Hi Everyone. I'm having a bit of a bad time today. Been fighting with a flood in our basement all day long and looks like we will be all night, too. On top of it all our landlords informed us this morning that they are going to put our house up for sale.

We had a camping conversation at Mimi's board a while ago about me and camping. I was in Girl Scouts and my best friend puked in my hair at about 2 in the morning and there was only cold running water. She reminded me a year or so ago that we had camp fire stew for supper that night.

Wow! look at you guys! I haven't been here and you've continued to include me in the conversation as though I was here! and happy birthday wishes and everything! Thank you!! I am touched! You ladies are the best!!

Yes...I love my new dishes! Can you believe that Vern actually bought them for me!? And they weren't cheap either...LOL. I haven't used them yet. I'm going to use them when I host a table for the Womens Tea at church during the holidays. But, I need to at least use them once and do a photo shoot with them before then! I also got a gift certificate from Michael's (the craft store) that I used last night to buy two awesome crochet pattern books!

My dad is home and holding his own for now. My poor sister is a bit frazzled with it all but Pop's doing ok.

I'm still using the weight watchers points system to NOT diet I've lost some weight and I'm learning to eat like a normal person so it's good.

OK...I'm at work but I popped in here and just had to stay for a minute to chat. Have a good weekend everyone
