Jelous of your scale and the number on it. I think mine is a dinosaur, it kind of creaks and you can hear it make noise if you adjust, sound like the inside of the titanic coming in on you.lol. Maybe is wrong, and I'm 5 pounds thinner? Wouldnt that be nice, it may be old but i just changed the battery.lol darn.

So I had my review today....
I have had 2 jobs in 20 years, 10 years at each until last July when I went to work for Coca Cola Enterprises. Never had a review but have given many since I was in management.
I was told be prepared they are the good, bad and ugly.
I met my boss at a vegetarian thai place. Love the vegetables with tofo!! We are casual always. We talked and chatted, he is moving back home to India this month.
I was nervous, I have never worked for a global company before, heck I managed a corporate coffee company , 4 stores at a time.
He told me the standard was 2 maybe a 3 as 2 is average. The grading scale goes from 1 to 5. So I knew I would get a 2 maybe a 3. I think I have good integrity, and great work ethic but who knows,,,thats what I think.

I almost cried. He told me it was the best and easiest review he has ever done, he worked for Frito Lay for years in management. He also informed me that I have backing from uppermanagement in my sales center to apply for his job. I specialize in the Korean accounts with Coke, even though I do not know the language. I did not think I would even be able to compete with other applicants. I am pumped!!! I am psyched!!! I am amazed!!! I am proud!!!

I called my dad and called my mom, stupid me, she does not have her phone. This was what I was talking about, I share everything with this wonderful amazing woman. I asked my dad to tell her that I did well and wanted to share it with her if she feels like it later.

I am getting over broncitis and the doctor thinks its best for me to wait a few days so she does not get sick. I understand.

I went to my BF's shop (he owns his own business ) and proudly showed off my report card. But it was not the same, every accomplishment I have shared with my mom.

Dad called to tell me that mom wanted to visitors but to call her tonight and gave me her room extention to share my news with her between 5-6. And NOT to tell her he said it was ok or its his tail. thats it makes her happy to feel needed and that I should not stop sharing my life and news even if she is sick. So I will call.

I am on a high!!!
Now I need to shred, the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels.

Thanks for all the prayers, you are all very comforting and special to me.

Thanks for visiting my journal and you make me laugh! I did go and see my dd sing in Florida. They booked her again for next year. When I was little I really wanted to sing well. the entire family sang and I was as per my mom's words " the family fog horn"...so I orayed.. Please G-D, I want to sing so badly"... and he granted my very words.. I do sing so badly!!!!!!!! LOL...

My dad called to remind me. I called her about 6:30 and talked about how she was. When we got done she sounded sad. I said,"Oh mom, you need some good news, guess what?" " My review was rockin'." She laughed and said she had been waiting since 4 for me to call. Guess pops spilled the beans. But at least there was cheer in her voice. I think she thought I would not tell her or share. I told her thursday I would be bringing it by so I could collect my $1. See we use to get a dollar for every great report card. She said "see you Thursday love, oh and I love you." it was so great!!!!

The scale has been moving slow but moving. Maybe this week I will take another photo of the scale. I think doing the 30 day shred daily helps.

Going to the BF's for dinner tonight, having salmon. Last night was a 16oz steak and salad.

I teach dance, at the place I took from as a child...LONG STORY...anyhow, if we showed up at the "recital party" in our costume, my Great Auntie would give us a dollar...I think she just enjoyed seeing all of us dressed beautifully with our hair and make up done...very great memories!

The challenge is going good. I am doing everything I can for my points now incase I have a day I cheat (I have 2 planned for the next few months) and I plan on being honest.

Scale did not move yesterday. Not even a .1 either way. First day I was consistant.

We stopped for tacos and this francise place and I had an amazing taco salad. Tonight I am BBQing steaks. I have 4 I must cook tonight so I will slice the leftovers for my lunch tomorrow.
Mom gets out of the hospital today. They are not giving her any
more chemo. I guess she fell last night and the hospital gave her an ice pack and she left it on to long and got an ice burn. My sister called all mad at my dad for holding info back. Give me a break, she is an adult and my dad was right there. UGH!!!!
Did the shred today, it is getting easier. This weekend BF and I are going for a hike.
BF bought me this vintage dress months ago and I did not try it on when he bought it. I really want to wear it tomorrow night when we go out to dinner. I hope it fits because it was to tight last time I tried it on. Very cute dress and he fell in love with it when we found it. Will be a great surprise and I adore the dress too.
I need to check everyones journals and then clean the bathroom and kitchen counter tops. I have been lazy lately, no not lazy but doing other things. Be back on after dinner.

Not sure if I am. I am exersizing every day and doing the bonus exersize too and eating on plan. (hoping for a total of 19 points this week out of 21)I hope to get to at least 155 by the end of the month.

We kind of stumbled accross the treadmill. My Wife's brother was going through a devorce and moving out of his house. We were helping him move and keeping a bunch of his junk for him. He told us that we could have the treadmill if we wanted it so we snagged it...along with a 400 dollar Yamaha surround receiver and sub woofer. My BIL only buys good stuff...this explains why he is always broke. The treadmill was a 2000 dollar item. Now it's in our basement. I have 50 bucks in it so far.

Then there is the 150 dollar fishing pole and casting reel combo that he couldn't figure out how to use. I have it too. It casts like a dream!

Give me a break, she is an adult and my dad was right there. UGH!!!! Did the shred today, it is getting easier. This weekend BF and I are going for a hike. BF bought me this vintage dress months ago and I did not try it on when he bought it. I really want to wear it tomorrow night when we go out to dinner. I hope it fits because it was to tight last time I tried it on. Very cute dress and he fell in love with it when we found it. Will be a great surprise and I adore the dress too. I need to check everyones journals and then clean the bathroom and kitchen counter tops. I have been lazy lately, no not lazy but doing other things. Be back on after dinner.

That is stuff that I would of have never bought in the first place. I wasn't sure I wanted that treadmill in my basement because I figured it would be a clothes drying rack. I was wrong. It does get used.
