Ugh, I'm sick, caught DD's intestinal flu. .
Got some diet ginger ale, and powerade 0.
Also have chicken broth and sf jello for when I feel hungry.
I can't keep anything in me, and in in ketosis. So we shall see how this goes.

Feeling better today got sick only once. Going to try a sf jello here in a bit.
Peaked at the scale today and I'm down 10.2lbs since I started a week ago. We will see what happens when I start eating again. May go up a bit. I only had two shakes yesterday and I'm in deep ketosis. My jeans that were really tight are fitting now! .

Hey Amber, nice to see you too!

Today was a good day. No more sickness (knock wood), I ended up having 2 sf jellos, a handful of peanuts, some diet ginger ale, powerade 0, water, a half of a string cheese, and broth with a few pieces of chicken in it.

Feeling wonderful!!!!! I've been peaking at the scale and today 11 days in I am 14.8 down!!!!! I have been in dark ketosis the whole time and I think that's the difference!!!!! I've been really strict this time and making everything and not eating it unless I know what's in it!!!! I'm also not eating a lot. I'm eating but not a lot at each meal. Just what I need to be satisfied. Not full!
TOM came the other day, and I'm a little puffy.

Looking forward to seeing what this week brings!

I would like to add a disclaimer to the above post..
I did carb load for a few days prior to starting so the starting number I'm using included the carb load. I'm guessing it might be off by about 3 lbs.

Had a good day yesterday, went to the store on way to Inlaws house to visit and picked up ribeye steaks for dinner, was so excited to have them on the grill.
Hubby decided to cook them on George foreman and they were crap, I forgot how much I do not like food cooked on those things. Ruined two perfect looking steaks.
I ate it still of course, but just wasn't what I was hoping for.

Way to go!! You're off to an excellent start!
Nooo, not the Foreman grill! That gets rid of all the good stuff! Steak & asparagus is one of my favorite low carb meals. We definitely don't go the light route though, my hubby tops them off with extra butter...

Tonight was a busy night, took kids swimming after school and then to dinner And then grocery shopping for the week.
Scored a great deal on Atkins shakes. Found bonus packs of cafe caramel for the same price, so now instead of having 32 shakes for the week we have 48!!!! Score!! dh and I both drink one a day usually!

Oh and I forgot. My aunt made toasted pecans for Christmas and they were Delish. I came across a lc recipe yesterday so I got them today and making this week!

And I splurged tonight at dinner and got french dressing on my grilled chicken salad. I know, bad bad but its my favorite!!!! Praying it doesn't do much!

Whew, what a day. Spent all afternoon yesterday getting out clothes from attic and today organizing and cleaning out closets. I'm exhausted.

So I asked this out on the main lobby.
How bad in he grand scheme of it is French dressing. I love it, always have. I try to have my salads with something else but I just don't like it as much.

I try to limit how much I have and alternate with Caesar when possible, but have had twice in the two past days. Tomorrow is weigh in day and I haven't had a chance to check keto sticks today to see where the dressing put me.

What do you think?

Tomorrow is weigh day.

Oye, I need to clean out closets soon...not looking forward to that at all! Good for you for getting ahead!

Mmmmmm I love roasted asparagus...esp with some garlic and some lemon Bummer about the steaks, but gotta love a man who's more than willing to help out!

I found the bonus packs of the shakes too... that's always fun to find some bargains when you least expect it! I like having those available when I'm either feeling lazy or not prepared with ingredients to create a shake in my blender.. at least I know it will keep me on track!

You're doing great, lady!

Hello ladies, so just up a little bit ago or the 2nd time. It's rainy and yucky here today so after I got dd6 on bus to school I crawled back in bed for a little more. We are supposed to be getting snow today but I will believe it when I see it.

I'm puffy today, not enough water lately and had taco meat last night and I'm pretty sure the sodium did it.

Weighed in today. I'm down 16 lbs in 2 weeks!!!!! . Woo hoo!

Need to figure out something good for dinner tonight. I'm bored with what we have and should probably head to he store before the snow comes in case I'm snowed in tomorrow.

Whew I am stuffed!!!!

Dinner consisted of bAked cheesy pork chops and mushrooms,
Then I was roasted some pecans during dinner, was going to have 1/4 cup for a treat and could t even eat half. So yummy.

I came across a lc sweet roasted pecan recipe on Pinterest and tried it. It was good, but I need to add more butter next time and maybe a little sweetener.

Noticed as I was sitting in the locker room after the kids were swimming that they have a class in the morning. Finally a way to fit me into the crazy routine!!! .

Excellent weigh-in! Way to go! I hope you enjoyed your class today -- Zumba always looks so fun, but I'm too embarrassed for that one because I'm so uncoordinated. I was a ballet drop-out even at the age of 3, because I just didn't get it. Haha! I bet there's a low carb French dressing recipe out there somewhere... I love that stuff too.

Have a great weekend!
