Glad you and hubby were able to pass on the cake. I know this WOE can get hard and their will be many parties of some form or other. If you are hungry EAT. Eat things that are on plan however I have my days as well believe you me but the cravings are pretty much gone just some age old bad habits.

I am so glad you tried the Leslie video, I have the 1-3 mile tapes and haven't used them in awhile because I got a treadmill for myself and hubby. I use it 4-5 days a week and have been tracking my miles so as to show that there are some positive changes I have made in my life. I like tracking because sometimes the scale can show a negative and tracking my walking miles show all the positive I am doing for my health.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to walking this journey with you to a healthier, happier us!

Ok, well Tomorrow is start of week 3 and onto extended induction!!! I am doing well. I have lost 9 lbs total!!! TOM is here. So I am kind of checking the scale, but not getting mad. I didn't eat enough today, I am sure of that. I need to plan better when I am going to be out.

The girls and I went to my friends house for a little bit and they played with her kids. Then me and the girls went to the mall. I was hunting for a HOT outfit for the weekend. I have a conference to go to for my job and I sell jewelry so we go all out!!! Talk about Diva's and who can look the best and come up with the best jewelry combo!! So we were all over the mall. I wanted a new shirt and shoes. We were there long enough that the girls had a snack and dinner. I had nothing until we got home. I did however find the most cutest black shirt and awesome shoes!!! I wanted the black shirt but they only had a 1X and had a 3X in the silver. So I took both of them to try on and they both fit good in their own way. I was so surprised that the Black 1X one fit and looked good. As for the shoes, they were made for the shirt. They almost matched. Black peep toe high heels. I am going to walk around in them for a few days b4 I leave and make sure they don't kill my feet. Boy oh boy are they cute!!! I will try and get some pictures of me Rocking it, even at 252!!!

I walked all over the mall today, but didn't do my walk away the lbs tape. Tomorrow. I know, sometimes its the little things, but I love the fact that my rings are loose and my fingers aren't swollen!!! WOO WOO!!!

So my phone is out in the kitchen and I'm all comfy here, so I will post my goals tomorrow.

Wooo, what a week and its only Tuesday. I have been running all over creation getting things ready and tying up loose ends before I go away for the weekend. I'm a little worried that I won't be able to find enough things to eat. I am packing Atkins shakes and veggies to have on hand just in case.

I have ate like crap the last two days. On plan no cheats and still in ketosis, but just haven't had time for my usual stuff.

As of this morning, my start of week 3. Current weight 250 and have lost 11 lbs!!!

Here are my goals that I have set for myself. I need to figure out rewards for myself, but honestly I will just be thrilled to meet these goals reward or not!!!

1. Make it thru 2 weeks of induction... Check
2. 12.5 lbs by Feb. 3rd (total of 20 lbs lost) 241
3. 10 lbs by Feb. 21 (total 30 lbs) 231 reward start tanning for cruise!!
4. 10 lbs by march 9th (40 lost) 221
5. 8 lbs by March 23rd (48 lbs lost) 213 Just in time for my cruise!!!
6. 8 lbs by April 6th (56 lbs lost) 205
7. 8 lbs by April 20 (64 lbs lost) 197 In Onederland just in time for Spring and New Beginnings!!!
8. 8 lbs by May 4 (72 lbs lost) 189
9. 10 by May 22 (82 lbs lost) 179
10. 8 by June 5 (90 lbs lost) 171
11. 8 by June 19 (98 lbs lost) 163
12. 8 by July 3 (106 lbs lost) 155 My birthday!!! What a new life to celebrate!!!
13. 5 by July 17 (111 lbs lost) 150 GOAL!!!!

249.5 today!!! woo hoo!!! I am in the 40's!!! total lost:11.5

I am just checking in real quick before I head to bed. I won't be on much the next couple of days as I will be out of town for a convention. I am packing Atkins shakes and veggies to keep me on plan.

245.4 -4.1 lost since last check in. total lost 15.6

Did good while I was away. Only 4.4 lbs to go for my 2nd goal by Feb. 3rd for a total loss of 20 lbs!!!

This is my official end to week 3!!! Week 4 starts tomorrow and I am 4.4 away from my 2nd goal of 20 lbs lost!!! Woo hoo!!!

It was so hard not weighing myself and not having my ketostix while I was gone to be able to see where I was. I am so proud of myself though and thank god for my atkins shakes. They really helped fill in when I was hungry!!! I got some new motivation this weekend too. Not only do I have my cruise in March, but now I have a Red Dress ball that I have been invited to when I go to Texas in July!!! I can't wait to go dress shopping for my dress!!!

My February goals: Get more exercise in. lose 16 lbs by Feb. 28th. For a total loss of 31 lbs. and be 230.

