Danielle~ For him I would say to try nuts, or cream cheese warmed up with splenda or on celery. Do you cook in butter? We do. Like maybe if he's still hungry after dinner he could have either 2 scrambled eggs or fried eggs. I usually put a tablespoon of butter in the pan to melt before I put the eggs in.

Thanks on the measurements... I was suprised.

Cassidy~ You mean 14 is great!!! Get one it really does make a difference to see when the scale isn't moving as much.

Maggie~ Thanks.

Yep, use butter for eggs and cooking in general. He came home for lunch and he said he'd eat cream cheese right off a spoon, so we'll see Gonna go get some pistachios and some almonds and see if those help too.

SO thrilled about those numbers of yours, I told you!!

Danielle~ Good luck to your hubby. Report back later. As for mine, after dinner he says to me, I don't feel good, I feel like I'm going to throw up. Do you feel good? I said ya, why. I then asked him what he ate after he got home from work before dinner. Oh he said, half a bag of pork rinds, 2 handfuls of peanuts, a handful of peperoni, a piece of cheese and 2 glasses of diet pop..... Really??? That makes me want to be No wonder he wasn't feeling good. When will he get it???

Nikki~ Hello.

Texas~ Ok. I will go do it.... Thanks.

He doesn't take much. about all he takes is an atkins shake. He needs to work on that some more. I buy stuff for him to take but he doesn't. Another reason why he is starving when he gets home from work!!! Oy!!

Oh I am going to be :sore: tomorrow.

I did my workout earlier. Then my tagged exercise... (More arms) I can feel it already.

Someone else is tagged!!!! Check your journals!!

You are doing terrific! Keep it up! I never measure! I let my clothes do that for me! I am about ready to pass my L tops that I still wear for around the house to Becky...she has a lot going up top and can fill them in... But I MUST find some smaller bras! Even my Slikies ones are way too big & fit more like a tube top with straps. UGH! My 14 shorts feel so baggy but I dont want to spend $ I dont really have on stuff for around the house (I only leave home for town maybe 1 time a week)...

The equipment is in the garage because my exercise room is now the kids family room & the garage is in still a moving disarray with things they need to take to storage ect. They have not fully moved out of their house yet and need to do that to get it on the market but "family life" happens and they cant slow down long enough to be there for 3 days to finish up. Maybe after the planned trip this weekend to their beloved Superman Festival in Metropolis IL things will slow for a week or two til camps hit the end of June.

Anyway... when the garage is cleaned up sufficient for equipment room I will set it up then..... Hugs!

Well not as big of a drop as I would have liked... but I will take it. Its a new number. 201.8 I'm not all that sore from my workout yesterday. I am really throwing around the idea of getting a trainer that can put a routine together for me when I'm at home and can't make it to the gym. I thought I could do it, but it didn't work out like I thought it would. I don't have the right equipment.

Amber~ I will have those abs one day!!!! Won't you.

Amber~ Aren't you close to having those abs with all of your working out???

Faithful~ I understand. Hopefully sooner than later you will get your garage back. I hear you on the clothes. I don't want to buy much until I get to goal. I bought one good outfit that I could wear when I got dressed up. Otherwise big stuff around the house works for me too.

ZUMBA tonight!!! I have to go meet a lady this afternoon to get some business supplies from her and think we will stop at the health food store. We will be going past there anyways. Then I will get that zero carb bread if they have it. Thats about it.

Have a good day everyone!!!

A loss is a loss is a loss. Right? String all those little losses together and you will have one giant loss before ya know it. You're doing FANTASTIC and I find so much inspiration from you.
I would love to have a trainer, that sounds exciting!

What kind of business do you have?

Hi Melanie! Congrats on your new low number!! That's fantastic!

FYI: I know what you are saying about exercising at home. I can't drive and don't have a gym that I can walk to, so I just started using exercise DVDs. I did level one intensity of Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred today and LOVE it. She kicked my butt in a good way.

Have fun at ZUMBA later!

