Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Just have a sec ... Eli had a swimming meet this morning, met up with our Cub Scouts to deliver cookies they made at the fire station (had to do a service project and they wanted to bake cookies for the fire fighters), time for a short nap, and now getting ready for dinner at church with my Valentine. Oh, and rented some Wii games for Eli to take to the sitters

Talked to Amy yesterday. She sounds wore out. Jim was still in the hospital (don't know about today) with no answers. Her mom is there which should help her lots. Just keep praying everyone.

Well, I'm off. See ya tomorrow after church!

Good morning everyone. Happy Sunday.

I am sitting here drinking a cup of coffee and getting ready to start my day. I had such a fun time with miss autumn yesterday. She has a terrible head cold but she was still fun. I drove her home at around 7 and then came home and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Ok..this is funny...I got up yesterday to find a really sweet valentines card on my desk from Vern. But here's the sentiment he wrote in the card...

"sometimes it would take a slap upside the head for me to realize you're the best thing that ever happened to me"

...

I'm sure it sounded romantic when it was rolling around in his brain!...LOL

Amy...you and your family are continually in my prayers

Been thinking and praying for Amy and her family since last summer. I love her spunk and determination. We need to lift her, Jim, and Phillip higher in prayer this week. Went to her blog and she really needs us. It's hard to enjoy the journey with so many bumps in the road.

Amy, you know and can feel all the support you are getting.....grab it. Feel better and stronger so you can deal with the rest of this week. Even if I'm not posting here, you are in my prayers. Better days ahead.............

wow look at all the folk keeping up with AMYB. should I ask how your eating is going? I know you can't "put it on the shelf" while you deal with all the medical issues in your household so did Mom make you yummy low carb foods you could swallow and keep down? did she stock your freezer with easy swallow soups you can eat and enjoy? the frige jam packed full of foods both you and the family can have? And did she make as only grandmothers can special treats for your kids to enjoy too?

Linda....come to So Cal!! I have mountains with snow 30 minutes away and then the ocean is 40 minutes away....you can play in the water and ski down a slope in the same day! I also have liars and lie too but.....we don't have to talk about that!! LOL!!
