supper was steak and green bean fries but it was at 7:30 so my snack while cooking so i did not eat the mashed potatoes i made for my daughter was 2 hot sausages and a few peanuts... but i am still hungry... gonna drink more water and maybe eat something flax to help fill me up

Yum! I made a microwave flax flat bread for my egg cheese and sausage sandwich. Very good! I have my turkey salad packed for lunch today. I'd like flax muffins but the two I tried were gross.
In case anyone wants it here is the flax flat wrap recipe First grease a glass pie pan in a cup or small bowl mix: 2 1/2 T flax 1/4 t baking soda 1 T water 1 egg onion and garlic powder to taste spread in glass pie pan and microwave 3 min. Remove imediately from pan and let cool on paper towel |

yum that sounds good I think i will make it for my tuna salad... the sponge bob bread is pretty good but i use golden flax... and a little more flavoring and sub than it calls for ![]() but my favorite is using 1 scoop of whey chocolate protein, using the same scoop i scoop out 1 golden flax... an egg, some baking soda, some davinics syrup and water if needed for consistency... made a chocolate cookie like thingy... it is good with whipped cream on top... i also like the koolaid cookies.. search the recipe suggestions for it... my favorite was using orange koolaid... add till it tastes pretty good. I always tweek recipes and then forget what i did LOL i need to write it down as i go LOL Well i stayed up till 4 30 this morning with my boy friend and i ate eggs and bologna at 3:30 this morning with sf koolaid... then i woke up around 11 took my mom on an endless journey of errands! got home around 1:30 and ate the stew i had in the crock pot... YUMMY... took a nap and woke up at 3:15 ate porkrinds and ranch dip with water LOL gotta work my second job 7pm-12am.. so i will be on the computer cuz it gets slow LOL post more later...

ok gotta add an atkins bar and almonds to my total for today :0 I worked till midnight so... it was better than eating the fudge on the break room table. or the hc snacks our company provides.

worked till 1 am was hungry when i got home so i ate vienees around 2 am finally got to bed around 4 am and slept till 1...woke up and ate a few triangles of my choc flax concoction with sf syrup then ate 3 pieces bacon and 1 egg..
supper at 5:15 was tuna with mayo onion and a celery stick inside 1/2 of josephs lc tortilla. 2 waters down so far! back STILL out... gonna go for xray and back to doctor monday... my full time job starts back on tues( school system) if i am still in pain will probably cancel my work for my partime job on mon. probably check in again later... oh not in ketosis yet.... just bought sticks today I went out of ketoisis when i took a swan dive off the wagon the other day LOL michelle: its ok to stumble... be proud of what u have accomplished so far! |

Looks like your doing great Jill!!! I'm sorry to hear your back is still out! That just bites. I haven't checked for ketosis yet. I can't imagine I'd be there yet after Fri.

b/l: beef stew lc nuts couple of mini hot wienees hot choc. and 1 piece of my fav lc choc bar delights carbs for whole bar is 16 carbs... 11 fiber made with splenda so no SA.... has 4 pieces in one bar... dinner will be 2 oopsies and 1 hamburger patty 2 waters down! |

Hey ladies, I was just checking out this journal and I wanted to share this: my husband has a herniated disc and my best friend, the masseuse, gave him this book called Pain Free: the Egoscue Method. He went from practically disabled to probably 95% good to go. It was really quick, too. This is a totally unique stretching program and really, really easy, like you get in your little position with one leg propped up on a chair (90 degree bend in knee) and then you just lay in that position for 30 minutes. The positions are very important, you need the book, but once you get in the right position, you just have to relax and eventually the muscles that are in spasm will relax. He was going to an orthopedist, and this doctor was like, "WHAT have you been doing?! Your body shouldn't have changed this much!" He only had to go 3x to this doctor by using the Egoscue, where before he'd tried to spinal injections and all kinds of PT and pills.

