Well, I didn't do anything this weekend. I just forgot to come here.

Weight is still 173.5. That's good...it isn't going up. While I was fasting, it went down to 169.5. Even though I knew that wasn't a real weight, it was nice to see 160something, you know?

BREAKFAST

duck eggs scrambled in fake butter, pepperoni and green onions

STEWS! You came back!

Thanks for the encouragement! Yeah, I'll be in the 160s for real in not too long if I don't eat too many vegetables. Who would've ever thought that vegetables could keep a person from losing weight? Pile on those pork rinds and coconut oil!

TODAY'S WEIGHT
was taken at 8:45 (2 hours later than normal, so probably lighter than it would've been at 6:30)

171.5

That's 2 lbs less than yesterday, and 2 lbs lower than my lowest weight. I'll wait until tomorrow to see what my real weight is, but it was sure nice to see 171.5!

Thinking about some microwave pork rinds. Or pork rinds w/ bacon grease! Yum! My, how my tastes have changed! Either that, or I've never realized that I like fat because I grew up in the "fat is disgusting" era.

Not sure if I mentioned but I took the weekend "off" from lowcarb and pretty much ate whatever I wanted this past holiday weekend. I wondered if I could do it and get right back on and how long it would take to lose it bla bla, well TODAY I am back under 150!!! I am SO excited! In my Atkins history of well quite a few years I was terrible about NOT being able to take ONE BITE off plan because I would just let it go into a downward spiral. Hopefully that's over now! I started slowly and usually only do it when I "feel" under control to begin with and make it either one THING or one MEAL. It's nice to be able to do this because I don't feel so deprived ya know? I think it will help me stick to this for life. I couldn't do it before at maintenance at all and wouldn't maybe try it if I weren't at a "comfortable" weight for me. Just sharing!

BTW, feeling GREAT today!

Yay!!!! So happy for you! And it gives me hope that things can change for me! I've always believed that I could handle food better if I were actually at a size that I don't mind...now to just GET there.

Thanks!

That's interesting! How does it go up? Well, mine goes up if I eat something , but I DO remember noticing it going up around 10:30 or so when I hadn't yet eaten.

Wendy the first time I did LC I got to my goal and kept going down. I had no idea how to maintain. I am sure a lot of it was just finding out from experience what worked for me, oh and also not trying to "starve" myself to get to a weight that was too low for ME. Oh and PS some people can count carbs and I know you are supposed to add 5 per day or something until you stop losing bla bla well I am NOT that kind of person. ACK! It makes my head hurt thinking about it!

I was 147.5 this morning! Weird but since I pigged out last weekend and then went back on it caused me to go on down from where I'd been stuck for a while! I still can never understand how that happens. BUT I like it!!!
