What do you mean "what am I bringing?" Myself, of course! But, I'll have to chew those pills rather than licking 'em.

As for the trees, they are still stacked up in front of the house waiting for the city to haul them off. Some of it has disappeared over the last week -- termites, maybe?

Ok, you guys, I don't want to take over Amy's journal here, but I have to get this out and I can't think of a better place to do it.

My brother in law (45) died in his sleep early Wednesday morning. My sister lives in Utah. We are going to wait and go in a couple of months rather than now for a whole bunch of reasons, and for a whole bunch of reasons I'm glad. First there are a ton of people there right now. All my brothers. All her husband's family is driving in. Just lots of people. So my little sis is overwhelmed. She called me tonight and asked me to pray with her. What a privilege to be able to do that - and to be known as the one who will.

The other thing, though, and the part that is bothering me, is I was widowed in 1991. This is stirring up a whole lot of stuff for me. Stuff that I thought I'd come to terms with and left long ago. I keep feeling like I've been sucker punched right in the sternum, if you know what I mean. Like someone just reached in and yanked off a really big scab and now I'm bleeding again. Would you all mind praying for me, that no bitterness would creep in to my soul. I don't know how to explain it any better than that.

(BTW, Amy already knows about this)

Praying for you is an honor! You have every right to feel your feelings...it just sucks when...like you said....you thought you were managing them and then you find out different. I totally understand that punch in the gut feeling!!!

Good morning everyone!!! I'm here at work, waiting for my machine to warm up so I can get started. Hmmmm...it frustrates me that my boss can't seem to remember to NOT turn the heat off at night! It's on a timer and it kicks in early so I can start working when I get here...he turned it off again....guess I'll just have to play around on the internet while it warms up in here!

I have a few things on my mind...and well here I am to say what they are...lol. Sandy will know what and where some of these are coming from...
Today someone made a comment today about me having a cheer leading squad and it made these feelings of yesterday come back...So I thought I would share them here..
Yesterday Sandy and I were talking and something came up that reminded me of how I use to feel with some of the KK crap. Not good. It was nothing that Sandy said..it was something buried inside of me...deep. A lot of hurt feelings...some I deserved and some I did not. There were many days I felt very alone..I think being a treatment day yesterday I was feeling overly sensitive...lol
But today when Grace about me having a cheerleading squad I had to laugh...
I have a few token ladies here who have supported me when it was not such a COOL thing to do. And please know I have never forgotten who each of you are EVER.
Yep there have been times I acted dramatic about KK issues...and that was my bad...lessons learned. But one thing I have never done is acted like I was perfect. Far from it.
I just want you to know that I KNOW where I stand with each of you and it means alot to me. It means a lot to me that you each come here and we have a safe place to hang. It also means a lot to me that if you have something to say you say it to me and not about me..lol
I just adore you my friends who are here..and you are special to each of me...
So keep coming each day...cause I LOVE us being here..

Yep...I am on pain meds...But you know what I mean...I mean I know when they talk smack about me in emails and little groups and wherevere and then talk sweet to me...fakers..lmbo..And they all would love to see the rest of the pictures...Ya know they would..Okay now I am being bad.

I've been lurking around for over a year; here and there. Followed the KK thing.............wishing the courts would bring it (her) to an end. Following Phillips CaringBridge site, as well as your other blog. I really like your new blog about your family the best.
It's great to see you posting today. You really need to rest and build up strength once again. I suppose it will be awhile before you know the biopsy results.
What was decided for Phillip's continuing treatment? And how about dear Jim?
I'm hoping that the prayers and support you get here are felt in your heart and that the continuing friendships and fellowship here add to your healing. It will be great a year from now to look back and think how far you've all come!!!

We haven't decided yet (her daddy and I) she is staying Saturday for sure and maybe Saturday night. I might take her home and put her to bed and then just hang out until her daddy gets home...that way he can have Sunday morning with her. He has her from Friday night until Sunday night but he has to work on Saturday until late. So we'll see. I'm up for whatever he needs me to do. She's been spending lots of time here at Grandma Honey's house, which I love. Thanks for the prayers and hugs all. After talking with one of my brothers today I am so sure I made the right decision NOT to go out west for a couple of months. There are WAY too many people there. My little sis called me last night. Phone calls that start with "I need you to do me a favor ..." have the potential to go either way. In this case she asked me to pray for her. Wow, what a privilege that was, and how grateful I am to be known as the one to do that - even with all those people around. We likely could never have gotten alone long enough to do that had I been there. Things are still a bit raw, but something my friend Mrs Menopausal said to me about people being in a different place after all these years helped.

Amy, sweetie, you are my bestest friend in the whole world. You know all my secrets and all my adventures. Just get better so you can be in the middle of them so I don't have to catch you up

Oh, and I love reading Amy on drugs - such a funny girl
