Tiffany2288 is Aiming for 30 miles a week of cardio

So I am aiming for 30 miles per week of cardio and aiming to hit the gym 5-6 days per week. I have been writing down my workouts but thought it would be easier to do it here and would love any feedback from others.

I started Sunday 11/9 (with the goal of 30 miles per week).

Sunday 11/9--Weight 129 lbs

Weights - Arms & Abs

Rolling Staircase = 2.5 miles = 20 mins
Bike = 2.5 miles = 10 mins

Cardio Total 5 miles = 30 mins

(The Rolling Star Climber is a great choice of workout, as long as you don't mind climbing an endless flight of stairs. You'll get a great overall aerobic workout, and your lower-body muscles will get plenty of action-especially your calves and thighs. The new rolling stair climbers that look like mini-escalators give a tougher workout because it's harder to cheat.)

Weights - Chest (superset with step ups)

Rolling Staircase = 2.5 miles = 17 mins
Running on Treadmill = 2.5 miles = 23 mins

Cardio Total = 5 miles = 40 mins

Weights - Biceps

Rolling Staircase = 2.75 miles = 17 mins
Wave Machine = 5.75 miles = 13 mins

Cardio Total 8.5 miles = 30 mins

(Wave Machine simiulates roller blading. Cardio Wave is the only cardiovascular equipment that engages the user on three different planes of movement: extension, abduction and external rotation – simultaneously.)

Friday 11/14--Weight 129 lbs
Another rest day for me. My parents are taking us out to dinner to celebate our 1 year wedding anniversary. We're going back to the place where we got married for their awesome surt n turf and yummy seafood. I can't wait!

Will run and do weights in the am tomorrow first thing.

(I need to do 6.5 miles tomorrow to hit 30 miles for this week in 5 days of working out.)

Just popping in here to say I hate the rolling stairs thing, it's so hard! The woman next to me was chatting on the phone, watching TV and reading a magazine. Me? I was clutching the bars and tripping!

Oh yeah that's kind of how I started doing it too LOL....my gym was SO packed in Jan a few years ago that is was the ONLY cardio machine I could get so I tried and it almost fell off of it after 5 mins...its hard as hell and a toug workout! I stuck with it bec I couldn't get any other equipment due to the "january effect" and after 2 weeks 3 people commened on how much smaller my butt was so I stuck with it LOL.....I alternate between this, runing, the bike, elliptical and the wave machine. Our gym is so crowded at 5:45pm that I just take what I can get now

Rest day....SOOO sored from Yoga....started the 10 in 10 callanetics DVD but was so incredibly sore that I stopped.

Bartended for 9 hours so that's my cardio for the day.

Monday--Allegist & Chiropractor appts ran too long after work so I missed my yoga class and didn't get home til 8pm

I was way too hungry/over tired from bartending on the weekend to go to the gym.

Had dinner, watched some shows on teh DVR and went to bed early.

1 hour power pump/sculpt cardio class (at my dad's gym at home)
It was a GREAT class, such a good class I tried recruiting the instructor to come work at my gym LOL.

Saturday - Rest day - Weight 132 lbs (up 2 from thanksgiving)

I had my sister in law and 2.5 year old niece over all day friday and saturday (all girls slumber party) during the day...chasing her is a workout in itself!

Walked around the mall for a few hours too and bartended for 8.5 hours so I got in lots of cardio. (just not the typical gym/machine kind like I usually do).
