, you just have to see what works!
I am trying to be strict to see if I can acutally lose, it is so frustrating being so careful and I cant lose I just hover around the same, maybe when I can get back to working out it will budge!
Have a good day!

Maggie- google Julian Bread OMG they have like 3 or 4 that are low carb IMO the best of the low carb breads and so worth it. Another bread cheaper ad easier to find is the Ezekial 4:9 bread in the freezer, it is spelt I think no flour it has about 11 carbs but every now and then not as bad as even wheat bread, that is good too!

Its Julian bakery, search for that and it will come up.

So this morning I was 213 again. I was sure I would have lost atleast a lb beings how I had salads for both meals, but alas nothing. I didn't drink enough water and I had my favorite french dressing both times which is higher in carbs. I know working out will be better in the wrong way but it sucks that it makes the scale stop. Today I am going to do my butt/arm routine and then zumba tonight. My buttocks were killing me last night. Its a good burn though because it means I'm doing something right!!!

Don't stress hun, daily weighing kills you!!! Look at the week to week net loss of which I might say is super for you!!! Just do what you do and it will all result in a loss. Julian Bread is manna from heaven, another thing
Chatilas Sugar Free Bakery

OMG their stuff is so good not something to eat all the time, but hey sometimes you need a treat, and those cream filled donuts OMG, they are not like a donut more like whoppie pie, soooo good!

Oh goodness Amber bread is my weakness. I have make a minute muffin occasionally. I get a bad reaction to wheat I think like gas, lethergy, and just feel drained from it even though I like it. IDK-could I be gluten intolerant? I am not even sure gluten is an ingredient in wheat bread?

Spent the day working in my daughters room purging old toys and organizing so that we could put my other daughters bed in their and make the nursery my office. I was busy all day. Then went to Zumba. I didn't get my rear/arm routine in. Maybe tomorrow morning. I did take 2 lb hand weights with me to Zumba. They weren't alot but thats all I had.

I'm pooped!!! Going to grab DH and head to bed!!!

Maggie- any bread made with wheat usually has wheat gluten, you could very well have a gluten intolerance, you would have to try like the Ezekial bread and see if that is OK no wheat in there. Gluten is in most wheat breads!!

I figured it had Gluten in it. I know I read it did and some other bread products but I guess I have been in denial that it really effects me. I do like having the Minute Muffin with Flaxmeal in it and I will look into the Ezekial bread as well. Thank you for the information.

Melanie have a good Friday!

Holding still today. Not being obsessed just reporting. LOL

I went window shopping again yesterday and this is what I tried on!!!! Loved it but just not ready to buy yet. I want to lose more before I get new clothes. I don't have any 18's but I'm garage saleing it to find some good bargains. So far I've scored a pair of 18's for $5.

So a little of progress pics

WOW what a transformation, that is the stuff you need to keep going when the scale is not kind, just look at those and know you are doing all the right things, You seem short I have some 18's from last summer I think, but I think everything would be too long on you.
