You're right Linda...I do need to check in here on a more regular basis. I've stopped posting on all the forums I was involved with and am posting mainly on my blog now...but I can certainly make an exception and post here with all of my friends who gather here!

Today I am going to go to my first PeeWee soccer practice/game? with Miss Autumn and Chris. As much as I am looking forward to watching my sweet baby girl play soccer...i am NOT looking forward to having to make nice chit chat with Autumn's other grandparents...DIL's parents. I have told those people off in my head and in my dreams (nightmares) so many times!!! I know I have to be nice and be a peacemaker...but please...please...don't let that woman say anything stupid to me!

Ok....I will be back with a report of how it all went...and will post a plethora of photos on my blog, I'm sure!

Steph, I love the quote at the bottom of your posts! I'm kind of out of the loop on what yyou're battling but I can see by the little bit I have read that you must be fighting some kind of cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with you this morning.

Hi Vickie. Yes, I have cancer. It's a hard one to talk about, but if you google Farrah Fawcett + cancer you'll know what I have. Fortunately my treatment protocol is less rigorous than some cancers and they say they are reporting about a 90% cure rate with what I'm getting.

Amy and I have been talking a bit via email. What they are giving her is much harder I think, from the sound of it. I'm halfway through my treatments as of Friday the 1st.

Anyway thanks for your prayers, they are VERY much appreciated. Hope everyone's having a lovely Sunday. It's cool here, but sunny!

Oh my goodness Steph...i just googled as you suggested and i had to come back and tell you....that is the cancer my husband had. He's been cancer free for a long time now and is considered completely "cured"....His surgery was pretty radical and he says the radiation was really awful...but he got through it.

. It's really encouraging to hear he's doing well! I didn't have surgery. I'm stage 2 and the location of the tumor is considered inoperable. Just as well

Tell him I am sympathetic to what he's gone through. I hope he's forever NED!!

I use my Pampered Chef Dots dishes regularly. At first I was hesitant, but then I wondered who was any more special than the people I wake up to every day so now they come out at least once a week. We use the china a couple of times a year, too.

Linda and Rebel - you guys are such incredible cheerleaders. I'm not very good at remembering things like birthdays or doctor's appointments (I have trouble right here at home with those things, too!). What you have is simply a gift. I love having you as my friends.

skeopple, you are another cheerleader around here.

In fact, this is just about the best thread anywhere on the net.

Oh, we are moving! Again. Did I tell you our basement that never gets wet flooded for the second time this last week? Our landlords think that wet-vacing the carpet and flooring, running fans and the dehumidifier will be enough. They aren't living with the stench of the mold that is growing in the walls and under the carpet. Well, neither are we. We are moving out.

Goos Morning everyone. I went back to bed this morning and have been up sick ever since I woke up. I am going to get a shower and pull it together. NO time for any of that right now..
Steph..I think of you often..of course I know you know that already...I am spending hrs in the bathroom also..maybe we need to take stock in toliet paper..huh? Not funny but what can ya do..
The hair..well...I dread washing mine each adn everytime..that is when it semes to really hit me that it is coming out. Mine took a while to start to come out. I think it started to come out when they added the new cocktail ...
Mom ..I will call you today in between appts. I HATE that this has happened. How un failr and so not easy to deal with. Have you found a place..how is our little man taking it..
we will talk today. Miss ya..
