Yes probably water weight. You gain FAST on LC I have seen in the past but it just takes a few days to get rid of it. Glad I KNEW that! I have done good since then. Eating more food to help but on plan.

Just peeking in. Doing great on my plan--stayed on plan even on Easter. I'm now down a tad over 18 lbs. Finally losing again. The weird thing is that I doubled my veggies and fat and I'm losing faster. Yeah!!!!!

Yay!!

I seem to have noticed that I can eat more vegetables if I consume more fat. And still lose weight, I mean.

Back at it starting today. I kept eating crud because we were going to do Passover, and then it got postponed a gazillion times.

TODAY'S FOOD

1 tBSP coconut oil
salad--less than 1 c Romaine, 2 oz (guessing) cervelat (sausage from the Bavarian shop), about 1 tsp meyer lemon olive oil, and pepper

Um...just read this about cervelat on Wikipedia:

"In its modern Swiss variety, it consists of a mixture of beef, bacon and pork rind[1] that is packed into zebu intestines,[2] slightly smoked and then boiled."

Um...they eat zebu in Switzerland?

Switzerland is very pretty but gosh you'd have to have goats and mules to climb all those mountains!

I always wanted to live in the mountains, away from everything else, w/ a nice little (or huge--I'm not too picky about that ) house in a meadow surrounded by forest, facing a clear, blue lake. With a goat wandering around.

Sounds like Heidi. Which is in Switzerland, right? I guess that Chewie and I need to move there. It can't be helped.

TODAY'S WEIGHT

176

It actually said 175, but I got back on the scale and it started lying to me. It kept it up, so I'm deciding to pretend to believe 176 rather than 175 because it showed up more times than 175.

Don't know what's going on with my weight. I've been on plan and still up 4 lbs from my low on 4/7. I'm trying hard not to be discouraged. This hormonal meno-thing sucks!!!

Weight update: added in flax and more veggies and lost 3 of the 4 lbs already. Hope it continues. Then I can start fresh AGAIN. Grrrrrrr (At least I didn't give up although it crossed my mind)

I came here to see at what weight Lucy was when she started losing, again. I'm almost there! I can't believe it, because I remember thinking how skinny our Lucy was and if I could only be that weight, again. I DO know that I'm shorter, so I'm still puffier, but at least my weight is going down w/ time. Thank you, God!!!