Looks like your doing great on the menu and water! I got my 44 oz in 3 times. I am floating. You'll be at goal before you know it. Laurie that is interesting. I'll jot that down and see if I can get it from the library. I'll also ask the chiro about it tues as she has gotten me in yoga, vitamins, inversion etc. She is a walking text for natural living. |

well i am disappointed about my weigh in... the scale was quirky today too.. at first it said 154 something then i got on it again and it said 155.8 then 155.5 i just kept gettin on and off till i got a number more than once... what ever...
i think i will hide my scale I weigh myself way too much!!!! I am also going to put up all my sf chocolate candy bars and atkins bars AND the nuts!!!!! i get a few everytime i get up... that cant be good... the one positive thing today is i have not been so hungry like the last few days maybe ketosis is finally kicking in.. I was not hungry for lunch until 3:00... also i go back to work tmw so i wont be at home around food all day ![]() thats gotta help One more good thing is my back seems to be getting better slowly but surely. |

Howdy! Want me to come kick your scale for you? I am with you on needing to put away the nuts. I do ok with the raw nuts in the shell but in the can....... I love the salt and keep eating them.
I'm glad to hear your back is feeling a bit better and ketosis is kicking in! I go for my "tune up" with the chiro tomorrow. Feel so nice! Have fun at work tomorrow! |

well i did ok with the nuts... only ate 2 brazil nuts
i was queasy so i had 3 regular white crackers and a sip yes just a sip of sprite...today has been good so far... can of vienna sausages ( in a hurry not used to getting up cuz of the 2 week holiday!) l:can of tuna with 1 tbls of mayo and 2 midget dill pickles... s: 1/2 of a egg custard with a smidge of sf pancake syrup d: oopsie and hamburger bun with onion and grean bean fries ![]() s:???? hopefully not nuts LOL gotta work on the water today! not had enough... yeah michelle i wish you would come kick it for me...!!!!!!!!!! but i think i was down some according to wii fit but it was a different time of day... I know I know that is cheating and i need to just weigh on mon. but i cant help it... i am addicted to the scale! |

well supr was actually parmesan chicken ( chicken coated with egg and parmesan baked till done then pizza sauce and mozz cheese on top then put back into oven till melted...
then I had some coconut cream pie.. lc kind with some whipped cream on top... OOOOOOOOOOOOOOso good! the thing i should be blushing about is walking by the sour cream and onion chips on the counter and grabbing a small handful... thinking twice and STILL eating them!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH LAYS SOUR CREAM AND ONION ARE eeeevvvvvviiiiiilllllllllllllllllll WELL ITS 8:35... I AM NOT GONNA PUT ANOTHER THING IN MY MOUTH!!! but i did do some light step arerobics on the wii did about 20 min. worth... and it did not kill my back.... i also did a 3 min hoola hoop program and a 3 min jog!.... not all at the same time but throughout the day! good news i did get my DD10 to do 20 min of exercise too ![]() good luck to all |

That is awesome your back held up to the exercise! Water heaters should last for years. Ours seem to corrode every few years because of our really hard water. We didn't get it put in today. We couldn't get the water heater we needed. Not until Fri! Ugh! Dh shut it off and drained it yesterday. He turned it back on and filled it and let it leak long enough so we could all 4 shower again. Then shut it off and drained it again. Think it will get old by Sat? The heating elements are really easy to replace. Takes just a few min. They are really inexpensive. ok well the scale was kind 154.. but TOM came this morning... maybe thats why

STILL only a trace in ketosis... i really dont think it took this long to get purple before oh well if it is not at least light pink by sat... i will have to do something drastic with carbs.... very very low...got 20 min of more light step aerobics on the wii so that was 40 min total yesterday!... gonna try for 20-30 again tonight.. gotta keep it light till my back is better for the gym.. well gotta go hope every one is doing well will probably check back in before bed.. b: hto wings s;coffee l: oopsie and hamburger patty s: almonds s: shake d: ??? zaxby salad or chicken salad |

well i weighed this morning and it said 152.2... got on again and it said the same thing but i am really doubting it! so I did not post that in the challenge gonna wait til mon. to post that LOL.... ok
yesterday i worked from 8am till 3 then 5 till midnight so food was and is always an issue on these days cuz i get a 10 min break ont the the 5 til 12 job so i tend to graze! yesterdays menu was a little off: 3 sausage 1 coffee and sf koolaid chciken salad and sf jello hotdog no bun burger no bun sunflower seeds lc candy bar 13 carbs ![]() water water water sprite zero weekend is here and they are always hard since i am around food. but hoping that cleaning the house will keep me occupied and not always thinking of what i could be putting in my mouth LOL |

