Well I woke up this morning completely discusted with myself and said, I'm DONE! No, "I'm gonna start on monday" like i usually do, no i'm starting NOW! I got on the scale and just cried. I weigh more than i ever have.

A few years ago I started atkins and ended up losing 100 pounds! I was fianally looking and feeling like I've always dreamed. I'm not even sure what happened. I started slowly gaining back, off and on, i'd lose it back then gain it back. Now after a while of yo yo'ing here I am starting completly over PLUS 16 extra pounds! I'm done. I'm tired of not going anywhere cause of how i look and feel. I know what it feels like to be where i want to be, so it's beyond time to get back there!

Right now i'm just gonna cut back and do low cal. and work out!

I CAN DO IT!!

Got on the scale this morning. Lost 3 pounds!! I'm so sore i can barely move. I did some squats and lunges, and some arm stuff with the dumbells, and rode the bike around my house 3 miles.

Day 5 I caved and got on the scale. wanted to wait till Saturday but it was just staring at me. 8 pounds gone so far! thats great for 5 days!

Hi Tina

We have very similiar stories, I too had lost all the weight 4 years ago, and here I am bigger than ever! Way to go on the 8lbs! wow! what a way to start! It would be neat if you could post what you ate so I can peek lol

Tina your coming right along. Are you on a strict induction?

Please keep in mind that when you stop losing weight because you are losing fast, it will only be a stall if you keep the carbs down. Changes will continue to go on with your body and when the scale doesn't move you will still feel different every morning when you wake up!

Hang in there girl and welcome back. I did LC back in 1999 (208-158) slowly gained most of it back to 198 in 2004 and it has been difficult to come back but today almost 9 weeks into it I feel much better. See my journal if you'd like and best wishes to you!

Thank you both so much for your encouraging word. I'm actually just pretty much doing low cal, low fat. I'm gonna see how it goes. I usually stray back to low carb, but we'll see what happens. i just love the support here, whichever plan i'm on.
