I was happy to check your page just now and see you are still going strong. congratulations on all your weight loss AND more importantly maintaining what you've lost so far! yay! i'm still going strong on my low calorie, tracking everything i eat and i've become so much more active. anyway happy to see you're still thriving!

Hello my dear friends!!! I can't believe its been so long that I have been here. I have been so busy with life that I just haven't been online as much. DS5 is doing great in kindergarten and we are all adjusting to our routines.

I haven't been low carb for about a month. I am watching what I eat though and not eating tons of crap. I am throwing around the idea of weight watches for these last 30 lbs. I did well on weight watchers when I did it and I like the program for the variety of the foods. Or may just do lowcarb more but bring in more foods. So as of now I am not losing any weight. Just maintaining what I have lost and trying to see where I am going next.

Mel - good job maintaining. That's fantastic that you're finding success with that, even with added carbs. Maybe give your body another week or two and restart lc one more time and then after two weeks, start climbing the carb rungs. You'll prob get a nice whoosh since you've been eating carbs. I also like juddd, if you want to watch cals more.

CeeCee~ I will let you know what I decide. I am looking into it now. I think the plan has changed again since the last set of books I have from a year and a half ago.

Amber~ You are right. That sounds good too. Still trying to get it all figured out.

Maggie~ Are those your legs??? DD is doing wonderful and we are all benefiting from a schedule. Its been great!!! WW is appealing, but I'm not sure. Just trying to figure it out.

Have no plans to post a picture until I feel comfortable and not until DS can show me how. Most of the pictures I have are already on my computer so I post what I have. You can see a 250 lb. me in my profile so you have an idea of what my lovely face looks like. I will most likely post a picture when I get to my ultimate goal which will be awhile. Hi Melanie!

Glad to hear that things are going well for you!

I think it's good to shake things up a little with weight loss/maintaining methods. Weight Watchers sounds like a good thing from what I have heard about it. I know personally that adding in a few carbs, especially early in the day, has helped me break my stall that I had for about 6-8 weeks. Good luck to you with whatever path you choose.

I feel like maintainence is as hard if not harder than the losing itself. YOU HAVE TO KEEP IT UP!! nothing worse is getting so far and then falling back into old habits/patterns. it will creep back up FAST! You are doing so great!!

i like the WW idea. I'm alot happier with my low calorie exercise routine that i've been doing this last few months, i'm seeing losses every week and not feeling in the least bit deprived. I'm not doing WW, just using a tracker on my phone and tracking everything that passes my lips and using exercise to help the process along feeling good and looking good! nothing can beat that!
