Not sure about another snack?

I think I am going to continue what I have been doing and add a few almonds in - I will also eliminate bars except as ER food - shakes do not seem to bother me. I am staying away from yogurt for now and although I had a GG - no other grains. I am going to try to increase my veggies and stop the cheese and faux product creep.....

This is ridiculous - still maintaining........up and down .2 to .4 lbs each day....
Woke up tired today - overslept - no exercise - employee who works til 6 was a no show so I am stuck here til 6

B=1/2 grapefruit + 1 hb egg +1 LC cheese = 140
L=1/2 can tuna in olive oil/drained w/tiny bit of shredded cheese and lemon = 150
S=few almonds = 100
D=small burger McDonalds (no bun) w/mayo + coffee w/non dairy creamer + 1 lg T of Fage yogurt = 400
Total will be around 800
I am teetering on disaster, I can feel it ...I am bored and frustrated. I need to get to exercising. Most importantly, I just threw the nuts out - will throw the yogurt out tonight and get back on track. I have until July 24th to get to 147 - at least was hoping for 143 (unlikely). So I am going to give it my all, report what I eat and NOT WEIGH until every Friday morning!!!!

Yesterday - I ate pretty good and did a 20 minute circuit work out - felt good - I am definitely having stomach issues and hope I go soon.......this may be why I have not lost.....could be from the nuts and yogurt, although I have not had much at all. I am taking the 1 tsp of Carlson's every am for the last week and I think I will increase it starting Friday to 1 tsp in am and 1 tsp in pm

Had a great week end exercise wise and diet wise - was pretty good although I did eat out Friday and Saturday - Saturday was 5 boiled shrimp and cesaer salad. Now I am UP and I just don't get it......Last week and all week end I was exhausted tired again and having the headaches again - seems like this is a pattern where my weight goes up whenever I feel this way. So today is 155.4...no exercise.
Totally off plan today - 1T peanut butter + 1 Fage yogurt + coffee black.
1 LC cheese wedge on 1/2 GG. Tonight will be left over chicken and coffee w/creamer. That should be it. Will re-start meat and salad (induction ) tomorrow. Also keeping it light in the evenings. No Braggs No coconut Oil (only on my face!!) Avocado, butter, mayo, little salad dressing - 2 cps salad per day til 7/24. One more time..............

changed dinner - same amount of calories but 1/4 cp no salt cc + dash of cin andvanilla protein powder + 1/2 tsp peanut butter + coffee w/non dairy creamer.

Also lunch was the egg/cheese/lettuce/dressing but I only had 1/2 the yolk and added avocado so L=300
total cals = about 900

plan for Friday

EX= cardio + legs (probably Fonda's stress relief cardio and then JFonda's LB workout)
B= shake + black coffee=100
L=cheese(2oz) + avocado = 300
D= 1/2 burger w/1 tsp mayo= 300
S=coffee w/1tsp non dairy creamer + 1/4 mint oh yeah protein bar = 60
Total =700-800

I typically gain on Sat am because we eat out on Friday and I am going to break that this week - I just have to lose this weight. Lunch is what it is because that is what I already have at work and the avocado won't be any good after Sunday so I will throw it out tomorrow.

I got some reservatrol and will start that on Saturday after I read Dr Johnson's info on it. Saturday I will try to talk BF into going to Luby's - I really want the baked chicken and cabbage...then Sunday will be ribeyes and shrimp. Exercise will be low intensity cardio plus band strengthening for upper body and lower body and maybe a little yoga and pilates....Sunday noon I have an appointment to get my hair colored and cut - new place - aveda spa - I sure am ready for a change and hope it looks good. I am really excited about going home next week end for my stepfather's 85th B'day celebration, but I am even more excited to go home on 8/7 to visit with and stay with my girlfriends. I just hope and pray BF behaves himself, takes his meds etc while I am gone. I am not even telling him about 8/7 until that week. I just want to relax and visit -I have not seen anyone in a really long time .....and....I need to lose some weight by then .....so, that is my motivation.

