Happy I am wondering if you would share with me what you are eating? I have been at a stall for a little while now. You are on a roll and I am just wondering if it is something that I am eating that maybe I should avoid. How many carbs are you eating each day???

Monday:
B:atkins shake
L: chicken breast sandwich with mayo
D: Italian meatloaf and salad
S: 1/4 cup almonds

Tuesday:
B: SCrambled eggs international coffee french vanilla mix no sugar, no caffeine, no calories Tastes just like coffee.
L: Green pepper
D: burger patty with mayo

Wed:
B: Atkins shake
L: 5 celery sticks and turkey breast lunch meat
D: chicken breast with mozzarella cheese and hunts tomato sauce and salad.
handful of peanuts

If I snack I will have a few beef bites, sugar free jello, peanuts or almonds and if I haven't already had an atkins product for the day some times an endulge bar. We had the peanut butter cups last week and the chocolate mouse ones this week.

I also eat sausage links for breakfast or to snack on. And we love to make a pizza bake, with sausage, mozzarella cheese, sauce and any toppings. If we put any meat like a roast or cube steaks in the crock pot we just season them with seasoning salt and garlic salt.

I'm making a mexican meatloaf for dinner tomorrow night.

I am also getting atleast 60 oz of water in each day and am striving for 120 oz a day. I also do zumba once a week.

8.6 lbs to go to my next goal!!!! In 9 days. .7 lbs a day. I'm sure going to try for it.

Then another 8 lbs by my cruise. So 16.6 lbs in 23 days. to my goal by cruise.

I tried on some summer clothes for my cruise tonight. Things fit better than they did this summer, but I was hoping that they wouldn't fit at all.

Thanks so much for sharing ..... I think my problem was I was going to low carb for my bodies liking....... My sister eats super low carb like mostly meat and 1 veggie a day and her weight is just falling off.

Yesterday I upped my carb intake a little and woke up this AM to being down one lbs its such a great feeling

I guess my body does better when I don't eat that way.... I am thinking I need to stay between 25 to 30 carbs a day.

I have been stuck at 186 for about a week and a half now but finally seen 185 this morning. If I can just get to 20lbs total gone!!!!! I know I can do this!!

Hello..... Sulks into the room. I cheated today. I feel terrible about it, but I woke up this morning and we were out of shakes. Note too self. Don't be out of shakes. I didn't want eggs for breakfast, so I had a piece of wheat toast 8carbs and a thin layer of peanut butter. I quit counting carbs at this point.... Then once I had that ,I planned my next meal..... PIZZA. I feel like crying because I cheated, but I thought it out and went for it. I had a personal pan cheese pizza today for lunch. I'm sure I am out of ketosis. Not going to dwell on it though. Right back at it. Going grocery shopping tonight. SO theres for being honest. I don't even know why I did it.

Before cheating, I was 228.8 this morning. Wondering what this will do to me??

Thank you, BrandNewMe. I checked, I'm not in ketosis. I need to get back there. BOO HISS!!!! But I am back at it today. Boy going off plan is really hard. All day, I kept thinking, well I could just have ________, and then start again tomorrow. But I didn't.

Oh and I have a pair of jeans on that I haven't worn in a long time. The last time I had them on, they fit but were tight. Today I pulled them out of the closet and zipped up first try. Its things like this that make me stick with this. And how about hello cheek bones, I haven't seen you in oh about six years. LOL

Good luck Melanie with getting back into ketosis! You're right, it's no fun at all to slip out of it. Suddenly all sorts of foods start calling our names and it seems so tempting to eat them all and restart the next day. You're doing great though!!

Amber~ Thanks. I'm getting back into the swing of things. Wow, what a struggle, but the good thing is that I am working through the struggle and getting back to it. In the past I would just give up. Not going to happen this time!!!

So since the scales aren't moving currently, I will share some non scale accomplishments. I am in clothes that I haven't been able to wear in 4 - 5 years.

Went to Zumba tonight and it was awesome!!! Boy did our instructor kick our butts.

Wow, I hate to even say this. I love Jessica Simpson and mean no ill will by this, but wow, she is huge!!!! Poor girl is going to have a hard time getting rid of her baby weight. From the way it looks, she has gained in more places than just her belly. Whoa.

227.6 today!!!! A new low!!! Total lost 33.4!!

I am getting stuff ready for my cruise and I'm starting to get excited, but a little apprehensive as well.

Excited because I went up in the attic and found clothes that fit me. These clothes haven't fit me in years. Most 5 years and some 7 years. WOW!!!
I found shirts that I wore when Jason and I were first dating. Outfits I wore before having kids. Jean capris I wore on my honeymoon and the fact that I can fit in them again and I'm at this weight now, only cements that its my time to lose the weight and keep it off for good!!!!

I am going to be wearing skirts and a dress while on the cruise. I haven't worn a skirt or dress for about 6 years. Crazy!!! I put on one of my skirts today and actually liked how my legs looked.

