It's just so easy to forget to turn to God instead of other things. I need it drilled into my head.

Third dairy-free day

I goofed. Three times.

BREAKFAST
2 sausage patties
1 TBSP coconut oil

SNACK
part of a SF raspberry mocha. It was so creamy. Then I realized that I wasn't suppose to be drinking cream! The kids were happy to get my mistake.

LUNCH
2 bunless Dick's Special burgers--those are CHEESEburgers! That didn't click w/ me until 10:40 PM!
a few fries w/ tartar sauce (Um...chicken eggs! Not dairy, but not something that I should eat, either.)

SNACK
More fries w/ tartar sauce

DINNER
Indian restaurant:
papadum w/ spicy mint sauce
my chicken had butter
my salad had sugar
the main dish had cream or yogurt
Since I had just had sugar and milk, I had a few sips of DH's chai.

I really don't feel well, and I just might know why.

Signed,
The owner of the carby, milky day

My weight is not cooperating with me and it's frustrating. I talked to dh about it and he said just to give the plan some more time. I'm still 100% and will continue for a month--2 more weeks. I hope it starts moving down.

If you look at my loss, you will see that I was down 5 pounds the first week, 5 pounds the second, 1 pound the third and looks like 1.5 or 2 the fourth. Don't give up if you are losing ANYTHING at all. It just takes time now that we are older and have all the menopause stuff going on.

TODAY'S FOOD

pork rinds w/ creamy bacon grease
1/2 avocado w/ cayenne and garlic salt

protein drink:
1 c So Delicious unsweetened coconut milk
2 scoops Insulean Whey chocolate protein powder
1/4 c raspberries

ground beef w/ taco seasoning
1/2 avocado
1/2+ cup green beans, cooked in wok w/ sesame oil, garlic salt, pepper, lots of onion powder

3 c strawberry slender tea
more water

TOTALS
calories 990
fat 70
carb 39
protein 54

990 calories?!? What?!?

Lunch felt like such fake food, and yet, it was all natural! Yes, the whey in the protein powder is from milk, but I'm allergic to casein, not whey, so I had it. I wanted to try the coconut milk, and didn't know what else I was going to use it for! So...then why did I buy it?

My stomach hurt yesterday; my intestines have been hurting today. I was up 1 1/2 pounds from yesterday morning. My eyes were red last night. My stomach is distended, and I was tired yesterday and today. I felt fine until that oops of a mocha yesterday morning. It all went downhill from there!

NAP
Oh, and even though I was tired and contemplated a nap before lunch, ...waaaaiiittt...BEFORE lunch? I hadn't thought about that! That's early to be thinking of a nap! Anyway, I was REALLY tired after the protein drink. I took a 3 1/2 hour nap. Still sleepy.

Protein drink breakdown:
calories 236
fat 7
carb 21
protein 23

Hmm...that's a lot of carbs w/o much fat.

I thought that I had commented; maybe I did in the other thread?

I think that you're doing great! I'm sorry that your weight isn't cooperating, but sticking to it is awesome, IMO! KUTGW, Chewie!

Just curious, did you decide to do the newer Atkins or '72?

Do you want ideas right now, or would you rather just keep going as is and see what happens? Let us know what you want or need, OK? I don't want to let you down by not giving ideas or by giving them! I want to help you! I love you!

Good morning!

still 184.5 today

I have SO much water retention! I didn't drink enough water yesterday, but this is crazy--I have indented lines all over myself! I look silly!

Stomach is still distended; intestines still don't feel right.

I'm going to go in the hot tub for awhile w/ the kids. I need to make a menu today.

I really want to lose some more weight! BUT I am getting smaller! At least I was until this thing w/ my guts! Friday morning, I put on some jeans that I hadn't worn in a few weeks, and they were lose on the waist--no muffin top!! They're my favorite jeans (the jeans w/ paint streaks, & rhinestones on the back pockets) but to get to where I want to be, I'll have to give up ALL of my clothing. That's better to me!

Twins! My stomach is burning tonight too It is very uncomfortable. Haven't had anything this afternoon that would do that! I had some vienna sausages and then tuna with mayo. At lunch I had fajitas with hot cheese but that was too long ago at least I THINK. Course it feels the same way it did when I had the jalepenos so maybe it is just hitting ahem on down further

I think that the fat was actually lower than that because my ground beef is pretty lean. (I forgot to tell the butcher to not make it lowfat. Can't do everything right!)