ok still down! 152 this morning!
yes i broke down and ate 1/2 a home made choc chip cookie last night LOL and 4=5 chips... but other than that i did good! I am a little stressed out cuz my central heat and air is OUT! luckily we have 4-5 space heaters we are currently using to keep warm... Its gonna cost more than i have right now to fix it... course i would charge it if it was an emergency!... you know like if the temp was too cold for space heaters! it was 50 outside yesterday so space heaters are ok but... the space heaters will do till the 15th when i can pay cash!... ok gotta go eat something my tummy is rumbling! check back in later ![]() Last edited by jfarmer1; 01-11-2009 at 09:07 AM.. |

was down another bit this morning.. but i never believe the scale till it has told me 2-3 days in a row.. LOL
my heat is fixed and all is well... thank goodness gonna get cold here in tn in a few days... I am going back to they gym after being away for 2 1/2 weeks with my slipped disc.. or thats what the xray finally said it was LOL hoping when i go to the gym that i can get my measurements... I am so curious! but one thing i really wanna work on slimming or toning is my thighs!!! so if u r reading this and u know of something that has worked for u... give me a shout! I did eat a carb smart ice creamy yesterday... it LOOKED so good int he grocery isle... 9 carbs 2 fiber and some SA they say to deduct but i dont so i figured hmm 7 carbs aint that bad and much better than a wendys frosty LOl TODAY b: 1 piece of fried bologna... kind a in a rush LOL L: 12:30 a few non LC chips... less than an oz.. while i was waiting on my lc burger with oopsies to get done LOL... s: hmmm not sure.... d: oh so up in the air... left over of linda sues chili pie? s: ???? off to the grocery store.. out of too many good things ( bacon, sausage, nuts, porkrinds, sourcream, ) |

k the new avitaris me( the blonde) and my big sis at disney world... I wanted to put the other one up where she has her tongue sticking out but she would kill me LOL we both are tired from walking all day and our hair is all outta wack but i love this pic.
any way.. here is my menu for today.. b: 1 bologna l: oppsies and hamburger patty.. a few chips waiting on it to get ready( i know bad girl bad girl but sour cream and onion are my favorite) then some porkrinds s: slice of an apple d: pizza toppings s: 2 brazil nuts water, water water got to the gym today... first time since i hurt my back the day after christmas!!!!!!!!!! wow... my back flaired up a bit once i got home so after supper I laid down and took it easy while watching my DD play on the wii fit. our goal is for her to get on at least 30 min. 4-5 times a week... this way she gets some exercise in and does not sit in front of the tv all night after home work.. I also went grocery shopping so... i think tmw i will have steakumms at some point in the day with some broccoli ![]() got wieghed and measured at the gym... down a total of 22.2 pounds since i first joined and around 20 inches... but i cant figure for the life of me figure out how i could be down 4.8 pounds from a month a go and have gained in my thighs, abs and chest but lost every where else?... our bodies are sosososo strange |

ok today's weigh in was just like yesterdays and the same as the gym 150... so one more day and i will change my profile
![]() but 2 lbs in 1 or 2 days worries me a bit.. now i love losing and dont wanna stall but too fast cant be good... ok i am trying to move up the carbladder a bit to see if i can do it without over induldging... we had a very cold morning here and its just gonna get colder this week ( 18 this morning YUCK) so i had 1/4 of a cup of oatmeal made with water splenda and butter.. with apiece of fried bologna... s: 2 brazil nuts.. these things are great!!! and less carbs than almonds but i am not sure if they fill me up like almonds do. ok so my mom started kinda doing this with me... She is 69, diabetic, deaf and on a fixed income.... so many times when i make cassaroles i take her 1/2 so she will have somthing there and ready... she has lost 5 lbs in 2 -3 weeks ... and thats the 2-3 weeks we did not go to the gym because of my back! I think she she doing very well and she is very excited too.. she did not have as much weight to lose as i did so she will be a bit slower than me... she is very competitive and loves to compare our results sheets fromt he gym.. she cracks me up... mom used to sit down and eat a sleeve of crackers and finish it off with a sf but high carb dessert... i know this has been difficult on her but she has the will power of no one i have ever seen before.. my mom i amazing ! ![]() any way enough with the ramblings for now i am will update my food later tonight... hope every one has a great day! |