Too much fake food still......tomorrow I get hair cut and colored. It is thundering here - and I am very tired. Dog had me up @5:30 this morning acting as if she were sick......BF had me up last night w/scary movies til 1:30am. Now BF has a migraine (every SAT and SUN) so I will take advantage of it and go to sleep early.....

Tomorrow will be a busy day. I also intend to exercise heavily tomorrow......I am starting to really enjoy my exercise again. Oh and I got some reservatrol that I will start tomorrow after my hair. Will also be having a Ribeye tomorrow night!!

Had my hair cut and colored and for a change I like it - it is really short but feels good.
I liked the salon and the person who cut my hair...they do not accept gratuities!! Weird.. Anyway, got everything done except bills which I will do in a minute - I bought chicken legs and put them in the oven covered w/low sodium chicken broth tons of garlic and olive oil - that will be dinner for the next two or three nights. Tomorrow I will have egg whites plus cheese for breakfast w/a few almonds and black coffee (200)
L= sliced tomato and sliced mozz w/1T Braggs for lunch = 200

S=either espresso (starbucks light) semi frozen or yogurt = 80 So total will be about 780. I am going to try to do Jane Fonda's stress relief cardio plus JF legs.

I would just be thrilled if I could lose 5 lbs by Friday........unlikely I know but a girl can dream!!

BF had a migraine last night - so far today so good. I changed things (routine) up today from normal Sundays - let him sleep and be on his own till 3 ish and then went to Black Eyed Pea for Burgers instead of cooking - so far so good....knock on wood......we'll see.

I have lots to do before I leave tomorrow to go to New Orleans (home) for my step father's 85th birthday - I was really hoping to be @149 or at least 152 - oh well, it was not in the cards - mostly my own fault.

Hi Redeemed!! Thanks so much for stopping by and rooting for me!! You are right of course - 10lbs down....and 10lbs ago I did not think I would be able to lose even 1 lb since menopause set in.....just goes to show it can be done. Consistency is the key - both in exercise and extra clean diet....which I fell off of by adding in the protein bars etc. I am going back on track officially tomorrow - being out of town oddly enough always helps me to stay on my diet - I think it is because of no boredom and not stress and I stay active. I will report back on Sunday.

Well, I am back from New Orleans - ate at Antoines, Cheese omelettes every morning, Breve's from Puccino's and Starbucks.......Bourbon Street...it was wonderful. I ended up doing virtually no exercise except for the walking down Bourbon (it was HOT) and really only ate two meals per day...Breakfast and Dinner. I was able to MAINTAIN....no gain...I was scared to get on the scale this morning but I did okay. No exercise this morning - flying tires me - and I really had nothing prepared to eat. So today was Peanut Butter w/Protein Powder on 1/2 lc bagel and coffee w/non dairy creamer. Snack=Protein bar Snack = Kroger LC vanilla yogurt plus 3/4 oz cheddar cheese Snack = protein bar. Tonight I will cook Turkey Burgers for tomorrow and get officially back on program. I reallly am going to make a concentrated effort - no excuses - to lose at least 8 lbs by 8/7 when I go back to New Orleans to visit my girlfriends. I am crossing my fingers and toes...I am going to do this!!

Did not weigh today - ended up having a really bad day yesterday - BF is severely depressed - he doesn't want to brush his teeth or shave...have him going to the Psychiatrist today....I am worried. I know I should not use this as an excuse to eat but it is like my brain did not/does not function in times like this and before I realize it I have eaten a ton of stuff I should not have eaten. I feel like I am more in control now....I did exercise this morning - cardio and legs about 20 minutes total...the stress of BF has me feeling exhausted again. I just HAVE to lose weight before next Friday.....although now I am worried about even going away w/BF like this - hopefully he will be out of it by then. I may need to contact his daughter to see if she can stay with him - we'll see......

