One more post and then I'm heading out for the day. DD5 has her kindergarten dr. appt. today with shots. Oh joy.

So I have lost 61.8 lbs since 1-3-12 (22 weeks)!!! And I haven't seen this number on the scale in 9 years!!!! Crazy isn't it!!!

I love all of you and your support. It has helped so much. Friday we went out to dinner and I used to love the cheesesticks at this place. I almost gave in and ordered some but resisited because I knew that I was so close to the scale dropping and didn't want to have something bad and then mess it up. Thats a step in the right direction!!!! Not wanting to cheat because of messing up the progress!!!

I realized that I set my goals, but didn't set my reward!!!! Since I have met two now and no reward..... I'm guessing I deserve a massage and pedicure!!!! Now just to find the time to do it.

Hey Melanie!

Way to go, girlfriend!!! I am so proud of you and your "loss"! (Still feels funny to me to congratulate someone on a "loss" ) You have worked SO HARD and it was definitely worth it. And, by the way, great job resisting those cheese sticks. I LOVE any form of fried cheese products too. But it's not worth the guilt and the poundage, is it?

Continue to enjoy your TRIUMPHANT day and start thinking of rewards for yourself...you certainly deserve it!

Thanks Amber!!! Oh that picture was a bugger. I couldn't take the picture while on the scale because holding the camera in my hand made the scale go up!!! It was driving me crazy!!! Then I was getting numbers all over the place, even got a 198.8. But claimed the 199.2 because it was consistent.
You will get there and I will be waiting to celebrate with you!!!

Good morning girls!!! Well it wasn't a fluke like I was afraid it would be. I was so afraid that this morning the scale would say 2's again. But alas it was still 199!!!!

Not much going on here today. Going to the health store again to pick up the bread I ordered. Not sure if I will eat it right now, but will have it in the freezer. Its zero carb bread and then huge bagels that have 6 carbs. I figured I would have a half of one for 3 carbs. I need to check the label again on the bagels but when I looked at it the other day it had all good flour and no hidden sugars. Will probably wait to be deeper in the 90's to try them. Or even the 80s.

Heading over to the exercise tag thread to figure out an exercise for the day and then going to figure out what other exercise I am going to do for the day.

Well I just had to tell you I just set here for two hours and read your entire journal. I found myself reading faster and faster as you got closer and closer to Onederland!

This is a great blog. I am so glad I found it. I am beyond excited for you crossing over into Onderland.

I am also trying your meatballs in tomato sauce recipe... I was Italian in another life and LOVE a good LC meal that is Italian.

Gracie~ You should givie it a try. I haven't had any problems with it.

So I went to the Health food store and got the bread and bagels. Today is Dh's Birthday so I also got a sugar free cupcake mix and a pint of low carb icecream. The brownies are 17 carbs if cut into 8 pieces, so I am going to cut in 16 squares and it will be 8.5 carbs right???? The ice cream is cookies and cream, his favorite, and 1/2 cup has 4 carbs. We have gift cards to the outback so we are going there for dinner with the kiddos. I was going to have the caesar salad but after looking up ingredients it looks like it has way too many carbs. So I may just get vinegar and oil. We will see. I don't want to push myself into the 200's so will be extra careful.

Have a great time tonight lady!! How's the hubbs doing on plan? Mine's doing pretty dang well. He's been eating grapes at night with some cheese and in hog heaven The scale hasn't reflected as huge a loss as I'd suspect, but his clothes are getting really baggy already.

Aww, Thanks so much Cary. I am honored that you found it so interesting. That is a lot of reading. Thank you so much for the kind words. It has been a process for sure, but a good one and one that I am learning on. As I am sure you just read. I am here to support as well and will cheer you on as you get close to your goals as well.

You are bas ass.

The caesar is fine. The croutons are what gives it a high carb count. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I love their grilled chicken with green beans or Alice chicken. I always do the caesar salad.

Hello Melanie! How are you this fine evening? Hope all is well!

I'm glad to hear that your DH is hanging in there and trying to eat better. Mine "made me" fall of the wagon tonight and I am not happy with him. He came home bearing Mexican and chocolate cake---not exactly on the LC plan, right?? I'm sad to say that I am not a happy camper. Oh well, live and learn, right?

Amber.. I'm a bass ass?? I don't know about even being bad ass.
I figured it was the croutons and of course didn't have any of those.

Jenna.. Oh no Mexican and chocolate cake.... What was the occasion? I would have been mad too.

Had a good night out. I had a 6 oz filet, caesar salad, and 1/4 serving of my hubbies sweet potato fries with cheese and bacon on them with 1tbsp of sour cream. Oh my gosh.... Yummy.. Drank two glasses of water. DH went way overboard, but he has to deal with that..... After dinner we walked thru a car show and saw some really nice ones. Then home to have Dh's birthday cake and ice cream. The sugar free brownies and lc ice cream. I had one small piece of brownie... it wasn't that good. and one taste of the ice cream. It was terrible and tasted like paste. Praying the scale isn't up in the morning. But if it is, oh well. It won't be up much. It was nice sitting there at dinner and comparing what we would have done in the past year. We usually got the onion appetizer... not this time. We did let her bring the bread for the girls, but didn't have any and in the past would have had two loaves gone by the time our entree came. We are definitely changing our lifestyle for sure!!!!

I did my exercise for the day today as well. I need to get in some more cardio tomorrow.
