That could be what was going on w/ me. You're so smart! I'd love you even if you weren't smart!

Milk was a very bad idea

I don't feel so well.
  • weight up 2 pounds
  • right ear is thinking about hurting
  • digestive complaints
  • darker circles under my eyes
  • tired

Yesterday
  • unsteady blood sugar (almost fell asleep)
  • kept eating but wasn't actually hungry, just felt like it
  • dessert felt like a heavy blob in my stomach
  • swollen stomach

Additions to that list

  • I was trying to go back to sleep, but I had that "I'm so hungry that if I don't eat NOW, I'm going to throw up" hypoglycemic feeling
  • Now I feel kind of nauseous in a different way, and not in a sick way, either.

I LOVE milk products, though!

Hmm...upon further thought, I haven't been missing them that much. I've been using canned coconut milk in tea, and that's really yummy. I've been using EVOO instead of butter when cooking...hmm...this is a very weird, odd, strange revelation. What can it MEAN!?!??!?

Thanks, Landis!

I would say that I guess that I know that I should stay away from it, but...I'm a little stubborn. "a little" I've read that milk fat shouldn't contain the protein, which is the part that I know that I have an intolerance to, so I'm thinking...after awhile of avoiding dairy, again, I might try just butter and HWC. Maybe I CAN have that w/o feeling ill. That would be nice.

Yeah it's a talked about subject for sure. I don't mind though. I am looking at it differently this time. I DID LOVE wearing almost anything at 135 pounds though, even 2 piece suits. Not sure if I could now since I am older but really it was just like 5 years ago.

Ahem well older means flabbier at least usually. Anyway, it takes a lot more exercise to not be!

It's just that well like when you are 19 you have no need to exercise because you are firm anyway but as you get older it's a little harder. I haven't noticed that much though honestly.

I shouldn't be there. I just read this:

"...carbs in and of themselves are not bad. As I said before, your body needs a minimum of 100g per day just to keep you out of ketosis (where your body breaks down lean tissues to burn to replace the glucose it wants to fuel brain function.)"

ACK!!! Now I'm going to be up all night!

NO It burns fat! That's one of those anti-carb things. No backing it up at all.

It's weird, the things that people will say when they don't know what they're talking about. I wonder how often I do it?

I had a metabolic test done by a nutritionist while on Atkins. It showed that I was burning fat, and she was very excited about that (instead of me burning up my muscles).

It's better to add strength training on ANY diet not just Atkins. BUT you can't tell me I have burned 18 pounds of muscle!

Yeah, exercise is good. I have really trim hands from typing so much. Just think what the rest of me could look like if I were to get off my rear!