So, anyway, what is done is done - going forward.....tonight will be a mini burger w/ lettuce or 1/2 turkey burger and coffee or maybe an egg.....

Tomorrow I will walk for 3 miles and do legs and I will eat:
B=1 hard boiled egg and black coffee
L=1 egg and 1 oz cheese w/1 tsp mayo
D=burger w/lettuce and tomato and coffee w/non dairy creamer
Thursday and Friday will be the same only dinner may vary. Exercise will vary as well. Got to nip this in the bud and get back on track with mainly protein.

Despite eating well all weekend and terrific exercise - Taebo upper body and then floor legs on Saturday and Joan Lunden's video on Sunday....I am 155.2...poop!!

This is excrutiatingly slow......154.4 -down .8

EX=Yoga Booty Ballet Lite and Easy and Gww floor legs
B=2T peanut butter + coffee w/non dairy creamer + cheese stick = 390
L=canned chicken (no salt) + 2 tsp mayo + avocado 1/2 = 275
S=cheese stick = 60

Trying just liquids tonight to see what happens.....calorie total = 880

Last night I walked for a mile and a half. Tonight I think I will just do about 10 minutes of Yoga and some Callanetic stretches.

Tomorrow I plan on doing P90 Circuit 3&4 then walk a mile and 1/2 and then do floor legs.
I have to start getting ready for my trip - Friday I go visit w/my friends in N.O. I am still holding out hope for 149...I know it is unlikely.....oh well -

I am really going to crash diet for Wed and Thurs:
B=1 hard boiled egg w/1/2 tsp mayo and pepper + black coffee = 85
L=2 hard boiled eggs w/1 tsp mayo and pepper + lots of lemon water=170

Exercise Wed = Kickboxing DVD + floor legs
Exercise Thursday = legs + three miles
PM each day = callan stretches and yoga

Friday morning before I leave will be some Gilad toning without weights-UB plus Gilad floor legs and Callan stretches.

Yesterday the scale was 154.6 - felt bad in the evening w/tummy issues.. so I did not follow my diet as planned - in fact all I could manage was crackers and butter last night.

Today I am 152.4....hoping for 151 tomorrow - won't get in the 140s in time for my trip but 151 would be great.

Today I am still a little under the weather but not bad...so far...
Ex= Taebo amped and A little Gilad cardio plus floor legs

B/L= coffee w/non dairy creamer and 5 crackers w/2 1/2 sl 2% cheese
D=?? probably scrambled egg w/butter and coffee.

I am going to the hairdresser tonight and then off tomorrow. I probably will not exercise in the morning or the rest of the week end and except for some wine will try to stay low carb and low calorie so I can maintain the loss.

Okay - not weighing until Monday am - because I know I have gained and I need to get some of the bloat off.......Going back home, staying w/friends I did okay the first 24hrs but the next day - I just blew it and have had trouble getting back on - So today I am officially back on the wagon .

EX: 65 min - firm "hare" and ab walk
B/L=1 coffee w/non dairy creamer and 1 black + 1/2 cup cottage cheese (no salt) w/Protein powder and cinn.

D= ?? Going out - maybe out back - or Chilli's either way it will be meat and salad and veggie. Then coffee w/non dairy creamer when I get home.

I have yogurt left so I may have a yogurt if I get hungry.

I am also going to the grocery for filet, ground meat (want to make meatloaf), eggs, avocado, lettuce. When I first started this - years ago - I used to eat a 1/2 grapefruit every am and then a hardboiled egg at work - I may try that again. If I remember correctly that really filled me up and made me feel "slim" at the same time - the grapefruit also seemed to help w/the bloating and fluid retention. We'll see.

Negatives: Still messing up w/carbs and sugar - I dread weigh in on Monday.

