Jan's "Getting back in the groove" Journal
I am back low carbing! So far it's been okay and I know I need to keep this going for life.
Menu for today! B- turkey sausage coffee with cream [COLOR=#016798]splenda[/COLOR] S- grilled chicken slices L- Cheeseburger on oopsie buns, (with the works) crystal light D- going to ball game so I plan to make me a egg cream, and probably a few nuts and diet coke at game. It's Saturday!!!!
B- 2 oopsie buns with SF syrup and sausage S- coffee with cream L- taco salad tea D- hot wings with ranch dressing Snacks ?????????? Those oopsie buns came in handy this morning because the family had bread and I wanted something too. I warmed them a bit in a skillet and ate them like pancakes. YUM!!!!!!!!! I will be making more of these but will make them pancake style. |

Meek how are ya!
for the oopsie bread/bun recipe here goes. Cleochatra's Best Ever RevolOopsie Rolls 3 large eggs 1 pkg [COLOR=#016798]Splenda[/COLOR] dash of salt pinch of cream of tartar 3 ounces cream cheese (not Tbsp!) Do not soften! Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Separate the eggs and add Splenda, salt, and cream cheese to the yolks. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients together. In a separate bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff (if you're using the same mixer, mix the whites first and then the yolk mixture). Using a spatula, gradually fold the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture, being careful not to break down the whites. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spoon the mixture onto the sheet, making 6 mounds. Flatten each mound slightly. Bake about 30 minutes (You want them slightly softer, not crumbly). Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, and then remove to a rack and allow them to cool. Store them in a bread sack or a ziplock bag to keep them from drying out. Makes 6@ about 85 calories a piece, >1 carb per |

This is my Plan of Attack!
Stay on plan, just went through induction so it will be OWL. Exercise with T-Tapp 3 x week and walk away the pounds (Walk and Kick) 2 x week. Water- 64-100 oz a day. Read my bible daily and continue my home writing journal. I will lose those 20 pounds I gained this summer and more by 2009. |

Down Another Pound!
Hump Day Wednesday!
