I didn't gain while I was gone, even though I ate offplan part of the time. I did go upto 175 this week, though!

Back on plan. That's a total gain of 23 lbs?!?!?!!? What in the world am I doing? This is ridiculous! I know that 8 of it was from steroids, so couldn't be helped, and some of this last 5 is water weight, but still....this is nuts!

landjaeger & Korean cucumber
tea w/ 1 Splenda, HWC

fried pizza toppings: pepperoni, 1 green onion, 1/2 tomatoe, herbs, garlic, Parmesan, mozzarella, marinated artichoke hearts, pickled jalapenos
tea w/ 2 Splenda, HWC

I think that the shredded mozzarella might have gluten in it. I don't feel good.

Yesterday ate cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory, Thai food for lunch, movie theater popcorn for dinner. I had some other food, too, but those are the ones that likely made me retain water.

Today, I ate the rest of my cheesecake and had chips w/ dinner (taco salad).

Well, once again, I've been off lc.

Monday, August 15--- restarted Atkins
Tuesday's weight -- 175.5
Tuesday night -- lentil soup and papudum
Wednesday -- papudum
Thursday-- chips and chili
Monday, August 22 -- 174.5

I was annoyed that I'd only gone down 1 pound, but now that I see that I ate offplan 3 days in a row, that's actually expected. Plus, I've been having SF ice cream bars and HC lattes--either of those might affect me, but I don't know.

This week's menu:
  • fajita meat, Honduran guacamole salad, homemade salsa, sour cream
  • pork verde, South American pickled vegetables, broccoli w/ butter
  • Thai beef w/ green beans, Thai tea, salad
  • tandoori chicken, and chicken appetizer w/ tamarind sauce, okra bhaji (India)
  • Chinese pepper steak
  • rolled flank steak (Argentina), wilted lettuce salad
  • seasoned, deep-fried crispy chicken (Singapore), okra w/ bacon

2 days ago, I ate chips, watermelon, a candy bar and strawberries, and some tea w/ sugar. Maybe I shouldn't plan parties for awhile. (This was for the kids, not for me, but I was THERE w/ the food all day long.) I was happy that I was only up 1 pound.

Yesterday, I had about 1/4 c of watermelon, low-carb foods, and 2 HC lattes (one bigger than a grande, one grande). Why my weight is up another 3 lbs, I don't know. Oh, and I had about 1/4 c of chili w/ dinner (polish dog, cheese and onions)

I think that I will count carbs since I haven't been. Maybe that will help.

Looking over my weight, I see that everytime I go off LC my weight goes up. I was upto 182 at one point, then back to 180. Today...177.5.

Thanks, stews!

Jackie said that my weight might have gone back up from eating more vegetables after not eating many because the fiber causes cells to retain water. I haven't been drinking lots of water like I know that I need to not retain water, so I wonder if that would help. We'll see.