Now I am apprehensive because I know that it will be hard to stick to plan. It is vacation after all. I plan on keeping low carb as much as possible and only indulging on occasion.

Ok so I didn't make my 4th goal, mostly because I wasn't drinking enough water, and then had a cheat day. So I need to revamp my goals and get reenergized!!!!

So 4th Goal= 220 by March 23rd. 11 days to lose 7.6 lbs!!!

This green shirt was among the pile of clothes I tried on today. It fit, not like it did in this picture, but I'm guessing that in 15 more lbs it will!!!

I need to check my ketosix in the am. I am sure I am in ketosis and can't wait until the whoosh fairy comes along and takes a few key pounds!!!!
I think I need to eat some more fat that seems to have helped in the past. So tomorrow more fat. LOL

Hubby and I need to reconnect. We have both been on this disconnect lately and I'm not sure why. It makes me sad though. When we started this weight loss journey together 10 weeks ago, we were encouraging each other, loving each other, working together for the common goal, now we are both doing our own things and I am trying to encourage him but he just isn't giving me anything back so I feel hurt and like whats the use. I just read a post by a friend on here that talked about kissing and how you can never get enough and it made me sad because we have no passion right now.

Ah Melanie makes me a tad sad to read this but been there done that. Marriages go up and down and I am sure you know. I am glad that you felt compfortable enough to post this on LCF and look for some support. I have been married 24 years now and believe you me we have been where you and hubby are now. I know the feeling of being hurt when encouraging our significant other to better themselves. I love feeling connected to hubby on a common thing and when it isn't returned I too can get a bit hurt. I now know that he doesn't intentionally do that to me and I have to remember that even if he isn't on board I can be on board for myself. Passion? Your bodies are going through an adjustment and you will have times when the passion seems low but it can always change. It is just my opinion but give to him because you want to give and if he has a hard time returnning just give it some time. I am sure he loves you but maybe he is going through something he isn't willing to share at the moment. Men I believe have a harder time than women expressing themselves so hopefully he will eventually open up to you. I am sure the cruise will be wonderful for you two(is this a work cruise or a cruise for the 2 of you?).
I am sure I haven't helped but just wanted you to know that you are NOT alone in this marriage stuff.

Thank you it helped alot to hear others go through it. Its a day to day thing with us. We haven't made time for each other like we should and we both need to work on it. Last night we were able to sit down and just talk and it was really nice. Now the passion, hoping that comes back soon.

Now for the cruise, its a work cruise and he could have went with me, but he chose not too because he couldn't get off work and didn't want to give up his overtime that he is getting. I am sad that he won't be with me, but a friend of mine that also works with me and her husband couldn't go so we are rooming together. The cruise in itself could be creating some underlying ripples. Even though he initially said that I should go even without him because I earned it, maybe now he is having second thoughts and either wishes he was going, or that I wasn't. Its too late to do anything about it at this point. So all we can do is just get through it.

Let me just say I love ketosis!!!!! I am back in ketosis and the weight is starting to come off again!!!! Yesterday and today I was down.

[/b]225 as of today I have lost 2.6 lbs this week, for a total of 36 lbs lost!!!! [/b]

Yesterday this is what I ate.
B: Atkins shake
L: double cheese Burger with mayo and pickle
D: piece of taco meatloaf
2 pieces of celery
cup of mushrooms

S: 10 almonds sugar free jello with reddi whip

More water today!!!

Woo hoo, I finally got to tan today. I have been trying to get to tan since I reached my third goal and its so hard to get someone to watch my little girl. So today I finally got to go. A friend of mine is going to watch the little one everyday for the next week while I run to tan. WOO HOO!!! I only bought a weeks worth and it was only 12.95. Not bad!!! Started out at 12 minutes and should have a good base tan by the time I leave for the cruise next Friday!!!

Awesome, sounds like everyone had a great day!!!!

I had a good day, but didn't eat enough.
B: was an atkins shake
L: Side caesar salad
D: Ham and cheese
S: Atkins shake 3 oz cream cheese with pkt of splenda

Lunch we were out and about running errands so I decided to take the kids to the pizza hut buffet. I was planning on getting a salad and wings. Looked at the nutritional info and their wings have 4 carbs per wing... I said no way and just got a side salad. Boy oh boy was it hard not eating the pizza. I don't think we will be doing that too much. Way to tempting for me. Then for dinner, I had a party tonight and on the way to it I was hoping to stop and get a burger without a bun, but there wasn't anywhere to stop on the way. So they had ham and cheese sandwiches, so I just took the meat off of 2 of them and ate that. Then got home and had a shake and 3 oz of cream cheese heated up with a packet of splenda.

So I am going to bed hungry but not starving. I need to eat a big old steak tomorrow!!! : )

5 days until I leave for my cruise!!! I can't wait. So much to do this next week. Pack, get all my documents together, get the kids outfits set out... list goes on. I need to get off of here and get to it.
