I want to thank Phil for his help, and patience. I also want to thank my family for tasting it...now back away from MY fattie boys and no one gets hurt.

I want to find a smoker to make these. Maybe look on craigs list?

Craigslist would be an excellent place to look for a smoker. Put a little hickory or mesquite smoke to that fattie.....mmmm,mmmm,mmmmm!!!

I had the fattie for dinner and 1/2 avocado.
Very tasty. My DS#2 asked if this was on my diet. Funny he looks at my WOE as a diet. Then he came into the living room and asked if I was eating dark chocolate and was that on my diet. What is his deal? A diet?
Maybe because I showed him my 2 new pairs of cords that fit and told him the news of them being a size smaller.
The cat was eyeing my fattie so I cut it up and put it in the fridge.
I did not work out today, I will do double time tomorrow.

With you being sick I'd say you need to rest your body. Maybe even tomorrow too. If you do work out tomorrow, take it easy.

Throw some scrambled eggs and cheese in the next fattie. It makes for a good fast breakfast in the morning!

Congrats on the new smaller clothes! Ain't it great?

I was flipping through On Demand (do you have that) and they have jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I think tomorrow I am going to pick up some 4lb weights and do this. it sounds great. Claims you can drop 20 lbs in 30 days. I would be happy dropping 10 in a month.

Hey Bekki - hope you feel better hun now. Everyone seems to have been struck with it, all over the place, mum in England has it, we in Ireland have it, and you in the good ol' States have it too! I have given up sugar (Thanks to Goldenrod!)...
I may have to check out OSS. I was so intrigued when I read about the fatties - then realised I couldn't have any cos I'm a veggie!! But it did give me an idea. I may take a savoy cabbage leaf and roll some faux mash, some tomato (ragu) like sauce that I make, mozzarella, chilli in to it, and bake...it may be nice or a complete disaster!!!!

O.S.S. stands for...
Operation Sexy Summer.
Its a challenge where you get one point a day for eating on plan and one point a day for working out. 14 total for the week. If you eat off plan you lose your points for the week, if you fail to log your points in by monday at a specific time you come in last for the week. As the weeks progress your points accumulate. It goes from March 2 thru June 20something. You have to post a before picture by this monday with current weight.
(you can join Phil, it did not say anything about women only.) There is no men so far, come on and take the challenge. I know you eat well and have been doing great working out.
I am trying to get some others to join so we can all get super sexy by summer.

No not really. Last night I woke up at 3am with a horrible ear ache. I got the heating pad out and used that.
I finally just got out of bed. I figured I needed to take a shower and stop feeling sorry for being sick so now I am on clean showered, clean clothes and on the couch.
I realized I only had an atkins Advantage shake this morning and am now eating some more of my fattie.
But at least I am alive!!

On Demand is on Comcast cable. Our local cable company. Pick up the control and look if you have cable, under fitness.

No drinking for me. It sounds good but the hardest thing I drink for now is Diet Mt. Dew.

Sorry you are not feeling better.

I have some work to do tomorrow around the house and then there is no telling what we will do. Right now I just wishing for nice weather. Doubt I'll get that though.

My wife is doing LC.....for now. I expect her to switch over to something like weight watchers sometime. I will too when I hit 250 I think.

I love LC! In 2004 I got down to 240 pounds and felt great. Problem was I started to eat what ever I wanted and gained it all back. I want to switch to something like WW and learn portion control and also for all around heathly eating. I love fruits and veggies and I miss them. Not very LC friendly. I guess I am using LC as a tool to get to my ideal weight and then use a more normal WOE to take me the rest of the way. Does that make sense or does it sound stupid?

T-bones are done. Gotta eat!!!

Kind of. If I eat higher carbs it's in the morning so that I burn it off through out the day. I found that working out while eating LC just doesn't work for me, so I have to boost it up some. Now I eat a half of a cup of oatmeal before working out and that seems to give me the energy I need.

So I checked out the link that you posted about the challenge. I don't know...looks like there are allot of sassy women in that thread!

I'm sure you will do great at it.

I just did the 30 day shred, well most of it. I had a hard time doing the butt kicks. I had to stop and use my inhaler but did it. I thought the jumping jacks would be hard but what was killer was the side lunges with the weights at eyes level.
Talk about working up a sweat.
I did the modified pushups and could do 10 each time. Impressive for an old lady with broncitis. I even use the 3lb weights I just bought.
I think I will try to do this 5 days a week.
Time for me to go to bed. I know its not even 9pm but I think I will watch a movie and fall asleep on the couch.

Not sure I will last or post every day, but I will get my points in Mondays. I think it will keep me motivated.

I do wonder how many people cheat but thats their deal, right. The proof will be in the results.

I am going to get up and do the 30 day shred again, with a better fitting bra this time. All that bouncing makes me realize I do not need bigger boobs (cover your ears Phil, woman talk here)

Then to shower and hopefully meet the boyfriend for coffee at Starbucks.

You're right, proof is in the results. Have you taken measurements of yourself? That will show faster then the scale movement.
