JC~ Isn't it crazy how that happens. I came across a picture the other day and I was at the beach with a t-shirt over my suit and I was SKINNY. What was I thinking??? We will be there again and feel so much better about ourselves because of the journey that we have taken to get there!!!
So true about the 3 B's. Definitely never the same.

So I was really wanting a yogurt and the last time I was at the grocery store I found a Greek yogurt with only 6 carbs. I had that for lunch along with 2 strawberries cut up in it. The taste was not what I have been used to, but thank goodness for the sweetness of the strawberries. Thats the only thing that got me through it. I also had 6 pieces of celery and dip.

What kind of yogurt was it? I don't do plain, I'm just not that motivated to eat food that does not make me drool . Maybe that's why I got fat . Haha!

MMMM! Strawberries . I cant wait for my strawberry patch to start giving me some berries. Should be a good crop this year. I see lots and lots of flowers.

How goes the rest of your low carb day?

Lori~ Thanks, next time I will. I'm glad that you find it motivating!!!

JC~ Oikos, non fat plain yogurt. It was the only one I could find that was low in carbs. I was never a strawberry fan, but since starting this diet I have ate more than I ever have, and that hasn't been a lot, but I really like them. The rest of my low carb day went as this...

B: Atkins shake
L: Yogurt with strawberries and celery
S: More celery and ranch dip
D: 2 scrambled eggs and one fried egg.
S: Peanut butter cream cheese concoction!!! Yummy!!! Almost licked the bowl.

I sure do!!!!

1 lb ground burger
1 egg
couple sprinkles of italian seasoning
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese ( I eyeballed it but think it was about this much)

Mix all together, make into meatballs and cook on 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Let them cool and then add them to pot of sauce.

The sauce is just a can of hunts tomato sauce that comes seasoned with basil,garlic and oregano. 4 c for the sauce!!! I found it and love it. We use it all the time.

Wow, what a fun filled, tiring, adventurous weekend!!! Rode three hours in my aunts convertible for my sisters bday weekend, got some sun and caught up with my aunt. We went to a baseball game and then out for some dancing. The baseball game was fun, and the out part was ok... Once we found the place to be at. My sister and her friends seemed preoccupied by other things all night to give me and my aunt much attention so we just did our own thing.

I did good, ate a salad and bunless burger, and a chicken with sour cream and lettuce, I drank about 80 oz of water. The scale said 205 this morning at my sisters house. We will see what it says tomorrow.

Oh and boy did I get sunburnt on the car ride there and back. Not terrible, but my shoulders are a little ouchy.

We were all getting dressed to go out and I put on my skirt to show my sister and she said no on the skirt. So her friend brought in a pair of shorts for me to try. I put them on and my sisters friend says.. "wow, you have nice legs like your sister..."

I also saw a friend of mine and her sister this weekend and they just couldn't believe how much weight I have lost. So much fun!!!!

Hun I had a convertible in CA when I lived there and that was my tanning and blow drying, LOL I would wash my hair and the air would dry it til I got to work, LOL


There is no better feeling then people fawning and telling you how good you look, you need to hear that to keep goingm, you have made remarkable changes, I am so glad you had a good weekend!

Amber~ Oh how fun. If I had one I would do the same thing. It was so nice being in my aunts. I want one now.

So this morning the scale said... 206.2, 5.2 lbs lost this week. I will take it. Didn't do much today. A friends dad passed away and the funeral was today, so I hung out with her this afternoon. Then took Marah to soccer. I'm exhausted!!! Just chilling before I give the girls a bath and they head to bed.

It started because the honey badger is one of the toughest animals in the kingdom, this video was what started it so I think maybe angela mentioned it and then I started the thread last year? So we have been going ever since, I wanted a T-shirt when I got to 185 but might have to change that up!!!!

Scale was the same today. Going to ZUMBA tonight. Not much going on here today. Cleaned the house and put three baskets of laundry away.

Amber (AsmallerMe) Ok so if I eat everything I plan to today. ****** says 2023 calories today. I need to change it to net carbs to get that accurate, but right now it says 31.5 carbs. I will put in some other days when I get a chance and will let you know.
