Jen--awesome on the jeans and the 5 miles!! On the menus, just get that fat up and it will all fall into place.

AWESOME!!

If you can, try to keep the cals/fat up today.....a couple days under here and there probably won't hurt but our bodies catch on quickly and you don't want it to think that's all it's going to be getting or it's going to hold on to the weight--which is what we're trying to avoid.

How are you doing with the water? Since you have been in deep ketosis then you have a lot of ketones floating around in there that need to be flushed out--and lots of water will help that process along.

Have a good day!

I have been averaging around 60-80 oz daily. Haven't drank anything but water and an occasional cup of decaf coffee.

I think it all looks better today. If I don't pay close attention to my bf that is where I flub up. I did better today with bf. Made an omlet and put sc dip on top. Yummy!!!

YAY!! I'm so excited for you!

So--are you ready to do the same thing this week, or do you feel like anything needs to be changed around?

I met her on another thread sometime ago through another friend. She helped me to realize that fats are my friend. I am now eating to my bmr, and averaging 180 fats, lower carbs around 20-30 and 60-75 proteins daily. I really wasn't eating much fat. It worked wonders and I feel great.

That menu looks awesome!

I'm glad you are feeling great with this plan. At some point if you're not, just say so and we'll make some changes. But really--eating tons of healthy fat and plenty of calories--what could be so bad about that?!

Who would have thought that eating fat would have done the trick. WOW!!! I love the menu. Some days are hard to get in enough fat tho.

Yeah I do put in my menu everyday. Use things like avacado, mayo, sour cream, or dips w/ sour cream base, whipped cream

It does get easier. Butter, olive oil, mac nuts, cream cheese--these are all easy ways to get it up. I always have dip in my fridge for veggies made with cream cheese, sour cream and spices--good and easy way to get fat and veggies in.

As far as the chicken--if you're getting bored, change it up. But if you are enjoying it, no problem. Have you tried making zoodles yet? I love those with chicken and alfredo--very easy way to get the fat and calories up!

If you go to post 30 he explains how to make zoodles. They're just thinly sliced zuchs but they make a great sub for pasta--especially alfredo style. He also has a lot of other great snack ideas on that thread.

Yes, I do use Carbquick and have all along. It's not a daily thing necessarily, but I've found it to be a great product to have available and I often use it in combination with almond or other nut flours in baking as it has a much better texture/taste than the nut flours alone.

Yes I did make them alfredo and they are the best. I loved them and they are so easy. Thanks

I have been so busy this week that I haven't gotten to exercise as much as I wanted to I hope that doesn't affect my weight too much.

Good--glad you liked them.

Here's another great recipe--high fat, little to no protein, and very delicious!

http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/lo...ng-anyone.html

As far as the exercise, just do what you can. I'm not a big believer in exercise to lose weight--it wasn't involved in any of my loss. That said it is very good for us for other reasons so I would say try to do some wall pushups, take a short walk, whatever you can do to keep the momentum up so that it's not so hard to get back in the groove when you do have time.

Thanks Teresa. I have been walking some and some ab work. I will check out that recipe. I have noticed that I am definitely more regular (if you know what I mean). I am taking that as a good thing.
