Cough is now a somewhat productive cough and I am sniffly. Ugh. It's cold and snowy here. Didn't do much today but run in town to get dd5 from school and got gas and diapers. In for the rest of the night. Kids are supposed to go to my moms tonight for a sleepover and then be are supposed to go to Columbus to see my sister tomorrow. Not sure we will now that the weather is so crappy. I'm glad tomorrow is an UD, less explaining I will have to do.


2.6 down this week since last Friday. So far I have just had warm tea to drink today. I'm on my 2nd cup of it. I really wanted a steak salad from our fav. Place tonight...but I am thinking it might be toasted cheese sandwich and chicken noodle soup instead.

I'm starting to feel human again. Friday night I ended up getting the shivers. I had a fleece sweatshirt sweatpants and socks on. Then went and got in bed and covered up with comforter, sheet and fleece blanket and was still shivering. I was able to fall asleep... Woke up two hours later and I was so hot.... Stripped off some of the layers and took some more medicine. Woke up the next day and was feeling ok. Went with my mom and kids to visit my sister for the day. Yesterday I laid around all day and didn't feel so great. Today I'm doing better.

Through all this I was able to stick with my rotations and I am down 2.6 lbs since sat morning. I was so shocked to see I had lost so much this morning. I didn't weight yesterday because I just didn't feel like it.

Melanie. Good job with the pounds lost!! You can work any plan it seems. I'm sorry you've been sick though. It seems everyone is sick and I'm praying this bug passes my house. All the other bugs this year have already attacked my family. Ugh.

Amber. I was worried about being able to do well. I guess it's all in putting your mind to it. I hope the bug stays away. It's not fun.

CeeCee. Thanks. I am feeling better but still a little yucky.

So yesterday I had ran some errands and got some stuff done around the house but not a lot. Planned on doing a good bit today. DH woke up last night and was in a really crabby mood. He said he just isn't sure if JUDDD is for him and he thinks he should go back to Atkins. I said ok. That's fine. I'm liking it but will support you in what you want. He said he has just been back and forth with the same few lbs. he's also been working out too though. I am helping him figure out his calories and I'm pretty sure we have been close. But maybe he h went over. Plus he had two orders of wings on Saturday. I told him he had tons of sodium and needs to drink more water. What a grouch. He made some comment about eating junk on our UD's. I told him that's been our choice...but we could eat whatever we wanted. Hoping for a better day today.

If it doesn't work for him doing Atkins is fine too. I always make plans and then something changes so now I just go with the flow. I know I need to just get this darnned weight off and whatever works and is basically healthy I am all for it. I have been walking daily and the scale doesn't want to be my friend so I know how he feels. Yep, chugging down water helps alot with water retention and if he exercises you now he's retaining it. I know I do. Oh well, not going to stop walking for any number on the scale been there done that. Taking this thing one day at a time and I know you both will find what works best for you. I guess it will be better if DH goes back to what he's comfortable with, then that way he can stop being grouchy He's lost pretty consisently with Atkins, no? I'm sure if he has it's frustrating to watch the scale while on JUDDD..it is not for the faint of heart, that's fo' sho'!

Good morning girls. I'm hungry and looking forward to eating on this UD. I'm doing good on rotations this week. I haven't drank enough water the last two days and I can tell I'm retaining some water. Going to chug some water me see if the scale moves again. I have lost 3 lbs for the week, but it hasn't moved since Monday. I skipped Zumba yesterday. I still wasn't feeling 100% and figured I would give it a week. Plus it was freezing. It's freezing again today. Not sure we will heading out at all or not. May just stay in and keep warm.

Danielle and Magie. So far dh has decided to stay with JUDDD. I don't know if he will change his mind or not, but for now that's the plan. I told him if he wants to go back to atkins he can.

Just got back from Olive Garden... Ate way too much. Hopefully not more than 1000 calories. Looking forward to my down day.

Being snacky is an everday occurance for me so that is why I haven't tried JUDDD, yet. I never say never to any plan. I am sure your MD will be okay so hang in there. I decided to take my weightloss journey one day at a time even when I make plans and IF I mess it up on the day then the next day I just get back to the original plan and leave yesterday behind and just go on. My mind changes from day to day so at this point for me stiking to any one particular way causes me more anxiety about losing so I end up chucking the whole thing and go way overboard on my eating. JUDDD at this point for me would be too hard but I see that so many have great success with it. I know you will too.