These mini goals are so awesome and are making me stick with the plan to see the end of the tunnel!!! I love them so much I'm setting mini goals in my business as well to get to my big goal!!!

Thanks girls!!!! I can't wait to start shopping. I am going to wait a little bit longer to see how much I am losing on average so I know about what size I need to get!!!!

As of this morning, day 1 of week 4 244.4 16.6 lbs lost!!!

Just popping in to read your story! You are doing so well!!! Keep up the good work!!! BTW you are beautiful! Your hubby is a lucky man!! It is so neat to hear that you two are doing this together, My husband is skinny as a bean pole. So I am at this alone.... but I did my best a few years ago all on my own dropped 75lbs and I am back to loose the weight again!

243!!!! Total lost 18 lbs!!! Only 2 more lbs from my 2nd goal!!! Come on, mama wants a manicure!!!!

I'm doing good. Plugging right along. My daughters are sick and I think I'm getting it. My glands are swelling up. I went to a kickboxing class on Wednesday and it was so, so. I definitely got a workout because I was sore, but it wasn't enough cardio for me. Then Thursday night I went and did Zumba!!! Loved it!!! Definitely going to do that again!!!

Aww, thanks Liz,you are so sweet. I definitely don't hear that enough. It is great doing this with hubby, but we need a kick in the pants. We are both just going along with it and I'm afraid we are going to get bored. I need to find some new recipes. You are not alone, you have all of us. We are going to rock this this year!!!

Lize~It is definitely not easy, but we will do this!!!! I need to have more ready to make meals in the house. I hate to cook and the Atkins shakes are helping in a pinch as well!!!!

242.6 as of this morning!!!! 18.4 lost and 1.6 more until my 2nd goal!!! End of week 4 total lost 18.4 lbs!!! Onto week 5!!! WOO HOO!!!
I thought I would have been there by now, but how can I lose weight when I'm not eating enough, not drinking enough water??? I just get so lazy on the weekends. I however, will be this week and before my deadline!!! Can't wait until I reach it and I can go get my gel manicure!!!!

Went to Zumba tonight!!! Woo hoo is all I can say. I love this class!!! Its like I'm going to the club but sweating my butt off way more. The 45 minute class flies by so fast that I wish it was longer. I have been drinking tons of water today and sure hoping that the whoosh fairy will come visit me tonight!!!

I saw this post in another journal and it caught my eye!!! You can do this Liz!!!! Just picture the way that you want to look this summer and keep that image with you at all times. Find pictures of yourself that you don't like the way that you look...., Find pictures of your "ideal body" and post it all over your house. This is about the time I start struggling as well and we just need to remind ourselves of the final goal and stick with it!!!!

That is a great idea!!! I defiantly have lots of picture I can use to motivate myself!! You are such a great motivator!!! I am going to do this!!! I try and remind myself of how good I felt before when I lost all the weight!! I just need patience!! One day at a time!! Thanks for the support my friend

Hey Melanie! Good morning! I'm glad you came over and joined the induction group I'm in. Participation fluctuates but it's a great group of women. I love the goals you have listed in your signature line. I had similar stuff last year when I did atkins but have not reset goals since I have to relose another 20 pounds to get to where I was first. Once I see 245, I'll be redoing that.

Almost to that first goal! My son's gf gets gel nails and she loves them. Give us a pic when you get them done! Feels really good to see yourself conquer those goals, huh? Keep it up you're doing great!!

WOW, I have never had anyone tell me this before!!!! I am so humbled and so glad that I am able to motivate you guys!!!! I don't know what it is, but I just have a feeling that this is MY YEAR and nothing is going to stop me!!!!

It also helps that my little sister, who was always heavier than me, got healthy a few years ago and is rocking it and she told me the first week I started, "Well I hope you stick with it!!!" I keep hearing that in my head. Don't get me wrong, I am definitely doing this for myself but it helps that I can prove to her that I can stick with it as well!!!

Liz~ You betcha!!! Glad that I can help!!!

Amber(Right?)~ Do it now, don't let that 20 lbs hang over your head as a negative. Set your goals for this weight. It really helps to take a bite out of the big number, chunk by chunk. You can do it!!!

Oh ya!!! This morning weigh in...... 240.8!!!!! Total lost 20.2 lbs!!!! Now all I have to do is schedule my manicure!!!! I'm telling you ladies. Make sure that you are drinking your water!!! I totally believe thats what helped the whoosh fairy show up last night!!!! I haven't been getting in my water and had been retaining water and I did get in enough water yesterday and whoosh!!!

b: 2 scrambled eggs
S: 1 green pepper and 2 celery sticks
L: 5 sausage links and 2 oz velveeta cheese
D: chicken breast with cheese and tossed salad with ranch dressing
S: 6 almonds 2 beef sticks and kiwi strawberry sugar free jello.
80 oz water!