Last Night we went to Chillis for the special 2 for 20 - DBF got Texas cheese fries - I had 7. Then I had a plain burger - ate 2/3 of it - dessert - had a bite of chocolate brownie something.......then coffee at home......poop!!
Today:
Ex-legs of Steele plus 10 min austin cardio dance = 60 min

B= 1/2 mm lite shake - 1 coffee w/non dairy creamer
then I went to the grocery and was hungry and ate bridge mix.....no excuses...did not even taste good.....I have got to stop this.

Tonight I am making a meatloaf - w/egg and onions and celery and salad and boiling eggs for during the week. I bought chicken halves as well to bake on Monday night for tuesday and wednesday. Really wanted filet and boiled shrimp but grocery did not have any. I will go later in the week for filet .....I just have to stick with this ...I know I can lose the weight it is sticking with it.

I think my beloved coffee is setting me off in the am so I am going back to plain black in the morning and then a small one w/sweet n low and non dairy creamer at night or 2 tsp of heavy cream. Limited cheese/mostly meat and salad.........good old atkins 72 for at least a week. Only difference is avocado, asparagus and spinach if needed.

Tomorrow's plan is : Exercise = Method 20/20 yoga
B=1 boiled egg + black coffee
L= slice meatloaf in lettuce wrap w/1 slice chese and mayo = 1 tsp
D= slice meatloaf w/small salad w/ 2 tsp dressing + coffee w/2 tsp heavy cream and 1/2 of 1 pkt of sweet n low.

One day at a time......

Might as well get this over with......uggghhh.......did it to myself and it is worse than I thought......WT=157. Now I am dusting myself off again and regaining control. I am going to see this to the end no matter what...

Today:
EX=AM Cardio Burn (fit tv) and t-tapp legs
B=Peanut butter + coffee w/non dairy creamer + protein bar = 550
L=1 hb egg + 1.5 sli cheese = 175
D=cw/non dairy creamer + egg + 1/3cp whites=175

Total = 900

It wasn't a good start - peanut butter is gone now......but I am trying to make up for it the rest of the day - even though I am hungry....got to suck it up!!!

L= Tuna in oo + lettuce and 1 T Walden Farms dressing = 320

today - walking circuit w/o w/weights and gilad floor legs.
Wt = same
B=2 tsp pb and 1 T cr cheese (whipped)=110
L= 4 crackers + 1 slice of cheese=110
s= 4 crackers + 2 sl of cheese=200
D= 1 T pb +1T whipped cream cheese=200
S=protein bar=200
S=nuts=100
2 coffees w/non dairy creamer=60

Not good - I know - I am having a tuff time w/DBF's health again and mine. In fact I most likely will not be posting for a while...I have a doctor's appointment for Saturday am. Seems that all of a sudden last night whenever I would bend my head to either my left of right shoulder the entire room would spin - especially when I laid down to sleep on either side. This is still going on and I have a slight pain at the base of my skull - almost feels like my head is swollen......I am a little concerned. It is definitely not sinus and I have not hit my head - maybe it is just a pinched nerve or something but that added to everything else is making my life just unbearable right now - too many ups and downs stopping me from gaining control. I need to retreat and handle what I must and give up everything else until I can get things back in my control. I will continue to try to eat better and exercise. Hopefully everything will get better quickly.

I have finally made my way back - it has been really rough. Health, money, job ...everything at once. In fact today is the first day in 7 days that I have not had fever. I had a very bad case of the flu but survived!!

Weight is 158.2 which is not too bad since I have been off plan and absolutely no exercise for the last two weeks. Very limited exercise for over a month.

I can't believe how long it has been since I posted. I am giving myself some time to really get over this illness I have had before I throw myself full force back into my eating plan and exercise routine. Hopefully by Saturday I can start again. I am really going to make an effort to eat more whole foods this time and try to approach this from a more healthful aspect - I may even consider more fruits ...I will think on it - thing is I feel physically better when I eat protein w/limited veggies and some fat (not high fat/average fat).

Anyway, it feels good to be among the living again!! Grateful for what I have !
