If you read on the WIT thread you know I had an awful day. It's better now and I'm still 100% on plan. GOing to rock this plan.

SO glad you are better and still spot on plan! Me too!!! I am NOT hungry at all. I hate to even post what little I ate today. I may go have a piece of cheese or something but really don't want it.

I had 2 eggs with 1 slice of cheese and 3 pieces of bacon at the Barrel with Mom.

Snack 1.75 bag of peanuts

A little off the rotisserie chicken DH had left over.

evening girls. I noticed I am down about a pound and a half. It's those stupid stairs and the computer being upstairs.

I am at this time simply cutting back on my portions. better than nothing, right?

Weight

I wasn't going to weigh today, but I couldn't stand it. I ate so much pizza toppings last night that I knew that I'd be retaining water, and I could SEE that I was, but I haven't weighed myself for over a week, and I was scared of what's going on.

Fri, Jan. 8--183
Sun, Jan 17--186.5

Could all be water weight, but it could be that I just ate too much and/or too many carbs all week. I didn't keep track of anything.

I do that sometimes. It'll come back off especially if you go a little lighter than usual the next couple of days. By lighter I mean for ME that means less food maybe than usual and more like strict induction foods. That's just me though. YMMV

I can't resist weighing every day either. I feel like I may be up in the morning, feel kind of puffy. We'll see. I was 159 today and yesterday. I am happy!

I need to weigh everyday or just about everyday because it encourages me to stay on track, and/or to see when I've gone off it!

I'm REALLY considering going off all dairy products for a couple of weeks to see if I feel better. My ND said that I show a lot of symptoms, plus I KNOW that I'm allergic to it...so...I shouldn't be surprised!

But I don't want to because I like eating all of that creamy, fatty, filling yumminess. I guess that I'll have to cook more since I won't be able to just grab something from the fridge.

Still don't want to do it, though. Aaaannnnddd that's a frequent indication of an allergy--addiction and a desire to NOT cut it from the diet.

I'm tired today. I think I slept too much during the day yesterday what with sleeping late and then a nap. I couldn't get to sleep till after 1 and then kept waking up. I'm going to try to make it without a nap today and see if that helps.

For me it's wheat and many fruits oh and soy. And other things I don't know they they, but I get those reactions from who knows what from time to time, severe reactions, just can't pinpoint it. I'm a denier of them sometimes too.

Thanks for telling them here IT IS MAJOR, STILL IS, will take me weeks to get it all straightened out. I am dealing with it better now though. That's due to prayer and a peace from Him that passes all understanding!

Landis, sorry if I've asked, but have you had a blood allergy test done? IME, it's an easy way to find out what to avoid. Of course, then you have to actually AVOID the things.

Yeah I have, they showed up things that don't bother me for some and yes they did hit on others. Of course they do tests on things that are common and I don't think a couple of mine are. I do avoid what I KNOW when I am on Atkins. That is one reason I think I stick to it so well when I can't others. I can't eat fruit which I LOVE and of course you can't have bread or even breading and I am allergic to wheat so...also found I cannot eat any bars because of the soy which seems to bother me even more than wheat. I get skin allergies and anaphalactic reactions not stomach problems. YUCK!

How else are you doing Wendy?

I had blueberries show up as an allergy, but I don't know if I've ever noticed problems from them. Then again, I'm not sure that I've consumed blueberries during a time period in which I WASN'T eating other known allergens, so who knows?!

So, you can't have soy sauce?

I'm doing OK, thanks.

Yeah I had peanuts show up but I have eaten them for YEARS with no problem. They did say that since they showed up I was likely allergic to walnuts or other nuts and I have noticed a problem with walnuts and macadamia nuts. It's not severe thank goodness. I can eat all berries, I can't eat apples, peaches, kiwi, plums, oranges that kind of stuff.

I hate it! I have to say my bad reactions have slowed down a BIT. This past year I only had one ER visit. For a few years I was having a lot more, like 2 a year or so. It's scary for one thing!!!