Hugs,

Maxi

Hope you had fun at Zumba! Yeah, exercising at home without equipment can be a challenge. I had to quit my gym over a year ago because it was just so hard to get there. Then I calculated the membership fees, babysitting fees for the gyms daycare thing, and gas money. All of that plus it would take half a day. 25 minutes each way. Getting two kids ready and out the door. Blah blah....... You know what I mean? It took half a day to work out. I would get up and get the kids ready to go to the gym and we would not be home until lunch time and I still had my housework to do.

I love my Yowza navare elliptical. But it's not practical for everyone to have gym equipment at home. You are totally blessed that you can get out to the gym. It's great people time for sahm's!

Hello ladies. Oh the darn dance with the scale..... 202 again this morning. I swear I can't get away from 202. I know that I am getting slimmer and that with all this working out muscle has got to be forming and fat is disapearing and I am very excited about that. But why did it have to be before I got to Onederland. I wouldn't mind sticking at 199, but 202!!!! Oh well. It will come. I just have to keep doing what I am doing. The inches don't lie. I know I am losing that because of the measurements and because shorts I couldn't wear a few weeks now fit. So I just have to be patient...... It's so hard. I woke up a little sore this morning. Took some tylenol and feel better. ZUMBA was good but the instructor that usually kicks our butt had an easy class... I still sweated but she didn't do her one song of jumping jacks and I missed it. Came home had a yummy dinner. Someone had mentioned a mozzarella and mushroom omelet and so I made one and it was yummy. The girls and I hung out while DH worked on a mower. Then it was bed time. I usually come back down after putting the kids to bed but was tired so I just went to bed too.

Danielle~ I sell Premier Designs Jewelry. Its a lot of fun and I get to stay home with the kids and just work a few nights here and there.

Cassidy~ I know right.... He's crazy.

Maggie~ Thanks. Oh ya the bread. Forgot to tell you about that. See next post.

Amber~ I only saw it for a day. Back to the darn 202!!! I hope the whoosh fairy hurries up and gets to everyone and then back to me.

Maxi~ I may just have to get that dvd.

Melissa~ Oh I know all too well how much time getting out of the house can take. Maybe someone will get me an elliptical or treadmill for my bday coming up if I start hinting about it.

Jayce~ I'm trucking alright. Right around 202. I just have to stay the course.

Not much going on here today. I think I will go for a walk with the kids and layoff the weights for the day. Then I have a showing this afternoon. Hoping to make some money. Have a great day everyone!!!!

Melanie- for a woman to see abs, no amount of crunches is going to do that, your overall body fat percentage must be below 15% to see them, usually in the 10-12% range, I will never see abs, my husband is naturally thin and he doesnt have a 6 pack and works out everyday he is like 18% body fat, abs are lovely, but they will not be on me ever at my size I am too huge.

IAM- yes try to get some clothes that fit, you will feel better, there is nothing worse than flopping clothes falling off, LOL I know you have had quite an adjustment in your house you have done great!!!!

Well, now, that scale needs to be pounded into oblivion. What does it know anyways, right? You're hovering in the right place, so I know any day now you'll get the magic number.

Love the idea of your business! I dunno if I could sell? I contemplated Avon or Mary Kay or somethin but I just dunno if I'd be able to work it well enough to make it worth my time

Wish I liked mushrooms...

Danielle~ I know doesn't it!!!!! I haven't had something off plan in forever. I don't even know how long. Probably a month. I'm drinking my water, limiting the really salty meats. The only thing I added was the weights work. Last time I did this, the scale stayed still for awhile. I cheated last time this happened though out of frustration. But not this time. I will not give into it. I know that I am replacing fat with muscle by doing weights and I'm happy with that.... Despite the number on the scale, even though I would love it if it said 199!!! In time it will.

Ooh, I love mushrooms. The brown ones. I don't care for fresh ones.

I wasn't sure I would be able to sell either, but its really easy and fun. I get to get out of the house a few nights a month and have fun with adults and make a little money as a bonus!!!!
